I admit that early on I found it difficult to read reco's for someone I'd seen and repeated with. To perhaps deal with my own guilt and insecurities I strove to be a "different" type of client and by doing so I hoped I would be viewed differently. Reading others reco's intimidated me in that not only did it point out that wasn't special or different but also made me feel that my performance wasn't up to snuff as it were. After getting emotionally burned a time or two I came to be able to put the game into perspective because a very well regarded SP unwittingly crystallized it for me. Time was never an issue with us and after conversations were wide ranging and one time she asked me why I wasn't a f/s player, my response was that I was intimidated by what I read of these studs whose performances seemed to set a standard I'd never achieve and I didn't want to disappoint anyone. She smiled and said don't believe everything you read. Other chats helped me understand that I wasn't (my words here "different") and was pretty much like a lot of other clients and her job was to make me feel special or as she put it I'm a prostitute and you pay for that. It's much easier for me to read reviews and reco's now without feeling jealous or insecure. I do think more than me have struggled with this issue and it was good thing to resolve for my own peace of mind. Peace MG

For awhile now I've thought women should run the world, I'm sure they'd do a much better job than men have. Men have run things since beginning of time and quite frankly I think men are exhausted. Change it up I say..... I for one happily step aside. 1.) Not in the least, I've seen lots of women in the Board room, very capable and quite a bit meaner too. 2.) Pick up the tab....sure 3.) I know several very successful women, business and other-wise 4.) I have no issue or problem competing with any one. 5.) I'd expect it's better but I'm not a woman. Peace MG

My hair was thinning and at the time I was playing a lot of baseball and didn't like wearing a hat and sunscreen became a must so I shaved it off, liked it and it suits me. Because I wear black cloths I've got the biker/poet thing happening. Sunscreen first thing and good to go and my head browns up nicely. But truth be told if I could I'd have shoulder length hair. I do love technology and the unlimited possibilities of it even though as a vintage player I am just nibbling at the edges. I tend to write the same way I speak and appreciate word play and because subtlety can be lost electronically I am much more succinct and direct than I would be during a face to face conversation. I like twitter for this reason, one must learn to be succinct with 120 character limit :) Peace MG

Manners is a pet peeve of mine so I make one contact (always friendly and polite) and if no response is forthcoming in a reasonable time I simply move on. No one is that special and it makes no sense to me to chase one's own tail... as it were. Peace MG

I like the 45 min option, no need to occupy someone's time for any longer in my view. I'd like that option with indies too as for me an hour is too long and a half can be rushed....which can be a good or bad thing lol. Peace MG

I was invited to see a special needs class perform the musical Grease. Those kids with their unbridled joy, excitement and pride was truly inspiring. They had a ball !Their grandparents and parents were so pumped! It was very cool. To me it was a good reminder of what it's supposed to be all about...... Unbridled joy, excitement and pride. I've got a couple of great leg scars. I blew out an achilles tendon and have a surgery scar that runs from the bottom of my heal to about mid-calf and this is 70's technology. I had one of the first ACL reconstructions ever done in Winnipeg in the mid-80's and there was no arthroscopic option then, open incision scar from just below my knee to mid thigh. Same leg, so it's a beautie :) I could have been in the movie Crash lol Peace MG

Visual attraction first for sure, then some one who is willing to engage with me a bit and if they don't I move along. As it's a want to vs need to, I do tend to take my time. I do read the reviews and recco's on the boards and often to see other Johns actions and attitudes. There's not much new for me now so it's all about chemistry and at this point I know what I bring to the dance so if some one is interested fine......if not that's fine too. Peace MG
