My house was a disaster after a party on the weekend that included cake being thrown in everyone's faces. Time to clean up!

There is no right or wrong way in how an SP decides to go about screening. Personally, I come from the old school way of doing things as well and at the end of the day, a reference just isn't enough for me since it can be a false sense of security imo. One experience with an SP may differ from the next with the same client. Instead, I prefer to go with my own instincts which have proven to serve me well. I will engage the potential customer in a phone call to gain some insight since I do not like booking by email which is too anonymous for me and I don't like booking days or weeks in advance. However, I don't fault others who do ask for references as a way of screening and am happy to provide them. Sharing info is always a good thing. Every SP does it their own way and we all have to respect that. If someone doesn't agree with it, there are plenty of other SPs around that have a different approach of rather than asking for references.

With BP, you definitely have to use your instincts. Listen to how they talk to you and what kinds of questions they ask. You are swimming in a sea of people who haggle, bargin and want you ASAP. BP is comparable to a drive thru type restaurant. Fast, quick and easy. And while it's a gamble, callers hope the product and service is good but not always. If this is not the route you're looking to take in your business then I suggest you stick with other sites. For every 10 guys, you will find one or two good clients who won't haggle or want the world for $80. Stick to your guns on your rate structuring and once they start asking a laundry list of questions, you know they are shopping around. In other words, you have to train these guys to follow YOUR procedures. If they don't like it, too bad for them. This is YOUR life, your livelihood and your health and safety. Don't compromise it when you feel like you're under the gun with them. There are guys who will start asking for the address. Don't give it to them! Instead use one major intersection and get them to call you from there. And make sure you know they are there by asking how close by they are or if they are passing a certain store, etc. This way you know they are in the area. Before cell phones, many ladies would get the guy to call from a certain payphone so you would know they are in the area. Once you seem to get a handle on it, like Deeperconnection said, you can see how transparent some of those guys are. There are other guys from other sites who also use BP and are not the "I have $80 and want it all in a half hour." It really is a mixed bag and I can only equate to like being a waitress in a restaurant. From 11 am -1 Pm, you will have that rush of inquiries and that is the key time of day to make money. Start answering the inquiries but have a filter of what are willing and not willing to put up with. And don't let them browbeat you into haggling with them. Act like you are in control even if you are nervous. Your body, your rules. I've had a few weirdos get really rude and I call them on it. I don't let them intimidate me whatsoever and they take a hint and bugger off. If someone continually wastes your time, do a search on the number if you are a member of a bad date list. I don't keep numbers of clients but I do put the no shows, WOTS in my phone and I also do a search on the bad date list before booking a client. If they are in there, it's a no go. I won't waste my time or compromise my safety with someone who does this. BP can work for you but YOU have to be in control. The biggest thing is to trust your instincts because they are always right. If you don't get a good feeling, you are most likely right. The key with that site is you have to make it work for you even though the site has all different types of escorts and rates. Be in control of what you want and it will work for you. However, I will say that you will constantly be sifting through callers but getting that one gem client is often worth it. I've met a few really good clients off of BP. :)

I stayed at a friend's house one night and they have a parrot who had established a very good vocabulary along with short phrases. We were discussing one really bad dinner when someone we both know cooked for us. It was a disaster since we got sick that night through the following morning. Her efforts were appreciated but frankly it was crap. Worse than my one time bad meatloaf Lee Richards! Later that day, the person who cooked stopped by. Out of nowhere, all we heard was" Xxxxx is a shitty cook." "Xxxxx is a shitty cook." "Xxxx is a shitty cook." ( infinity). There was a pause for a few seconds which felt like an eternity and my friend and I just wanted to run and hide after that moment. Boy, were out faces red!

Top 10 Embarrassing Gadgets You Should Stop Using
Nicolette Vaughn replied to roamingguy's topic in Tech corner
One thing that I will agree on is that the Blackberry Playbook is useless. Everytime I have tried to use it I just want to smash it to pieces from frustration. It just sits here. I'll keep using my phone and netbook. -
Big dark clouds that follow you around wishing they were the sun. Get over it! You will always be a dark cloud!

R.I.P. Larry Hagman
Nicolette Vaughn replied to Nicolette Vaughn's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
J.R. Ewing was the man everyone loved to hate when it came to characters in soap operas. I read in the article posted that he was offered money to reveal who shot J.R. and considered lying about who it actually was but decided not to go through with it. I do remember Dallas growing up and never forgot that scene where the house was on fire and someone had to jump into the swimming pool. Who was that? And remember the other plot with Victoria Prinicipal and Patrick Duffy and something between the two of them and it was all a dream? Can't remember. I've been watching soap operas since nursery school.lol. I was told one of the first names I learned to spell was "Jack Abbott" from Young and the Restless. The teacher thought it was an uncle or something. lol. So when I read that Larry Hagman had died, it was like the end of an era. He was a great actor. I have the first and second season of Dallas on dvd and haven't even watched them yet. I m now inspired to do so. The others are on my Christmas list. -

Real or artificial

I prefer real ones but I also have a small artificial white tree that I put elsewhere in the house with blue and silver ornaments that matches the decor. -

Happy Birthday Emb! Hope you had a great day! -
Cerb started in 2006. It got off to a slow start but because Ottawa didnt have its own board, it looked as though most hobbyists and SPs from Ottawa gravitated towards here. I left the business for a couple of years and when I came back, it had a much bigger following.
