Cato, thanks for remembering my thread about PistolPete and good timing of bringing it to light again. Pete has been an outstanding contributor to CERB over the years and it is very important that we show our support to such a distinguished member. He will always be the original CERB ambassador in my view and I do look forward to many more posts and recommendations from Pete. Certainly nice to have you back Pete.

I find that my 1000th post is a bit ironic because it is derived from being recommended by a fellow CERB member that I was a good safe fellow to see. I recently met a great gal that had contacted another hobbyist prior to our encounter for approval. I really had never thought of a hobbyist recommending that another hobbyist was worthy of seeing. I always thought that it was another provider. I have been on this board for over 5 years and I am still learning. Thanks CK Cheers and Happy Hobbying my tm.

Nope, sorry Dan that did not resolve the annoyance/problem. It seems to be caused by the accelerators that are part of IE 8 by what I can figure out. I need to find some way to disable so that it is not pasting the clipboard contents. The main reason I want to rectify this is because I had copied some banking information and then opened a browser window (google is my homepage) and all my personal banking info was on the screen in front of me. I was dumbfounded that this info had just been searched by google on the net. I hope that nothing ever happens because of this, I do not want to be a victim of identity theft and basically be robbed of my finances.

How do I stop Google from pasting my most recent clipboard info into the search box when I open Google? I am using IE 8 If anyone can shed some light on this annoyance it would be appreciated ever so much.

I feel that CL erotic ads had a place in our society. It worked in conjunction with CERB by attracting new members, be it providers that became CERB members and used both mediums for advertisement or hobbyists that were looking for providers that became CERB members. I know that there has been providers that have become CERB members that initially came from CL and have bought or have been bought CERB banners by hobbyists and advertisements on EC. Thus, they can work harmoniously together.

SA over the years you have brought to us many great recommendations from providers that used CL. Which I thank you for. Many you have communicated too that CERB existed and thus they then joined the board. I think with CL being so well known it provided a easy venue for the providers to advertise and I think that in the short term we will not see as many "new gems" or should I say "Ottawa Treasures" ;-) Now I believe that alternate sites will pop up so you/we will be able to find new "Treasures" that we will be able to introduce to CERB.

BERLIN (Reuters Life!) - Challenged with a 100 million euro ($133 million) deficit, one western German city has introduced a day tax on prostitutes to help whittle down its budget gap. The new "pleasure tax" requires prostitutes in Dortmund to purchase a 6 euro "day ticket" for each day they work, or face a potential fine. The city estimates that the new tax will add some 750,000 euros to its coffers each year. "Dortmund has financial problems like many cities in Germany," city spokesman Michael Meinders told Reuters. "We considered several sex taxes but this was the most practical proposal." The new tax went into effect in August but the day tickets have not been available until this week. An alternative proposal was to charge a 1 or 2 euro fee to anyone entering Dortmund's red-light district, but this idea got little political support, Meinders said. Such taxes are not unusual in Germany where prostitution is legal and sex workers must pay tax on their income. Cologne introduced a 150 euro "pleasure tax" on sex workers in 2004 and later added a 6 euro day tax option for part-time prostitutes.

I would avoid having music automatically playing on the website, but if you want music, allow your patrons to turn up the volume at their own discretion. Angela, I can say this from my hobbying experiences and I only do incalls. I have found more often than not, that one cannot see an independent on relatively short notice 1 hr. minimum time frame. Just stating.
