Odd way to be indiscreet
Nicolette Vaughn replied to Megan'sTouch's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
When I used to work in Toronto and my laptop was ruined after I accidentially spilled a drink on it, I hadf to go to a downtown internet cafe. When I got on the computer there, a window was left open to a Toronto review board and the guy hadn't logged off!! And you want to talk about being indiscreet? Some dude showed up at a location I had used on ocassion looking for me and he had never even met me according to the person who answered the door and a text that person had sent me hours before. This is a good way to get the door slammed in your face. -

Craigs list... no more "erotic" section?

Angela and I are going to renew our ads on e-c this afternoon. -
I hate to say it but with some of these wanna be sugar bunnies, they are hypocrites. To put it bluntly, if you have sex for money, you are a hooker. You are now part of the club. Sorry if you don't like the term but I have embraced it. Or whatever term you want to use. Many women justify their way around the whole sex for money idea this by saying that the guy took her shopping, bought her groceries, etc. So in essence you are still screwing them for a material item. Same goes for trophy wives. In my mind they are just elevated hookers who hit the jackpot and will probably never have to give another blowjob.loll.

Craigs list... no more "erotic" section?

I am glad to see it go as well. When I came back to escorting last spring, I felt I had no choice but to use CL and I also felt I had to bow to the pressure of offering half hour appts which I had never done in the past. I don't mind them but I felt CL was a step down compared to where and how I used to advertise in previous years. I gave in and waited with baited breath to see the outcome. It wasn't as bad as I thought especially only working in the day time. Nevertheless, I did meet some very nice guys who used CL and have become regulars. They were not weirdos or drunks but I will not miss the incessant calls at 3 am from some intoxicated wassup type guy or the ones who would make fake appts, waste your time and call back 2 weeks later thinking I wouldn't remember them. Yeah right. The shutdown of CL will not stop human trafficking but it will help cut down on places for them to advertise. After having advertised with CL for so long, these outfits will not want to pay for more mainstream adult advertising. This will most likely result in a better prices/rates for SPs and eliminating the whole $80 services which will go back underground or back to the streets or on chat lines as they did in the past. While CL fared out well with the collapse of the U.S. economy as well as some rough times in Canada, I don't think professional SPs will have to compete with women offering half services or 15 minute appts. I predict this will all end. Sure, there may be another free or low rate classified site comparable to the design of CL but as Mod said, no one will make the mistakes Craig's List made. They set a precedent but as you can see many negative things such as a woman being murdered in the U.S. happened as a result of opening the erotic section. Had that section in general been moderated from day one, it could have had a different outcome and perhaps the Canadian Gov't may have not had it out for this site. I came from an SP era where there was no Craig's List so when I had to begin using it, it felt foreign to me and at times frightening. I used to advertise on E-C and another board in Toronto and that's what everyone else did as well. I think a lot of new SPs feel they can't live without CL but having gone without it for many years and then using it, I would rather see it gone. I always knew it never represented the ladies especially services providers who prided themselves on offering a good service and proper presentation to their clients. I felt the whole experience of making a date and seeing client was gone. There were no more emails from clients introducing themselves and gaining a better understanding of the SP through exchanged emails. Some CL clients even though they were clean and polite just wanted a quickie and they were gone. They may have come back weeks later or never again. It was a different way of doing business and I had to adjust to it. So now, the way I see it, is a new beginning for this industry and perhaps it will thrive. There will be alternate places for SPs to advertise and will definitely cut out the rif raff. No more 15 minute appts, no more tire kickers or weirdos who feel they can remain anonymous. I'm sure many SPs will advertise themselves differently as well on such sites as E-C as it does not have a cheap vibe to it. I know I am going to revert to how I used to advertise in previous years. I can recall when the Ottawa Sun announced that they were eliminating their escorting ads and everyone was freaking out. That's when the internet began to take off and Sun ads almost became useless and more expensive. Craig's List was just another venue to advertise on and it is not the be all end all. Prostituition is the oldest profession and I'm sure the clients will find the women and vice versa. Just give it some time and everything will fall into place. Hopefully for the better. Amen. -
You would think that this only represents one person but from the sounds of it, P.E.I. is beginning to get a bad rep. Hope there are nice guys who you can see there Emily. having said that, there are rude and classless guys everywhere. It sucks that many of your emails are like this. I'm sending out positive vibes for you.

I once knew a girl who puked on a client while giving him a bj and he didn't even know it!! I guess her gag reflexes weren't quite developed.lol. She conveniently grabbed her robe that was beside her on the bed and wiped it up as he was just laying there thinking he's having some sort of wonderful experience. She called me in hysterics while I was driving and I almost got in a fender bender because I was laughing so hard.
-
Yes, I was actually about to vomit because a client's hygiene was horrible. I truly felt I was going to hurl all over him. After he left, I puked in the bathroom for more than 5 minutes. Thinking of the smell of "ass" is like witnessing the smell of death. It's the same thing and once it's in your mind and your sense of smell, you can never forget it. Take a shower for God's sakes and don't tell SP's that you don't need one! He is now on my sh** list. No pun intended.

I just can't be wild as I usually am.lol. Take it easy on me people. -
I was going for a coffee this morning and went to get into my car and slipped on a piece of ice and fell on my tailbone on the base of the side of the car door. I don't think I ever screamed and cursed so loud in my life. lol. It's not too bad but damn did that ever hurt!! It's happened once before- exact same incident with the car when I was younger. I think I cried my eyes out the first time. Good thing I am still mobile and have a few advil or tylenol 3's lying around.

What if it was someone you knew?

Right now there is some guy who has been calling me over and over again to see me and I think I know him in another capacity. I also see this guy around from time to time but I don't know him personally. Same name, same voice, young guy. I keep having to put him off which has become a pain. I have to get a hold of the cell number from the person I know in my personal life to see if the numbers match up. Damn, I hate when this happens... -
Willing to bargain... Are you?
Nicolette Vaughn replied to Grass_Hopper's topic in New to this? Things you should know...
Oh yes and don't forget rent, lingere, hair, nails, shoes, cell phones, computers..... This type of service we offer isn't a need, it is a want or you could say it's a luxury service. Be prepared to pay bigger bucks than you would than paying for some other type of service or good. Before you know it, some of these guys are going to want to pay $20. -

Ladies, ladies you don't need to justify what type of education you have to some fool here who thinks you should have a special when there is a snowstorm or when you see a squirrel eating peanut butter. Who cares. We all know there are cheapskates out there who will do this. They are like annoying flies that we have to deal with. If they don't want to pay your rate, hang up. And sure I can do an 80 bj but rest assured you will be out the door in 15 minutes or less and don't try to overstay your welcome or expect me to be a gfe. Ain't gonna happen. Those services are reserved for those who are willing to pay my rate. They will get the best experience. You will have gotten what you paid for and that's it. The cheapskates should learn that lesson and maybe then they will realize that it's more about the experience rather than just "getting off". Perhaps they will savour the moment of being booted out door while enjoy their coffee at the Tim Horton's with the money they just saved. ** Oh and just a side note to the person who told the ladies here to get an education... You said you were sorry for "affending" people here. The correct spelling is "Offending". Need I say more? -
Not allowed to say no?

VJ, You have right of who you want to see and who you don't. I don't think these type of guys taken rejection well. And by changing emails, phone numbers, IP addresses, it just tells you what their motives really are. Also given the fact that they don't want to abide by your screening policies screams volumes. No means no and they should just move on. They should realize they are not your type of client. If all else fails and it gets really bad, threaten to take legal action against them. When an SP doesn't want to see someone, she shouldn't be harassed. This includes serial phone calling. I had a guy call me 18 times in one day and not leave one single message. That is a red flag right there. Another texted the hell out of my phone wondering why I wasn't answering him back. Umm, maybe because I've been innundated with text after text from you within minutes of each other. A grand total of 8 texts in 20 minutes. And because you are a known time waster. If you don't hear back from an SP either she is busy so trying again doesnt hurt but not 10 times in a few hours. If she never gets back to you and you've never ever talked to her, she doesn't want to see you for a valid reason. -
Scratching my head
Nicolette Vaughn replied to Jabba's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
He just seemed odd and suspcious and when you would talk to him or vice versa, he would not look you in the eye. Just stared at the ground. I don't want to get into how I knew him but needless to say, I got a creepy vibe from him. I have met many people who seemed anti-social and this guy was just that. By all outward appearances, he seemed normal and after talking to him, I knew he wasn't. He couldn't really carry on a conversation. My intuition has always been right on and when this story hit the news earlier this year, I yelled to a friend screaming that I knew there was something wrong with him. In hindsight having come into contact with him, the thought of this was scary enough! -

It happened to me a couple of weeks ago. It was a former friend's ex-boyfriend who I hadn't seen in over 10 years. Given the fact that someone can change their looks over the years, I'm sure he thought it was me or someone related to me as there is one person in my immediate family who looks almost identical to me and he also knew them. I no longer look like I did when I was 18 so I'm sure he had his doubts but honestly at first I did not recognize him and then when i thought it might be him, I just played dumb. I never brought it up and neither did he. He was also someone I never really liked because he was a prick to my friend. I don't know if he got off on the whole secenario but who cares... I did my job and he seemed to enjoy himself. -

Some men are stupid plain and simple. I also think some men focus too much on the number of pounds a woman weighs or her measurements. In fact, since coming back to the business, I do not list my weight or waist or hip measurements. I have a 38 dd chest and I have a lot of good pictures that shows exactly what my body looks like. I used to focus on my weight a lot after going from slim to heavier and now even though I have lost some weight, I don't obsess over it. Luxie, don't get upset over what some fool said to you. If I got upset over what guys have said about me over the years, I'd never leave my house. You are fine the way you are. In this business you can't take these comments to heart. Sadly a lot of men look at us as objects or a piece of meat and they are looking for perfection. No one is perfect. I'd love to see what they look like. -

I have had dealings with this guy before and I knew back then something was wrong with him. He was also an arrogant fu*****. He also lived in the same community as I did. I really believe it all goes back to his mother and father. If you research about where they lived in Chalk River, you will find a few interesting details about his parents that may have messed him up for life. You don't just become a serial killer for no apparent reason. The police are still looking into unsolved crimes as he has lived in other provinces throughout the years and interestingly enough, many women have disappeared in the same city where he was stationed. -
You summed up what I had thinking about the last few days after I had seen a regular who I had been seeing for a number of years and it's a closeness that just feels right. In life we meet people we do not expect to meet and what you have between one another will not take to real life, it is still special as other relationships we have acquired elsewhere.

When will you die?
Nicolette Vaughn replied to Megan'sTouch's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
It said I will live until I'm 85. Both of my grandmothers both passed away at 82 and 84 years old.. I have to get my stress level under control as I get stressed too easily. -
I read the book last year and it was interesting. I could not relate to running out of a limo on the way to see a client to buy a $1K pair of shoes or snorting a line of coke to wake up or just get buy but nonetheless, other parts I could relate to. Her picture above makes her look old and haggard compared to 5 years ago. It's sad to see how drugs and other life decisions aside from prostitution can do to a person. .

Ask Service Providers Question Thread
Nicolette Vaughn replied to Origin's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Their personality. If a guy has the personality of a door knob then I would rather have my teeth pulled than talk to him for a minute longer. There is no perfect man. Flaws build character and showing some humility doesn't hurt either. Once in a while but it's one of those things where you realize that this is a business and not to cross any boundaries. And then you say "Next!". Yes, one in particular. He used to taunt me with his postings on a now defunct review board. He was a personna everyone loved to hate including myself. I ended up meeting him without knowing who he was and within 5 minutes I was 98% sure it was the person from online just based on his conversation with me. Trolls need some loving too! Yes. Myself! Okay, not to sound too narcissistic but I have been in and out of the business for a number of years and have learned many, many things about myself. Additional Comments: I used to travel extensively in this line of work and believe it or not, I ended up on a lot of off the clock dinner dates with clients simply due to the fact that I would be bored out of my mind in a hotel room. Now, don't get me wrong, I never encourage other SPs to go off the clock or have clients come to expect it but at that moment after the appt, it happened. They knew that it was a one time thing ( most were guys from the U.S and never saw many of them again). I also went out of my way to meet new SPs in the area where I was travelling. Many of them became good friends of mine. File your taxes and find a good investment advisor. Many hobbyists think we make $500-1000/day and that simply isn't true. There were years for me where it was like that though. Depending on how often you work, an SP can make anywhere from 20K -100K/year. Anything above that is insanely ridiculous to believe or the SP is working herself to death or is a sex slave. I think the average escort income lies somewhere in the range between $40-80 K/yr. There are also a number of variable expenses to be deducted from this income such as expenses for incall locations and maintaining your appearance. This doesn't include personal expenses such as rent/mortgage, car, utility bills. If you save your money, it is easy to retire but most escorts don't retire to the South of France. Lets be realistic. We all have bills to pay, families to take care of. I like to think that we are like other people with jobs, expenses, debts, investments to pay for and deal with. We are not hiding hundreds of dollars a day under our matresses. I remember there were years when I was in the business that it was extremely lucractive. And I always filed my taxes to make it legit. After 1.5 years of being in the business I bought my first house in my early 20's with a nice down payment. Additional Comments: I am strictly an incall gal unless it is at a nice hotel with a regular. I keep a certain schedule and make it a point to be home at a certain time. I love my bed too much! No late night outcalls for me. -
Mark Your Calendars FEB 10th Valentines Social
Nicolette Vaughn replied to ottanon's topic in Ottawa Discussion - Escorts
Angela and I had thought of organizing the Valentine's Day party months ago with this idea in mind but I think it was Ottanon that brought up a good point about being held liable for those who leave intoxicated. The hosts would be responsible to make sure everyone who has had too much to drink to get them a safe ride home or cut them off. I know that this is politically correct but you cannot chase everyone around to make sure of this. Plus if the room is damaged, the person who rented the room would have to pay out of pocket expenses. I would like to attend a party in a more intimate setting like you suggested but there would be a lot of kinks you'd have to work out. Where there's a will, there's a way.
