I was in my car and had just arrived at my and the news reported a small plane had hit one of the World Trade Centre Towers. By the time I got to my office and turned on the TV, all hell had broken loose. My office faced north toward the airport and all of a sudden many many planes most with logos and markings that were unfamiliar to me were landing one after another. In 1980's I had eaten in Windows on the World and knew the area pretty well. I was to fly to TO on 9/13 and obviously the threat was over and I wasn't affraid to fly. But we saw all the people stranded in airports and felt weird about showing up for some fun, so we gave up our rooms so others could use them and Air Canada refunded our tickets. In other bit of trivia I had flown to TO mid-August and was invited to join the pilots for the arrival. Very cool and I was likely one of the last to ever get to do it. Travel has never been the same :(. Once again the minority has spoiled it for the rest of us. Peace MG

The one hour before text or call confirmation with no answer/response is the worst and frankly these days I think 50/50 might be a bit too generous. It particularly sucks because we prepare as well, we clear our schedules, some clean up as it were and while I do get someone not being into it on any given day and for a variety of reasons, at least be polite enough to cancel.... And to show I'm fair :) I think that clients who no show without calling or texting to cancel are the worst as well.... Peace MG

Poor service is indemic in today's society as we all know, whether one spends hours on the phone being told mechanically how important you are to said company, or not being able to find a clerk to provide any assitance and on and on and certainly this game has not been immune to it. For this reason I have reduced my participation and have found it much less frustrating than chasing my own tail. I concur that some of the "reviews" on the other erb can be over the top, but I'll say this more than a couple of "train wrecks" have been outed which in the end is good for all involved. Nathalie, I read it before you re-evaluated. And I was going to comment that I couldn't have said it better. I struggled with it early as I'm sure lots do. Both parties are extremely vulnerable and emotions can and do run high. Afteral if you see someone more than a couple of times you must like something about them. Balance is the key to everything and finding ones balance here is pretty crucial. Though a little confusion once in awhile has some merit. Peace MG
