Marriage vs living together
mrgreen760 replied to a topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
30 years in, not married. Makes no difference as assets are co-mingled. A split would be just like a divorce. Peace MG -
Tell me it's normal
mrgreen760 replied to ricknotdeadyet's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Pretty normal I'd say, especially early on. Good providers can make one feel like they are the centre of the universe which can be confusing. Sort of like people who have affairs and ultimately end up together often find the stolen moments and special times are very different than a 24-7 365 routine and the fantasy quickly wears off and they flare out. Balance is the key. Peace MG -
Sunny Days and C-36...???
mrgreen760 replied to mrrnice2's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
"I feel the reason the whole C-36 debacle isn't garnering much attention is that it's somewhat of a hot potato.... no one really wants to handle it" The backroom guys and gals will decide whether it's an issue that has traction with the electorate at large and if there's nothing to be gained they'll keep their head down. Pot is a whole other issue and even though there's much more traction with the electorate I don't expect much concrete to happen until 12-18 months out from election. If they were serious it would be decriminalized now. In the end it's politics sunny days or not. Peace MG -
M.I.A. Missing in Action
mrgreen760 replied to mrrnice2's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
"To everything, turn, turn, turn. There is a season, turn, turn, turn" Everything has their day and folks look to something new and different. Like any business new blood is critical in order to survive. The challenge will be to give them a reason to participate. Peace MG -
Married Hobbyists and/or SPs
mrgreen760 replied to Happyman8's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
I'm not married but wear a ring on that finger as it's the one where my very unusual ring fits best. I also have a band shaped ring I wear on the right hand that looks more conventional and could be mistaken for a wedding band. The times when the ring comes up is people asking me what it is. Socks during intercourse
mrgreen760 replied to Irlaffy's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
My all time fave...who used to put a pillow at the foot of the bed for me to kneel on... didn't give a crap if my socks were on or off ;) Peace MG -
I'm currently an Executor of a fairly large estate. It's a serious job and time consuming. Be sure to fully understand the responsibility involved. That being said this estate comes with a little bit of what some may view as controversy others wouldn't. When asked, I read the will and offered no narrative at all and agreed provided he sit down with the named beneficiaries and walk them through it so if there were issues they'd arise now and could be explained and not down the road when I could be left to explain them or be asked to explain them. Once that was done I was good to go. There could still be an issue but I can at least say......"you were told and had the opportunity raise concerns then"... now I am legally obligated to act on the deceased wishes as outlined. Peace MG

Hotel vs home in call
mrgreen760 replied to Rambler1980's topic in Escort Discussion for Nova Scotia
Home in call is always my preference. Hotels seem cliche to me. Peace MG -
Men - What do you like?
mrgreen760 replied to TorontoMelanieJolliet's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
With me, what you see is what you get. I expect the same in return. I'll only visit with some one I've communicated a bit with so I have a sense as the kind of person she is well in advance. Only natural hippie-ish girls next door types need apply. Peace MG -
10 men arrested in Winnipeg prostitution investigation
mrgreen760 replied to Meaghan McLeod's topic in In the news
Sort of surprised this hasn't happened more often in regard to hotels. Doesn't seem to me it would be hard to figure out what was happening just by the volume of towel use alone. Hotels have never been my comfort zone and have rarely partaken in visiting any one using one. Peace MG -
No one under 30, other than that just expect the stated age to be within a decade. Peace MG

Leading a Double Life
mrgreen760 replied to someguy's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Life is a journey and I think we're constantly changing and evolving. What I am today won't be who I am tomorrow. So by and large what you see is what you get. In my case discretion is important but if we met at a dinner party or a grocery store or any where else for that matter I'd look, dress, speak and act the same. I'm open, curious and friendly and people seem to be drawn to that. Peace MG -
There are obviously large numbers of people who are angry and frustrated with the political status quo. His appeal shockingly is crossing all demographics not just the red neck, racists and uneducated as folks are want to blame. Folks are pissed, particularly the ever shrinking middle class and cynical and no one was listening, well they're listening now. Personally I thought it was a lark to promote his brand and he would be long gone but here we are. If he wins it fair and square so be it, if he wins it and they try to take it away at their convention then all hell will break lose. I think Clinton (and she brings her own baggage) gets the democratic nod and if it's him she had better get ready for an ugly in the gutter street fight, because if he ain't afraid to go after the Pope nothing about her and Bill (Monica) will be off limits. Regardless the republicans will never be the same party which might not be a bad thing in the longer term. I think HC prevails and maybe even smokes him or another nominee...... it won't be dull that's for sure. Peace MG

Outright false pictures or stolen pictures are a problem for sure and how about dated pictures that are 5-10 years old or some one magically not aging sort of like Benjamin Button actually getting younger. Even legit sites have these issues. I get that ageism is challenging in a visual first industry and updating photos regularly can be costly but there are some that are not even close and perhaps rely that newbies will have no idea of their accuracy. I am semi-retired in that I work part-time out of boredom not necessity. I held management positions for most of my career and while not provided with a pension I built my own and well not wealthy by any means I have enough to see me through. My issue is boredom, I have no kids and no real hobbies and my reason for living is a decade younger and not ready to retire so I need to fill time. I work 10-15 hours a week at a minimum wage gig and work with about 20 or so others in a similar situation so it's more social than financial. I do know some folks, teachers and some Feds and other Govt types who have taken their full pensions or even early pensions and then substitute or take on contracts which I'm not sure is fair in that they do potentially block others from "getting in" particularly new grads. I don't feel doing my gig does this. The baby boomers have changed the face of what retirement is for sure and for some it is working for survival and others it clearly isn't. The boomers will also likely draw pensions for more years than previous generations. Interesting question though. Peace MG

I know a woman who is working toward being a sexual surrogate as part of a therapy team. I had seen The Sessions (huge Helen Hunt fan) and asked it this accurately portrayed what a surrogate is. Her response was that it was a pretty close representation. She would see herself as part of a team and that the relationship is not an ongoing one. I found the film quite clinical in nature which seemed to be the point she was making when explaining it to me. Peace MG
