Surprisingly, there was not a lot of media coverage surrounding this new law and 90% of the clients I see have no idea what the hell is going on so that says something right there. Not a peep as far as I know from the Ottawa Sun and Ottawa Citizen the last time I check online news stories. Toronto and Vancouver Police Departments have said they are making this new law a low priority to enforce. Saw The Judge last week with Robert Duvall and Robert Downey Jr and wouldn't be surprised if there was an Oscar nomination for both of then in the near future. Oh and another big red flag is when I realize someone contacting me has no self awareness. Some try to continue on a texting conversation all day long asking question after question long after I've told them I have to go and have a nice day. Once I bid them goodbye and they keep the questions going esp after I've directed them to my website where it is all laid out or they don't call me as requested, then I consider either a waste of time or someone I don't wish to see. If they can't pick up on these cues from me that I have to go, who knows how unpredictable they might be. I dont mind having a quick conversation but will not be answering every question under the skin with many of them being very inappropriate. That's when they're logged into my phone as a wot. I'm also extending a big thanks to MisterT and Loneskater. It was a great party and it was nice to meet new and also familiar faces. I had a really good time except when I had to leave and make a run for without shoes to my car. lol. Those 6 inch heels killed me tonight! Thanks gentlemen for all your hard work. We appreciate it!

Nando's in Orleans on Innes near Lowes. It's like a Portuguese version of Swiss Chalet and much spicier. Their peri peri seasoned fries are really good!

I go on my instincts 100%. I need to hear a voice on the phone. That's my screening method. It's what I go by and no one prospective client can ever get past my radar. I've booked with people who weren't bad clients in a way that would be considered dangerous nor it was a horrible appt but I know I wouldn't want to see them again for other various reasons. I could be speaking to the most polite person on the phone and they could follow all my instructions but I know within 30 seconds and if I don't get the thumbs up that all is okay, they're not going to be meeting me. And if they don't hear back from me after they've contacted me, it's for a reason. Same thing with wots, serial texters/callers and no shows. It could be the smallest thing that sets off my radar. I am very cautious and it's always the voice for whatever reason. I met someone one time and they sounded like one of those cop voices on the phone. I spoke to him a couple of times and while I didn't get those bells going off in my head, there was something about him. When I met him in person he had a few peculiar things about his personality that sort of showed up during the appt but nothing serious, more like annoying where I've had to repeat myself a couple of times and always be assertive. However, there have been several times where my instincts have said no, no and no. And I always listen to them. For the new ladies, never meet a client if you feel uneasy before meeting. If you are low on money, etc your health and safety are more paramount than a couple of hundred dollars. There will ALWAYS be another client waiting in the wings.

Yeah I've had some things disappear out the bathroom in the past and also things that I know were rummaged through in the drawers so anything is important to me goes into another room. I will keep the tampons in there so they can see them. lol It's unfortunate when there is a lack of trust but I've met some great people who would never do such a thing and then there are snoopy people who I wouldn't trust to leave alone. I once caught someone going through the nightstand at my old location as well. Not that there was anything in there as I don't keep anything around I don't want anyone to see but still it's the principle of the matter. With the deorderant, I buy it for clients in such situations who have to go back to work in the middle of the day and don't have it on them.

I miss my cat who cannot live with me because he always likes to go outdoors. At least I still get to visit whenever I want but not having him at the end of the bed sitting there or playing with my toes through the blanket is something I really miss. :(

For my clients I buy unscented Jergins bars of soap that come in a 12 pack at Wal-mart. They are about $3.00 a pack and about a little smaller than the old style bars of Ivory soap. Sure, it gets used once and thrown away but if it's for their discretion, I figure that's what they're paying me for. For the deordorant, I buy the Arrid Extra dry aerosol at Walmart as well for about $2.50. It doesn't really have a scent to it. Actually it's the same one I use. lol.
