'Big Sexy' The Show
Nicolette Vaughn replied to Soleil Sublime's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
I haven't watched Big Sexy but it sounds interesting. Another show that is similar and one that I watch is Drop Dead Diva where a model gets killed in a car accident. She pushes a button in heaven and is sent back down to earth in a bigger woman's body who happens to be a lawyer which no one knows about. And what's worse is she is forced to work with her ex fiance who only now sees her as big girl Jane and thinks she doesn't have a chance with him now that she's fat. She also experiences the same kind of treatment as Soleil described in the other show. As someone who has been a bigger girl, I too have experienced this kind of treatment as opposed to when I was thinner. It was like night and day. I tried to not let my weight affect me but being in this business and not being slim can be very trying. I will admit it. I do agree with Liana that if you want to lose weight, the emphasis should be on your health and not if you can get rock hard abs. -
Yes, I remember when Cerb was in its infancy. Literally no one was here at all and Ottawa did not really have a board presence. Well, all that changed... I went away for a couple of years and come back to find a board with thousands of members in all different cities. It's great to be here with such nice members. It's amazing to see how far cerb has come.

Work in Ottawa and rent an apartment on the Gatineau side which is way cheaper than in Ontario, Your apartment could literally be minutes away from the downtown core where there are plenty of fine dining restaurants. That is what I used to do when I was 18-19 years old.

What makes u decide to tour?
Nicolette Vaughn replied to tepic's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
I like to tour for a change of scenery and meet new people. There is nothing like waking up and having a view of the mountains or the ocean, etc. It also increase my overall visibility in the escorting ndustry. Thus increasing my profile as a reputable provider. If I decide to tour like I have done in the past, I always make sure that the tribute I will be charging will be on par with that of my home city or a bit more. I charge $250 an hour in Ottawa, Toronto and a bit more when I went to Vancouver a couple of times. I charged $300/hr in the U.S. when I toured in my earlier days of escorting. If I am going to have to charge less then when I'm in Ottawa, there is no point in me leaving home to make less money and on top of that pay for travel costs. Even the demand cannot make up for this as there will always be cancellations and no shows. I like to go back to cities like Toronto because I have clients there who will see me and even though it's a bigger city with lots of competition, I've never had any problems making money. It's also a short trip to make contact with former and potential clientele. To those who have a problem with touring SPs and higher rates.. If you see a touring SP come to your city, she will not be the same as another SP who lives there and doesn't mind charging $140 an hour or whatever because she works from home and doesn't lose money each time she sees a client. I have also heard some unsavoury things about Moncton and New Brunswick in general but if you are a good client who will show up as promised you shouldn't have an issue. However, trying to get SPs to go there may be a challenge. I remember ladies from other cities used to complain that Ottawa was the no show Capital of Canada. I would like to think that has changed over time. It happens in every city but also take into consideration that some smaller cities just do not have the demand for SPs to visit there and cover their costs at the same time. Remember, escorts are a luxury service and not a necessity in life. We in life afford what we can and have to respect what each lady charges. One cannot expect someone to tour and have the same rates of someone in a smaller city. This is only to be expected if you are in a metropolitan city and then you can charge the same or higher. The market will decide what it can bear. -
If you meet a provider and an accident happens and you ask if she is std free, what is that going to prove? She can tell you what you want to hear but at the end of the day it isn't going to matter unless you yourself go get tested! And speaking of asking if SPs are STD free, I once met a client who did DATY and then had the nerve to ask this a day later via text if i was STD free. he was frantic about it. He said he normally doesn't perform DATY but was so turned on that he HAD to do it. Okay guy, so it wasn't a life or death situation to do this and here you are placing the onus on me. You have to remember that when some guys ask are you STD free aside from an actual accident happening, it is THEIR guilty conscience talking. I told him I was mad and offended. I told him to go get tested. Don't dare turn it around on an SP when you decide to do something you have absolute control over. What a maroon! Additional Comments: Yes. I have heard this firsthand when I first started out as an escort and still hear it on the rare ocassion from an older guy.. "Can I just rub it up against you or stick in just for a minute? I won't cum inside?" When I obviously said no and have to give them a lecture from a 20 something woman to a 60 year old dude, they looked at me like I had 10 heads. Nice way to ruin the mood. I kicked these guys to the curb immediately. Actually some guys think nothing will happen if they rub up against you unprotected yet these are the guys who will cry bloody murder to the escort if she ended up letting him do it and blame it all onher because she is the "dirty one". Ever hear of HPV? Sex workers are more educated on STDS than regular women who have one night stands.

Stalker or dependent personalities
Nicolette Vaughn replied to Jabba's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Silence is golden... they will eventually give up but do proceed with caution. If all else fails, tell your friend to get a restraining and keep documented proof/dates/times that she has harassed/stalked him. -

Congrats Emily! I always enjoy reading your posts! -
Darn, I guess I will not know if my obsessed groupies are following my every single post word for word, day-to-day now. I like to keep them close andhave my eye on them and see what they're up to.lol. In all seriousness though, if someone was ruining someone's business and the SP's safety was in question, that is enough to disable the feature and I credit the Mod for doing so. I hope he will find a way for members to be able to choose to have this function or not. I liked to see who was visiting me.

A Skill I Wish I Had
Nicolette Vaughn replied to Winnipegcub's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
I wish I could snap my fingers ( never could) and I wished I could sing. It's a shame because I do know how to play the piano and I used to dance. I took lessons in both activities from a very young age right until my late teens. -
I completely understand. It seems these days people have no patience at all. Years ago, I once had one guy chase my boyfriend and I down the 174 because he did the same thing as you did and got into the left lane. Because my bf wasn't going fast enough for him ( guy was going 140 )we got off an an exit and were at a red light. He came up behind us at the red light at actually got out of his car and knocked on the window yelling and screaming. My boyfriend got out of the car and actually wanted to take him on he was so mad. I urged him to tell him to f**K off and get back in the car since the light was green. And did this guy actually get any faster where he was going? In short, no! And speaking of fast drivers, I would go out for a coffee run to Tim Hortons in the morning and the way people would roar into the parking lot at 7 am as I was turning from another part of the lot to go out was scary. They would enter and they'd see me turning and they wouldn't even slow down! Someday i will actually drive the parking lot speed as I make that turn and if they hit me, it will be on their head.

I do not consider escorting my main source of income because I am running another business and am doing it full-time but I have the ability to juggle both because I work on my own and from home. I set a schedule during the day for when i see clients and stick to it consistently. Usually I do not work after 6 pm and if i do it has to be scheduled ahead of time and is extremely rare for me to do outcalls. Escorting for me is a way to make extra money for the "wants" in my life and consider it gravy. In the past it was a full-time source of income but I have found my life to be better balanced having another job. Things happen in this business where a client will book multiple hours and end up cancelling so I have never come to rely upon this source of cash as something consistent. The business it has its highs and lows where money is concerned. There have been days where I have not seen any clients and other days where I've had to turn down appts because it was busy or I wasn't in the mood to see anyone else. I don't consider myself a high volume ecort and will work a max of 1-2 hours a day. For the little amount of time, I put into escorting, yes I do consider it more than adequate in terms of being compensated. What I make in a half hour escorting, I don't quite make that at my other job with the hours I put in. When I was escorting full-time, there was always the attitude of wanting to make more because you grow accustomed to making a certain amount and if there is a month where it's not busy, it can have a significant impact on your income. You are not on a salary and there are too many fluctuations especially when you are not getting a regular paycheque. That can be scary especially if you have a lot of financial obligations. Having other income that is consistently reliable is much better if you are a person who has a family to take care of, debts to pay off or a mortgage or extra properties.

The clip on the back of your bra breaks ( it's an old bra and it's laundry day) and you to go change in your powder room wishing to trash the bra in the garbage. The door to the bathroom is open since no one else is in the house. All of a sudden you look in the mirror and see the reflection of your neighbor as he is knocking on the front door. He stands there looking through with a perfect view in the glass and sees you standing there topless!!!! He grins and walks away. Fuccccck!!!! I will never be able to go outside again!!

I always thought he was that crazy older dude seducing a then younger Madonna in her "Deeper and Deeper" video but it wasn't him. I don't know if you could consider him a character actor or not as I'm not familair with his work in the past but I have only seen him in smaller roles. He was funny in that movie America's Sweethearts with Julia Roberts, Billy Crystal and John Cusak. He played some weird film producer. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0265029/ Oh wait!! He is in Madonna's Bad Girl video. -
Jack Tobin Sentence
Nicolette Vaughn replied to Jabba's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
I think overall he has taken responsibilty and shown remorse so far but aside from doing jail time, he will be tormented by waking up everyday and realizing he killed his friend. This will be the real form of punishment for him and no amount of jail time or time served will take that away. -
