Just came back from meeting Sara for the second time. What a great start to the weekend! I swear this girl could charm the pants right off of me....actually she just did haha! She really is a charmer and an absolute pleasure to be around and funny as hell. She's the type of girl I'd be more than satisfied with just hanging out with her for hours on end. It saddens me that she's now considering not posting :( that anyone should feel alienated here for no just reason is unacceptable for this site. If she were rude or confrontational with other members that would be a different story. But even considering the direction that this thread has taken she's managed to keep her head and remain respectful. That in itself speaks volumes to the kind of person she is. I've never met Emily and may never meet her as I don't visit MP's, nothing against MP's, I'm sure they're wonderful providers, it's just not my preference. My point is that I'm not speaking out of any preference for Emily and am just going from what I've seen here. I won't get into whether or not she should have been nominated. But that anyone should be made to feel like they shouldn't post without just cause saddens me. Emily if you're reading this, rest assured that this is just one thread among thousands. In a few weeks it'll be just another forgotten thread. Don't let a silly little thread bout a silly little contest ruin what could be a great experience for you. Here's a suggestion. And I'm being serious. How about instead of this whole voting business the awards be based on rep points and post nominations instead. For example at 1000 rep points you get a special little "value member" or whatever icon. At 5000 another little icon thingy and the highest award for 10,000 rep points. Something like that anyway. It seems to me that would be a much fairer, less biased system. And would effectivly avoid this kind of squabbling. Just my 2 cents for the mod. Posted via Mobile Device
