Pathetic bus driver
Nicolette Vaughn replied to jg24's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
I think both people are at fault for this. The passenger who said he is NOT mentally ill ( only mildly autisitc) should have known that he shouldn't have been yelling into his phone like that even if he was reciting for a play for school especially since the material he was reciting was not appropriate. So he is aware of right and wrong especially when he said he was sorry. I don't know much about autistic people ( and I'm not trying to be ignorant given my lack of knowledge on this) but i did see him give an interview on the news and he seems to be well aware of what is going on. The bus driver took it to the extreme and should of stopped at the next bus stop and politely but firmly for him to get off the bus and kept his cool. Because since only 55 seconds were recorded on a cell phone, we don't know if the bus driver was provoked which may have led him to say what he said. Howeverm it is still unprofessional and unacceptable. There are pieces missing in this story and only partly recorded. O.C. Transpo will definitely be sweeping this under the rug. They seem to protect their own. As someone who was yelled at by a bus driver last year in my neighborhood when I was trying to move my car in a snow storm, I see how they think they can get away with it. I had obsceneities yelled at me when he opened the door and told me to move my f*****g car and I told him where to go. I did make a complaint but obviously they are never disciplined so my guess is we won't be hearing anything else about this anytime soon. -
Buying a Car in the U.S.?
Nicolette Vaughn replied to Nicolette Vaughn's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
From what I just read on various message boards dedicated to this topic, BMW Canada will honor the warranty whereas other have said other high end dealers like Mercedes won't. I am going to research it well. I've owned a similar model in the late 90's and it was a great car. I wouldn't hesitate in buying another one if I can get a good deal since I don't want to spend thousands more if I don't have to. -
Buying a Car in the U.S.?
Nicolette Vaughn posted a topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Hi Guys, I am interested in buying a car in the U.S. and the price there is listed for $20 K less for a 2010 model than it is here in Canada and would most likely go further south to buy in 2012. Has anyone ever bought one there and did you go with a broker or do it yourself? I know there is a lot of paperwork involved but I know it would be worth it to bring it up here. Another thing I heard about was having to change the odometer from MPH to Kms and it has to be done at the dealership here in Canada. Is it expensive to change? I am also aware that some car companies here in Canada will not honor the warranty and some will. Thank in advance. http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?ct=c&car_id=309793082&dealer_id=96633&car_year=2010&systime=&doors=&model=328I&search_lang=en&start_year=2007&body_style=COUPE&keywordsfyc=&keywordsrep=&highlightFirstMakeModel=&search_type=certified&distance=300&min_price=20000&rdm=1320332779826&drive=&marketZipError=false&advanced=&fuel=&keywords_display=&lastBeginningStartYear=2007&end_year=2010&showZipError=y&make2=&certified=y&engine=&dma=NASHVILLE&page_location=findacar%3A%3Aispsearchform&body_code=2&isFlashPlugin=true&transmission=&default_sort=priceDESC&max_mileage=&color=&address=37204&sort_type=priceDESC&max_price=35000&make=BMW&seller_type=b&num_records=25&cardist=202&standard=false&rdpage=thumb -
Try a low carb..not no carb... low carb like the Atkins or South beach diet and drink a ton of water. Trust me, it will be gone within a few days. You just need to get the sugar out of your system and you won't be craving it. The third day will be a killer so be prepared for headaches and extreme bitchiness. I am a sugar addict and this is what I do when i need to get sugar out of my body. Once it's gone, you won't crave it anymore and you will have so much energy. When i really get the motivation to lose weight or psyche myself into doing it, I can lose 20 lbs in a month if I really want to and I don't starve myself either. Contrary to what people believe, Atkins method is not about fatty type of proteins or having to eat large amounts and it is not dangerous. It actually brought my cholesterol level down. I'm a firm believer in it and so is this chick. http://sugarfreesheila.com She looks amazing!!

What toys to travel with??
Nicolette Vaughn replied to Lexy Grace's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Good question! I have travelled with a toy but didn't overdo it. I like my dildos and took them with me to other cities but I've come to the conclusion that not everybody is into toys so I let them know they're available and if I don't get a good reaction from it, I just keep them to use on my own time. And speaking of travelling with toys... I also don't take them when I have to go through customs in case they wanted to search the bags while I'm present.lol. I know of a former SP that travelled back from the U.S. and came into Canadian customs at Pearson airport and a female agent searched her bags and found a huge strap on dildo. She brought it to Chicago as she had a few clients who were into BDSM and wanted to be dominated by a woman which included strap on play. The agent's face turned all red and she was noticeably flustered and my SP friend jut smiled and said "I have a high sex drive". She was soon released after that.lol. -
Would you date me?
Nicolette Vaughn replied to JuliasUndies's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
I've been in relationships while escorting and even dated a client or two. While the other person was okay about it, i always felt a bit weird. I didn't discuss my work with them and I would leave it at the front door. Ultimately there were communication problems that didn't even involve my line of work so everything just went awry. Call me old fashioned but this time I'd rather do things the right way. If I end up finding Mr. Right and I truly love him ( and am not testing the waters or anything) I would leave this business without hesitation. And financially, escorting for some time now has been a side act with me. The way I see it if i really care about someone, I can't be screwing other guys. I think in my past relationships while escorting, I cared about them but wasn't "in love" with them and that's a huge difference for me. There was one client that I had a huge crush on and met him about 3 times. There was an instant attraction and chemistry there but I never saw him after that. I always wonder if he will call again. It was weird because I didn't know much about him and felt like that. That was not normal for me. I've always stayed within the boundaries unless the feelings were mutual. The crazy thing is he lives close to me and I see him around town all the time. My SP friend knocked some sense into me and told me he was just a client and to come back down to reality.lol. So I did and left it up to the universe to decide if he were to meet me again. I had to accept things the way they were. And as far as I know he is NOT a cerb member just in case someone else thought I was referring to them. lol. If I met a client and decided to take it to the next level, I'd probably give it a try but on a couple of conditions... he doesn't give me an ultimatum, he doesn't throw my job back in my face and he is not a possessive and controlling type of person. When I witness the above things, I run away... and fast!! Honesty and communication are big things for me and I'm a straight shooter kind of woman. If something is wrong, the other person will know about it. Many times I've heard guys saying they had dated SPs but they weren't willing to give up the money for the relationship. I'm in a position where I don't have to decide which is more important ( money is no longer the driving force for security) and I'm at a point in my life where I will be looking for someone in the near future. I am the kind of person where if my job is more important at a given time, I will not be looking for anyone because it does get complicated and I really don't need bullshit in my life. I do things on my terms and will leave the business on my terms but at the same time when i'm ready to look for a serious relationship then I will be ready to leave my job. It is very easy to find love in all the supposedly "wrong" places. -
I didn't dress up this year so I decided to dress up my orange tabby as Puss n' Boots.lol. All the kids coming to the door love him. OMG!! My cat ran out the front door in his costume when a kid came to the door! I'm sure he'll be a big hit with the ladies in his attire. He better bring me back some good candy!

What doesn't kill you, only makes you stronger. I'll sleep when I'm dead. You snooze, you lose. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. -
Best gift- because it was a brand new vehicle at that time! And a perfect color for Christmas. lol. Okay, maybe not your regular xmas gift but nonetheless someone received something nice in return. Worst gift- a Chia Pet. It was a last minute kind present. It wasn't the present iself but more about the person who gave it to me.

And at least Old Dog did not drop it in the toilet at a restaurant in Vancouver like I witnessed Tori Spelling doing while offering another patron $100 to fish it out for her. At the time (2003 a.k.a. shitty CND dollar) the woman who offered to take it out said "Would that be American or Canadian currency?" lol.

I've always realized that as an SP it is good to have other things going on whether it is employment or other interests so if that topic of conversation does come up, you have a backup to discuss. And it is also good in a personal sense to keep your life balanced because being an SP can consume you to no end if you let it. Yes, not fully admitting to being is SP could be considered a lie by omission to some but once again it does not define who you are and only a small part of what you do for a living. Almost like a second job. It all goes back to what you feel comfortable in telling people but many are not so forgiving and are hypocrites so for many women it is an don't ask, don't tell type policy. Now if you were getting romantically involved with someone, that's a whole different ballgame and you'd have to upfront about it. JMO.

To me, being an SP is like being in the mafia. You don't talk about it in an open manner... Separate friends for separate ocassions and you never let them be intertwined with one another. It really is no one's business. It's one of my multiple streams of income but doesn't consume my whole life either and it certainly isn't WHO I am.

Favourite Autumn Recipes
Nicolette Vaughn replied to Jabba's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Ingredients 4 Granny Smith apples, cut in half 1/4 cup olive or canola oil 1 stick (8 tablespoons) unsalted cold butter, melted 8 tablespoons light brown sugar 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/2 cup granola 1 pint vanilla ice cream 1/2 cup prepared caramel sauce, heated, optional Directions Heat the grill to medium. Place apples in a medium bowl and toss with the oil. Place the apples on the grill, cut-side down and grill until nicely browned. Flip the apples over and continue to grill until nicely browned on skin side. Remove from the grill and allow to cool briefly. Once they are cool enough to handle, core and cut the apples into wedges. Place the apple wedges into a bowl and toss with 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon, 4 tablespoons light brown sugar and 1/2 stick melted butter. In another bowl, toss together the remaining melted butter, cinnamon, light brown sugar and the granola. Place 1 large scoop of ice cream into 4 bowls and top with the apple mixture. Sprinkle the granola mixture over the top of the apple and drizzle with some of the caramel sauce, if using. Courtesy of Bobby Flay from the Food Network. -
Guilty pleasures....

Making fancy cupcakes ( it's my #1 hobby) sitting in my jacuzzi bathtub with trashy tabloid magazines with a cosmo martini, watching old reruns on t.v., buying lingerie online and eating Hallow'een candy. -
My expectation from clients are as follows: I don't care if you don't look like Brad Pitt. Actually I don't find Brad Pitt attractive. lol. What matters to me is politeness and hygeine. Because there is such an exchange of intimacy, cleanliness is imperative. The best thing to do is just be yourself, be kind/ considerate, hygenic, don't overstay your welcome and treat the SP/client relationship just as it is and you will be warmly welcomed.

I just freaked myself out by watching ghost clips on youtube and I'm scared. lol. This is after I went to one of those farms this evening where they have a haunted barnyard and hayride. That was a picnic compared to being alone and watching those clips. I really am scared now and I'm not joking!!!!

My favorite Hallow'een story is about Resurrection Mary the hitch hiking ghost who is considered somewhat of a legend in Chicago. Many people have said they have seen sightings of her and even one this past August. Every Halloween we never forget about her.lol. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oJReMt4sskA. Okay, now I'm too scared to move after watching that.lol. I'll be sleeping with the lights on tonight!

Need Some Advice!

I would call his place of employment and file a complaint but not before luring him into your dungeon in the basement, tie him up and whip the s**t out of him to teach him a lesson. Okay, that would be my evil fantasy for retribution if I were in your shoes but it's unrealistic in the real world. If this dude values his job, he will back off. If he calls you again, tell him to stop calling you and if he keeps contacting you then you have a good case for harassment. Hopefully he will wise up and leave you alone for good. Good luck luvy! -

Happy Birthday Chanel! Although I didn't forget you when I sent you a message on your wall the other day. I will give Angela a spanking for forgetting! lol. See you this evening! xoxo -
When your 3 year old nephew visits for the weekend, you go downstairs after stepping away for a minute and see that he has scribbled all over your basement wall with a crayola marker and not the wash off kind right before you are about to rent the house out to tenants!!
