  8. I don't necessarily believe I say the dumbest things, but I do realize that a lot of what I say gets lost in translation at times. English from the UK is definitely not the same as english from Canada. There are many words I use that confuse people over here based on the context we use them in. So I have definitely had some odd looks at times from some of the women I've met over here, but fortunately my father is Canadian, so I am pretty used to your style of the language. The entertainment begins when I head south of the border!!! I've spent a lot of time in the US, but there is clearly a language barrier there between us!!! Thank God I'm from West London and not a Geordie or from the Outer Hebrides, there would be some serious communication issues then!!!!

  10. We had this type of thread before, but it's always loads of fun to see what people have on their bucket list! I have been very fortunate enough to this point in my life to have done everything on my bucket list save one thing...go in to space. That is the only thing I have left to do, and hopefully I will get there one day.
  11. You are absolutely right Cato! For whatever reason it feels so much better when you have a woman do it for you rather than doing it yourself. I find it actually relaxes me, which is never easy to do. I'm always on edge, I guess that comes with my former career choice.
  12. Happy Birthday Spinderella!!!! I hope you have one fantastic day luv!!! :D

  16. The Girl Next Door (2004). Starring Emile Hirsch, Elish Cuthbert, Timothy Olyphant and Paul Dano. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0265208/?ref_=sr_2
  17. Mary Magdalene was not a prostitute actually. There is nowhere in any of the four gospels mention of her being a prostitute or a sinner of any kind. In the apocryphal texts, those are the texts that were left out of the bible, she is even a more prominent figure than she is in the New Testament. She should be revered in Christianity as a great prophet.

  23. I would also like to head back to Iceland. Spent just over a week there for meetings a couple of years ago and had a wonderful time!!! Reykjavik is just an amazing city. Stayed in an amazing hotel, the night light is fantastic and I cannot stress enough just how good the restaurants are. Managed to get out of the city on a number of occasions to visit the active volcano's and glaciers. Of course had to spend a bit of time relaxing in the Blue Lagoon!!! It's a hauntingly beautiful country that I would recommend to anyone. http://www.iceland.is/
