I'm changing my website around in the wake of bill c 36 and the changes that will be taking place on Cerb in regards to not advertising certain things. What about the terms "girlfriend experience" and "erotic"? Can these still be used on my site or will they be considered a no no? I am trying to describe the type of session I offer and gfe is what it is. I also offer massage and the term erotic has been used since as long as I can remember.... even before some ads became very blatant and straight forward. Thank-you in advance for your comments.

As someone who is also very experienced in this business, my advice is not to get cocky and think you're the best in terms of headlines when it comes to advertising. I see this all the time in other advertising venues and it really does say a lot about the person promoting themselves that way. Being "the best" is very subjective and an SP will never entirely convince the masses.. While it is always great to appear confident, being egotistical and arrogant will not viewed favorably especially if you need to network with other SPs or wish to have certain resources available to you as time goes on such as being part of a private SP area. Reputation and professionalism are two of the most important qualities to have in this business. Not only do these qualities matter when it comes to clients but also how your fellow SPs view you as well.

Agreed! More like #morallegislationbythecons. We are just pawns in a bid for them to win the next election. This will be another shit mess to clean up in the next 5 years when they finally get voted out because people are so sick of their right wing bullshit ideology. -

It really does baffle me that some people think they are safe with the existing laws now. What about being found in a bawdy house? Point being is that most people visiting SPs have ALWAYS taken a risk in one form or another which could have also turned their worlds upside down and no one seemed to care. Only difference now is a criminal record will be in place to make it official. The only thing that is going to change is that people are actually going to have to do their research. Many have been become very complacent and have also taken chances in meeting women they have no clue about. They see an ad and call. You don't know what's waiting for you behind that door. So why all of a sudden now? If a person takes the time to do some actual research, there won't be a problem. Business will carry on as usual. -

Just because there are certain amount of hours in the day and that you could be available doesn't always mean you should be. We are not machines and I have my own personal quota of how many appts I wish to do in a day. When I meet my quota, I tell people I'm booked for the day. It's also no ones business how many appts you do in a day. They probably assume I'm very busy but truth be told as a seasoned SP, I have built up a lot of regular clientele over the last few w and there are days I dont advertise. I don't wish to burn myself out. Always know that tonorrow is another day. This is a good thread and I will post more as they come to me. Posted via Mobile Device

When you feel uneasy about a client and your instincts are telling you so, listen to them! They are never wrong! If you don't feel right about meeting someone, there is always another client that will come along. I have declined many appointments in my time and have never regretted it. At the end of the day, safety and feeling comfortable take priority over money.

Chanel is my best friend and I've known her for 20 years. I've recently asked her to join Cerb since it's a great place and also in the event she does come back. I asked her if she would be interested in coming to the Xmas social. -
Racism from Providers
Nicolette Vaughn replied to LisbethNova's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Thank-you. I have seen this before on that site too many times over the last few years and I cannot believe that all women could be so racist. From what I have witnessed over there, this isn't even about racism at all where the SP is concerned. It may be more of a territorial issue where some men may not be welcome. It happened to a client of mine and he is black and was refused at the door. I explained to him the possibilities of why the appointment was declined and he was then able to move on from it. Yes saying that in an ad definitely comes across as racist but I think in many of these situations it goes way beyond that. I don't want to expand on my theories and don't want to generalize but some may not even be making their own personal choices as to who they want to see and don't want to see. -

SP seeking advice from other SPs

Yes, I agree with Alexxxis. You took the words out of my mouth.lol. I would rather be discrete in exchanging communication with the client as she mentioned to keep the client safe. After all, aside from services, clients are paying for discretion. That is what I have always given them and will continue to do so. Why would I put my clients in jeopardy for the sake of being able to discuss certain things? I will cover them because these are my clients and how I make my living. The customer comes first in this situation. Pun intended! -
SP seeking advice from other SPs
Nicolette Vaughn replied to xxxAxxx's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
When I first began as an escort there was none of this menu b.s. Clients were actually interested in the mystique surrounding the SP. Services were still important but was secondary. Most did their research on review boards and perhaps a few exchanges between a member who had seen the SP and the person wanting to meet her. Most SPs had websites and invested in themselves where marketing and advertising was concerned. This is where things have changed. As someone else mentioned many have become complacent with the fact that al they have to do is look up a classified ad where in a lot of cases it is all laid out. In the early days hobbyists took more time and invested in seeing an SP including paying higher fees. There were no singular acts or get in and get out service where services are heavily focused on. This is where things have changed. It is no longer about companionship for many. In a lot of respects and coming from a seasoned SP, without a menu SPs who are were used to having one are going to have to focus more on selling companionship and not so much the services they offer. We as SPs are literally going to be selling ourselves and not through the types of services we offer. Expect to invest more in website and advertising. They are going to have to explain to potential clients why they should visit them. It's time to get creative. If an SP can do this, they will be able to adapt to the various changes this industry will go through. Posted via Mobile Device -
new prostitution bill
Nicolette Vaughn replied to VedaSloan's topic in Legal discussion, cases & questions

I agree with Meaghan. It just means no longer calling ladies on the fly especially the unknown ones. While there has always been a risk of meeting SPs that aren't well known, do your research ad they used to do in the early days of review boards. If you feel leery of someone advertising that you don't know and can't get any legitimate Intel on them through reviews, other members then steer clear. New ladies have to start somewhere at some point but it will be up to them to prove they are reputable, not shady or law enforcement. The best way to know a client or SP isn't law enforcement is to engage in a hug or kiss upon arrival or ask them to get more comfortable by taking off their clothes. LE will NEVER engage in any these things. Always place the donation on the table and then proceed. Money is not exchanging hands and do not discuss anything sexual until you are both naked and physical contact has been made. This is how I used to do things as a new SP and still do.
-

Chakra clearing and cord cutting always works for me from people with bad energy, psychic vampires who are mentally and emotionally draining or stressful situations. Posted via Mobile Device -
My cat jumped a Doberman last week while he was crossing the street as I wad pulling into the laneway. He is an outdoor cat. I got an earful for that one. I guess they never saw a cat who has enough balls to confront a big dog like that. Another crazy cat I have who likes to attack dogs. All the cats I've had were or are nuts except for one. He was the submissive for the other two who used to beat on him daily just for shits and giggles. Posted via Mobile Device

Turn-offs for a lady
Nicolette Vaughn replied to Exotic Touch Danielle's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
My apologies if it sounds like I'm preaching to the choir or I sound frustrated or bitchy. I've rarely had problems with cerb clients but I'm sure it's interesting to read to get an inside view on what we deal with. While I enjoy being an SP, nothing is perfect. Here is my latest.. A client an SP she has seen once and asks for a discount because they want to be a regular. To be a regular is shown by actions, not words. If a person really wants to turn an SP off, just say the above and guaranteed she won't want to see that person again. Posted via Mobile Device Additional Comments: If a person doesn't confirm my rates then that's a huge red flag for me. When someone contacts me, I'm processing their words Nd actions very quickly. Turn-offs for a lady
Nicolette Vaughn replied to Exotic Touch Danielle's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Don't try to make eye contact with me while you're having a cigarette and mouthing words and glaring at me in the bank parking lot when I'm on the phone sitting in my vehicle. This is happening all the while your wife is sitting in the car. And to add insult to injury, she caught you last month when you were careless in deleting your texts and she happened to text me pretending to be a potential customer where I ended up being very nasty to her. I never gave him up and never will and now drawing more attention to himself. Where the hell is your sense of discretion and respect to your wife? ....pretend we never met each other. Left a very bad taste in my mouth. -
One other thing I forgot to mention is if an SP has met you before and she doesn't have you in her phone and doesn't remember you, dont take offense to it. It has happened to me a few times. If ladies keep track of clients it's to remember who you are for next time. I always tell my clients to delete texting history and phone numbers. Posted via Mobile Device

Turn-offs for a lady
Nicolette Vaughn replied to Exotic Touch Danielle's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
I agree with the "Hey" "Yo" and "What up?" texts are a turn off. It indicates to me that they are young. I'm not really into anyone under 25. It makes me feel weird because I'm more in the mature age range and I have met younger guys but can't get into it. I know some young guys like older women but its just not my thing. Anyways, not to get off topic but those texts indicate immaturity to me. Eventually they will grow out of it but a simple "Hi" is a better way to introduce yourself. Posted via Mobile Device
