"Am I exploiting or am I helping"? Personally, I ponder this every single time I even contact someone. It's long been a conundrum for me. Being a sex worker is not easy and I've learnt that it can be very isolating for some, not all but some for sure. I'd like to think that being a good guy and a reasonable, fair and grateful person to meet with will make up for it some how. But I can never be entirely sure I'm not at least abetting the exploitation of another. It does give me pause.. Peace MG

Fabulous thread and it should lead to some spirited debates and differing points of view. Looking forward to it. No system is perfect and it wasn't that long ago that a great many in world celebrated the tearing down of the Berlin wall as the symbolic of the end "communism" as we knew it. I used " " around the world communism as it certainly wasn't the system of Karl Marx. It's not only CEO's of multinationals that can be perceived as greedy. One can take a ride through most suburbs in most NA cities and see how greed or want has ballooned to unsustainable and unrealistic proportions. 2-3,000 and more sq foot houses with 2-3 car garages and all of them filled to max with newest and best disposable items. On one hand I could rage against untold consumerism but I don't. Most households require two incomes to feed the need.. I just chose to live my life differently. I live in an 865 sq foot house which is smaller than most apartments. No kids. We grow food that sustains us for 5 or so months of the year. There is one car, it is a Lexus but it's a 1997 Lexus purchased when it was 8 years old. The household income is well in excess of 6 figures and I could easily afford to live that life style. I chose not to simply because I don't want to be bound to something I don't want to do. To me it comes down to personal choices and personal responsibility. I see no point in the occupy protests. If they are really serious...they'd go occupy the first nations communities that continue not to have access to potable water. Peace MG

I think this was the classic case of making the error of drawing a little too much attention to ones self. It became fairly high profile at one point and other "licensed" buisnesses might have complained about no license or other municipal fees being collected as well as being pissed about losing clients and of course revenues. Once pandora's box was open as it were, then everything cascaded. A good reminder that loose lips sink ships and never ever talk publically about how good business is.... as it might breed jealousy and resentment. If it's true I would never condone minors being on premise in anyway shape or form. Peace MG

Personally, I've never viewed this as a community. This board is a tool like any other board is for the tool kit with the goal to try to ensure one has as an enjoyable experience as possible. Isn't that the whole point? Do we have something in common? Sure we do. A place for buyers of and sellers of services to meet and learn about each other. Other than that??? Peace MG

I've been told more often than not that it is time that I'm paying for not the service(s) I'll receive. So I expect to pay for length of time I book and of course pay it upon arrival. If I cut it short or it sort of feels like "times up" and it's not an hour or whatever time I paid for....oh well....I don't request a reduction... Peace MG

If I decide so see some one my expectations are high otherwise I won't bother. I'm a free enterpriser so a sp can charge any rate they want to and I'm ok with that. Doesn't mean I'm buying at that rate necessarily but it's the sp's perogative to put their own value on their service. I do have a budget and won't consider a provider that miles outside my price range anyway. Menu lists are things I don't really care about because if I've done my screening/homework properly then it doesn't really matter as I already know what to and not to expect. It will roll out organically from there. Peace MG
