In this market (Wpg) and I'm not sure about others it can be tough at first. New girls attract attention and if there's positive buzz even more so. There has been a history of jealousy when a new girl arrives on the scene and is popular right off the bat. We know there have been at least a couple quality providers who were forced out of our market or retired because constant harassment, cancellations, no shows and even being outed to family, friends and landlords. As much fun as it is to be the popular new girl, lots of stuff can come with it. It can get heady so don't over reach and as weird as it sounds don't draw too much attention to your self. My experience has shown this can be a lonely, isolating game and achieving/maintaining a life balance is critical. Good Luck! Peace MG

Emailed a long time and highly regarded provider who I've known for many years and asked for her thoughts on Bill C-36. Got back a what's that message. I provided a bunch of links and suggested it would be good to become informed quickly. (I also suggested that they could be a bunch come out the wood work over the next 30 days as some scramble seeking a safe haven). It surprised me a bit but then after thinking about it, it really didn't as the numbers of uniformed players out there is huge and most probably the majority by a long shot. That's where the game is going to get most interesting when the uniformed on both sides walk smack into C-36. While all the boards have had extensive discussions about C-36 with many many opinions the reality they still represent a small percentage of overall industry participants. And the stick to reputable providers idea well obviously a good thought, for folks who aren't on the boards how would they even know who is a reputable provider is? Interesting times indeed. I suggested to some one today that their phone and email will likely explode over the next 30 days as folks scramble to get contacts set up prior to December 6. This presents an opportunity to cull the herd as it were and be able to be more selective and able to re-enforce booking and reference rules. Peace MG

The overwhelming majority of players both sp's and clients don't belong or participate on the various boards and I dare say some of have no idea C-36 is even coming down or what it might or might not mean. So obviously there will be some casualties and I assume ignorance will not be excused. There will be media coverage on the initial arrests and disposition of the charges for sure. Once that happens and a clearer picture is available there will be a further review of participation for some. Each individual will measure the risk/reward based on their personal situations. Whether it be career related or life related. Opinions expressed here are just that......opinions as no one knows for sure what the level of law enforcement will be and the ramifications of same. I respect the whistle through the grave yard types even though personally I think some of of it is a bit of bravado and even a little naive and I also respect the very concerned types whom might come across as a little paranoid or jumping the gun. In any event times they are a changing and there will ultimately be a new normal and how long that takes is really anybodies guess. Peace MG

Like most men it's the visual that initially gets my attention. Not a glamour guy at all, prefer the girl next store type who is bright and funny yet maybe a little ditzy and maybe a little shy. Some one who perhaps didn't attract a lot of attention when they were younger but blossomed later and are not egotistical about their looks and appreciate the attention. A look I can't really explain but I know it when I see it. Hippy-ish natural girls are appealing for sure. After that it becomes a communication thing. Reco's or reviews don't interest me a lot especially when it comes to looks I'll use them to weed out bait and switchers or to confirm visuals are current but after that I don't find them useful. It's always a chemistry thing any way. So not real specific at all lol and explains why I don't see many and often take my sweet time. Peace MG

Boy, it sure reads that clients are a real problem..... To be a little fair though any one whose been involved in the game for awhile has seen how the discussions and ads have changed and lots of them are much more open and graphic about services, rates etc. Might be because of competition but who knows, even the Shout Box on here has changed since it's inception and is often very graphic about services offered. Any one newish to the game this is the only model they've ever known. As long as it's balanced for every one then fair game and those who choose to play will. Peace MG

For me personally, with all the confusion and speculation my course of action will likely be that come December move to the sidelines for 6 months or so and then get the lay of the land. I'm not the brightest bulb so I'm not sure I've read some of these posts correctly. The jist I get is no one or few keep a client contact list. So I see some one and if I contacted them again they'd have no idea who I was and wouldn't have saved emails addresses or cell phone numbers? Seems unlikely to me. Not familiar with boards other than Cerb and Perb and joined both around the same time. Cerb- more like social media (facebook with more nudity), central Canada centric, SP friendly, reco's versus reviews interestingly have only met 1 or 2 SP's directly through Cerb. Perb- western Canada centric, a little rougher, client friendly, reviews versus reco's and have saved a bunch of cash because of this, also have only met only 1 or 2 SP's directly through Perb but avoided a bunch. Both boards have pro's and cons and seem to have lots of members though the vast majority lurk and each have a small group of dedicated posters. Overall though these boards represents a small percentage of those who are actually engaged in the game. Peace MG
