That's typical Amercian programming for you. They'll project almost anything sexual in a negative light, unless it's they typical man making love to his wife once a week kind of scenario, but even that they'll never show it. When it comes to films and television, they're really uptight about sex over there. That's why a movie or show can be just about as violent as you can imagine, and still manage to get a pg-13 rating, but the second you show a nude pair of breasts, a sexual act or even just a blatant sexual referance, it's an R rating. So by their reasoning, shooting someone in the face is perfectly ok, but something as natural as the act of procreation, or the nude human figure (be it male or female) is taboo. I dunno, it's always seemed kind of backwards to me.

I figure this is probably a long shot, but does anyone know of any PSE providers in the Downtown Ott/Hull area who will be available late New Year's Eve? (ie, late enough to bring in the new year with) Being someone who recently completely quit drinking, I'm just not really feeling the usual houseparty scene this year, plus the family lives out of town, so sadly I find myself without any plans this New Year's Eve, but still would like to bring in the new year with a "bang" so to speak ;) Replies can be sent via PM. I'd have to agree with joeblow, my #1 is also Taboo, but then I'm a mileage minded individual, lol. Almost never leave that place disappointed. #2 would have to be Barefax, even with the more exposed CR I've had some pretty good mileage there, you just have to know how to pick 'em. I think I've turned spotting the few high mileage dancers in an otherwise low mileage club into an artform! :P, #3 would have to go to Barb's, even though I haven't been in little over a year, since the CR changed the mileage has decreased dramatically, plus the fact that someone I know personally started working there makes things a little awkward, but it'll always hold a special place in my heart as my first "regular" SC. A great place, great staff (not just the dancers) and great atmosphere. In all 3 cases, I think it's safe to say that to have the best possible time, weekdays daytime is best. A lot of people seem to be mentioning Pigale's, last time I was there was almost 10 years ago, I've been curious about venturing back but have gotten a lot of conflicting information regarding mileage there, and as mentioned before, for me, the mileage is where it's at! Anyone have any recent interesting mileage related experiences that they would like to share? PM if necessary.

I know what you mean, I live within walking distance of this place and have never heard of it...which tells me it's probably a very discreet looking location. I've been here a few years and have never noticed any place that looks like a MP's studio. Can anyone comment on how accurate and/or recent the pic on the homepage is?

Yeah, that's the "Showcase" every day around noontime all the girls pick a guy in the bar to dance one song for in the bar area (no contact), under the assumption that the guy will then take them into the back for the "Real" dances. There's another Showcase at night (don't remember if it's at 10pm or 11pm). Other bars do the same thing, pretty sure Barefax does the same thing.

Judging from the fact that she hasn't been on here since January according to her profile, I would say retired. I figure even if she was in TO and still active in the industry that she would still venture onto this site once in a while. Not to mention that she hasn't been active on the "other" Toronto site either in over a year.

Clear picture of some dude walking into taboo in the middle of the day. And judging from the photo that could very well be ME! Not too crazy about this. Hard to make a positive ID with that particular photo, but someone who knows you well (a SO perhaps) could very easily recognize such things as style of dress, body language, etc. They wouldn't be able to prove anything (with that particular picture anyway) but it would definetely raise some questions that are probably better left unasked.

Dress for success. In my line of work, it's casual wear. So often on my home from work, if I stop at the club, I'm dressed casually. Not dirty, it's not physical work, but jeans and t-shirt kind of casual. Most of the times the odd new dancer will come up to me, but the majority of the time it's only the girls who've danced with me before and know I'm not a cheap arse who will come see me. But on the few occasions that I've been dressed semi-formally (dress pants as opposed to jeans, shirt tucked in as oppose to hanging out), they flocked towards me. It's sad to say, but just having money is not enough, you have to LOOK like you have money too.

A dancer will ALWAYS tell you it's been a slow night, I don't want to come right out and say that they're lying, especially when I usually go during the day, when it IS pretty quiet. But even at night I've never had a dancer tell me she was raking in the dough, lol.

I have to agree, I approach tipping in a SC as I approach tipping in any other profession. If she went above and beyond what is expected of her, then a tip is warranted. Otherwise, she was just doing her job, and I personally don't extra $$$ just for doing my job, that's what my regular income is for.

Mmmmmm ...Ellie..... Damn I miss that girl, I have had some very memorable times in the CR with her, and even MORE memorable times in the VIP booth right near the entrance, with the curtains pulled ;) Too bad that someone I know from my personal life has recently started working at taboo, I've had to avoid the place for fear of a somewhat awkward run in. Too bad though, I miss that place, and Ellie in particular (too bad she's not a SP on the side) :(. Thanks for bringing me back some fond memories Joe!

The thing I hate worst is when they take it upon themselves to sit down uninvited with you, all smiles and friendly, but the second you mention you are not interested they act like you just spat a loogy into their drink, lol. Thankfully, I find this to be a rarity in my experience. The majority of the time they'll smile and gracefully take their leave. But there is that one bitch out of a hundred gems that really ruins the whole experience for me.

Saw this sweetheart last night, and all I can say is WOW! Guys, if you haven't gotten around to seeing her yet, do yourselves a favor while she is still around. She is one of the kindest and most charming girls I have ever met. Very accomodating to your needs (at least she was for me), with a great sense of humor to boot. I was put at ease the second I walked in the door and felt like I'd known her for years. Like an old friend (with benefits ;) ) I didn't think it was possible for her to look even better then her pics, but boy was I wrong. Model looks all the way, too bad she has no face pics, because she is truly a stunning woman.
