  1. I'm in the "green" game and have been for more than 20 years. I've been in the middle dealing with politicians who see green as self serving, industry who don't want their bottom line effected but want to be seen as green, consumers who want the utmost in convenience and eco-groups whose clout comes and goes. It's been a huge eye opener in many ways. When the economy is roling green rises up the opinion polls, when the economy is suffering green falls of the radar screen... and whether it's legit or not..when's the last time you heard the word Kyoto?? I'm a pragmatic environmentalist and while some initiatives make a bunch of sense, some do not and are only corporate green washing. A product that touts it's greenness isn't always the most enviromentally superior choice like all the "pink" products promoting breast cancer awareness aren't always the healthiest choice. Green was the new black.....now it seems it's the new beige... Peace MG
  2. I like to change mine.....just for fun :) Peace MG

  4. Well that explains it!! He must be getting all the women :( Peace MG
  5. It illustrates that life is so short and can end in an instant. A reminder that the bs we can be so upset about is in the end...kind of a pointless. Laugh a lot, love a lot and live a lot. Peace MG
  6. It did take me awhile to wrap my head around it but for me it's a business relationship first and foremost, a naked one perhaps :) but a business relationship just the same. No more and no less and once I came to that realization....I'm ok with it. Peace MG
  7. If I think there is even a remote chance that I might know some one, I'll send my pix. Also gives the woman a chance to change her mind and run for the hills :) Peace MG

    pretty girl :)
  9. An Ottawa winter is nancy-ish compared to Winnipeg (coldest ave temp of any "major" city in the world) and if the cold doesn't kill you the mosquitoes in the summer just might :) Peace MG
  10. Fortunately economic circumstances really doesn't affect me. That being said my activities have been reduced in the past year mostly because I've gotten a little bored overal with the "game". Might be a phase or I just might be nearing my best before date :) Either way I'm cool with it. Peace MG
  11. I look quite a bit like Bryan Cranston (Walt) from Breaking Bad......especially with the black hat and sunglasses. Peace MG
  12. One of the advantages of being ahem a little older is that most of my friends are not technocentric, I'm the only one who tweets and stuff so it's rare that a device even goes off when we're hanging out. That being said i do love a day alone and have ones where i don't speak to a soul, those are cool! If i'm out and about I'm not rude about it and smile at everyone i pass by as long as i'm not doing any commerce it's pretty easy. I also day dream a lot and can be empty-headed when working out. I'm very social but enjoy a balance. Peace MG
  13. I wear only black clothes... I read a newspaper front to back in order if some one has a section I'll wait rather than read it out of order... I eat natural plain yogurt, blueberries, flax and bran for breakfast every day... I can become emotional when discussing meat... I strive to be underestimated... Peace MG
  14. It gives a whole new meaning to the clean and jerk :) or the snatch for what that matter. Peace MG
  15. Personally I don't see anyone that doesn't have the potential to become a regular. I saw someone every 3 weeks or so for about 7 months and we'd joke that familiarity didn't breed contempt.....it bred great orgasms ;) Peace MG
  16. I often gift a burnt cd. I try to do a little recon in advance and have a varied and eclectic music collection so I can appeal to most tastes. I've gifted books from a second hand book store and dvd's of obscure movies I think are worthy. Peace MG
  17. Been there and done that with both parents and a sister and as odd as this will read I had some of my best experiences during these very very difficult times. To share someone's death is a mind blowing experience. All the veneers and walls that we hide behind in our normal daily existence and all the bs disappears completely and in my case I felt emotions that were boderline primal both sad, exhilurating and strangely freeing all at the same time. The circle of life happens right before your eyes and anyone who hasn't gone through it truly has no idea. You learn a whole lot about yourself and you learn more about others as well and it's wild wild stuff. Life affirming in many ways. My condolences on you loss. Peace MG
  18. Yea....a voice of reason!! Be good to each other, life is way too short!! Peace MG
  19. My experience is that I've never been asked for my name or to provide a reference for that matter...must be my wit and charm..:) My phone is never blocked. It might be that I like to communicate quite a bit before deciding to pull the trigger. To be honest I'm not sure how I'd respond to either request, I'll make that call if or when it comes up. Peace MG
  20. All my paper work is in order as far as organ donation is concerned though not sure if anyone will want my well worn parts. Also don't forget to donate blood, I donate every 6 weeks......it's in you to give! Peace MG
  21. Oban, The Macallan and Glenfiddich are my faves. For me always neat and served in a heavy glass. Peace MG
