I agree with JoyfulC. If you preferred the earlier seasons definitely check out Jeff Lindsay's novels which were the basis for the show. They still retain that sense of "fun" and black humour that the more recent seasons of the show have been sorely lacking. They're a lot of fun. The only one I wasn't crazy about was Dexter In The Dark. The premise was a little out there....even for Dexter lol. But it was still a lot more fun than the last few seasons of the show have been. Every other book in the series are entirely different stories from the show.

This is a fine line. Just my opinion...but if the relationship as a whole is strained and is not working....and if you have done everything to correct it without success.....then why not just end it? I can't see how cheating fixes anything (and yes, seeing SP's behind your S/O's back is cheating). It just compounds an already bad situation. Now...if the emotional relationship itself is still healthy....if there is still love and caring and fulfilment there....and if the only thing missing is the physical aspect of the relationship (be it for medical reasons, psychological reasons, etc)....then I would say that yes, seeing SP's is totally acceptable....provided that your SO is aware of it and is comfortable with it. Lastly...if you're single....or if you're in an "open", honest and non-monogamous relationship. Then hey, why the hell not?! Dive in and have fun! :D Not trying to be judgmental to anyone's own situation. These are just my own views based on my comfort level. Dishonesty of any sort makes me feel guilty...whether its related to escorts or not. But at the end of the day, when it comes to sex between two consenting adults, the only one who can decide if you should feel guilty or not is you.

Watched "The Town" yesterday. Great movie! Between this and Argo, Ben Affleck has really been upping his game lately. So much so that I'm even cautiously optimistic about seeing him play Batman lol

Not really worried about someone I know outing me. It would just be awkward as all hell. For me personally, seeing someone I know would completely ruin the experience for me. I kinda view "Castle" and the real me as 2 separate people....sounds a little schizo I know lol......kinda like how in Seinfeld there was Everyday George and Relationship George.....at no point can the two meet or worlds would collide! :p

Well I have never been to one but I must say that your ads for this have intrigued me, Alexxxis. I've definitely thought about it but can't say for sure if it's my scene...therefore you may want to disregard my vote for "nerves" since I've never attended one (I voted before I read your first post lol). That being said it is an act that has always interested me and has me very curious. I've seen a fair amount of GB porn in my day and it's almost always a turn on for me. Of course I realize that with all things in porn, it's probably a poor reflection of reality....but that almost unrestricted and.....for the lack of a better term..."slutty"...aspect of a GB between consenting adults has always turned me on. The reason I haven't made the plunge IS nerves. I tend to prefer PSE style encounters so the lack of intimacy isn't really an issue for me...at least I don't think it is lol. The thing is, I'm shy by nature...and with a one on one encounter I KNOW who I'm going to meet. Not so with a GB. Also, what if I can't perform because of the stress of it? Lets face it...it happens to the best of us. Dealing with the embarrassment of something like that in the presence of a friendly and understanding SP is one thing. But in the presence of said sp AND a room full of guys I've never met? That's another ballgame entirely (pun intended :p). Plus....Ottawa is a very "small town" in a lot of ways. And the hobbying community is even smaller. It's not too far fetched to imagine that I would show up at one of these events and find a friend, one of my co-workers, or *gag* a relative there. My anonymity is something I take relatively seriously when it comes to this lifestyle. So that's also a concern. So I wouldn't go as far as to say that the GB scene doesn't interest me.....clearly it does....I just gotta work up the balls to take the leap! My long winded of saying that the reason I haven't RSVP'd is nerves lol.
