I think the point Sara's making is that yes, we are also interested in their personality and how intelligent, fun, charming, etc they are. Those aspects still go into the decision process of who we want to spend our time and money on. But at the end of the day we are still there for sex. It's the sexual encounter that is being sold....would you still be paying if you knew all type of intimacy was off the table (even kissing, cuddling, etc) and that all you were going to get was an intellectual conversation, or just have fun "hanging out"? Basically would you pay someone to be your friend and nothing else? A lot of you may be tempted to say yes, hell...even I'm tempted to say yes to that question. But the hard truth is no, we wouldn't... we're paying for sex. And anyone who says they would pay to just hang out with her, when there's someone else in line who's offering the same exact companionship + sex? I'm afraid I'll have to call bullshit on that one. Really not trying to objectify women in any way....I know full well the ladies here are real people with real feelings, insecurities, issues, etc. But a good analogy is to picture a really good restaurant, with excellent food, and and excellent wait staff who are really friendly and attentive, always on hand to refill your drink when it gets low, coming by often to make sure the food is ok, etc. After going often you start to build a kind of repore with the staff. Now imagine if that restaurant stopped serving all food and drinks...would you still go there and pay money just to hang out with the staff? Of course if I've built a repore with them I'll try and keep some kind of friendship going with them because I enjoy their company, but I sure as hell wouldn't pay for it. I was paying for the food. I think she's saying that yes, cerb is a wonderful place, the community here is great, but it also makes it easy for us to forget what it is and what we're all here for. I know I've been guilty of it...I've sometimes gone weeks without checking the "escort" areas and just looking at the general discussions...and all of a sudden remembering "Oh yeah!......there's escorts on here!" :D

This place is better because of you, Malika! I too have had my instances where I thought I had enough...but it keeps dragging me back in...and it's not even the hobby (ok, well part of it is)...I left the hobby for several months earlier this year but kept coming back to cerb...it's really the community that keeps bringing me back.
