Guilty pleasures....
xmy556 replied to Meg O'Ryan's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Every so often, I need to declare a mental health day. I leave the house like I'm going to work as usual. When I'm on my way, I call work and tell them I'm sick and won't be in today.. then I grab a coffee, head out on the highway with the music cranked.. drive to the Whiteshell Park, stroll through the pines and chill out with ol' mother nature... back home for supper, feeling like a new man!! -
For a good fast walk home from the office, I rely on good old electronic stuff like.. The Prodigy (The Fat of the Land) - Smack my bitch up - Firestarter (a classic!) - Breath - Funky shit The Crystal Method (Legion of Boom) - Starting Over - Born to Slow - Realizer - Weapons of Mass Distortion - High and Low The Chemical Bros. - Block Rockin Beats - Dig Your Own Hole FatBoy Slim (You've Come a Long Way Baby) - Right Here, Right Now - Build it up, tear it down - Soul Surfing something more recent: Martin Solveig - Ready to Go these will definitely get you moving..

Need Some Advice!
xmy556 replied to Soleil Sublime's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
If this happened to me, I'd have a conversation with my lawyer (!). Sure, it costs you, but there is a benefit to having a legal viewpoint on this matter. You had hired a company that is in the security protection business, and this company would not want its reputation damaged by having a problem employee behaving in this manner. An employee in this business may have signed an employment contract that specifies acceptable conduct on the part of the employee. His actions would constitute immediate grounds for dismissal, no doubt. Your lawyer may be able to contact the company in confidence and pursue the matter on your behalf, and could advise you on obtaining further protection for you personally against this creep. Most of us despise lawyers, but it's worth considering.. -

I don't see any harm, overall, to the board if this suggestion were implemented. I would still view the threads posted in the 'General Discussion Area - all of Canada'. I'm sure that there is enough region-specific topic content to justify adding a 'General Discussion - Manitoba' area. What do others think about this??

Life Changing Turning Points
xmy556 replied to Gentleman11's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
maybe out of the time scale specified in the OP's criteria, but here goes: ...having a parent pass away when I was young was a defining event for me.. made me who I am today. ...having a child born very prematurely, and seeing them fight to survive.. and grow into the wonderful adult that they are today.. awesome.. ...turning 50... not so much... ouch... -

Oh, sorry.. what a relief.. I saw the title and thought someone wanted to ban members who said fuck, piss, tits, shit, facefuck...

Absolutely correct. I appreciate the candor and openness shown in the posts by the members on this board. I probably learn more from the posts that I disagree with, than from those that share my point of view. That's a good thing for me. Overall, a very constructive, sex-positive environment that enlightens and educates me a bit more every time I log on. Plus I can see hot pics of real people and cyber-flirt with them... Another board (nameless) that I belong to has degenerated with posts that are more-or-less borderline misogynistic rants, rife with frustration and negativity. Bad scene over there, so I spend more and more time with this little community.

Words you'll never think the same of again

Unfortunately choice of initials for the Canadian Institute of Management.. You too can earn your "CIM" designation! -
I see it way, way differently. WAY Different.. I purchase a bundle of services that may involve fantasy, visual stimulation, sensual touch/response, and, yes, the use of "vag".. but to me, if I was only in it for "vag" I could buy one of those weird artificial "fleshlight" thingys. But that would do me no good, because I need the interaction with that other vibrant soul to get the synapses to light up like nothing else. Sure, its a business. But a very interesting one.

Well said Samantha. While ED drugs can treat the physiological conditions in men associated with the failure to sustain an erection, the ability to get the erection in the first place is often a psychological issue. My physician placed me on Cialis a number of years ago, at my request. In doing so, we had a long discussion about it, and he cautioned me to manage my expectations about the results. True, sometimes it doesn't work as well as one hopes, but the failure is of psychological origin, not just the fact that blood flow from the erectile tissues of the penis were at fault. Mental distractions, stress, guilt, exhaustion, and mostly, thinking too much about the results (erection... ejaculation... orgasm.... ) cannot be addressed by ED medication. It does, however, provide a man with greater confidence in his ability to sustain an erection. While this may be just a placebo effect, in itself this is a benefit for me. As Samantha also suggested, overall physical health is a major contributing factor. For most men, being 10 to 20 pounds overweight, lacking cardiovascular endurance, or losing overall muscle mass, strength and tone is a big obstacle to a healthy and satisfying sex life. All the more incentive to get on that mountain bike and ride!
