I seem to go the humour route mostly. It's not that I have less interest in serious topics in fact it's the exact opposite. I have wide-ranging interests in many topics areas, I think quickly on my feet and relish an animated discussion. For me that's the rub, I love everything about how technology allows us to communciate with an endless number of people but I've struggled with sublety and nuance communicationing electronically. I'm much better having those kinds of conversations face to face, it's so easy to have misunderstandings that are less likely to happen when you see a reaction immediately or you can something controversial with a smile or a wink and nod. It's something I'm working on. In the mean time I'll use shout like a tweet :) Peace MG

This game and I do call it a game not a hobby isn't for everyone clients and providers alike. And there are a myriad of individual reasons and rational for particpating in it. Personally I don't feel guilty about my particpation and I stopped trying to rationalize it quite awhile ago and to me it simply is what it is. People paying for and others accepting payment for providing a form of companionship. I look at it as business transaction first and foremost an unusual transaction for sure but a transaction just the same. That being said I like people and have definately met some interesting ones that I would never ever would have met. In the end though it is a very personal decision and I would be reluctant to provide a recommendation either way. Good Luck! Peace MG

I've done the smile and walk past and no one notices because I smile at everyone. An interesting time was being seated at a function directly across from some one I'd seen about 6 hours earlier and had no idea was attending the same event and both with dates. I immediately introduced myself so she'd hear my real name and she could respond accordingly as she may have been "working" turns out she wasn't. Everything was cool and we spent the evening as a group chatting away giving no sign or hint that we'd ever met. It's a small small world! Peace MG

I have a sense of time whether I see a clock or not. Frankly 45 minutes ish feels about right to me. At 45 min ish I'll be making pack up noises for sure. A habit of a gifting a cd of music has helped as I know where I am time wise by the song playing. Very rarely have I spent a full hour with some one. But that's just me. Peace MG

My experience is a little different. You can pre pay for 4 rooms sessions (I chose 45 min) and get the 5th "free" and you can book ahead and reserve some one. So normal room rate is $60 for 45 min if you pre pay it's $48 for 45 min in a jacuzzi room, girl in tub. Tip is extra and service is non f/s. All in about $130 for 45 min. Peace MG

Like others have mentioned some times it's just easier and can be done on the spir of the moment. Some times the dance to find some one you're sympatcio with can be a real drag. Also I'm not a f/s player so it can be more ecomonical, simply said I get to play more :) I have seen my share of indies sp's and have enjoyed many but currently it will take some one very special to turn my head. I don't see a lot of women and those I choose to see have engaged with me in a little back and forth emailing or pm'ing etc. By the time I decide to see some one I'm pretty sure I know if we're on the same page and that we'll get along and have the same goals and we'll have some fun because if not then for me why bother. As a gift to myself, taking 40 friends out for dinner and drinks for my 40th Birthday. Took over an entire small favorite (portugese) Rest. We had a ball:). Flying in a helecopter through the Red Clay Canyons at sunrise on my 50th then seeing Lost in Tranlsation. Both memorable! Good times!! Peace MG

My first real brush with erotica was in the late 60's. I would babysit for an aunt and uncle and one night I went downstairs to crab a coke and found a room with these neat stacks of magazines. There was more than 100 and it was Playboy. They dated back to the mid-50's until present day. I took a half doz upstairs and after the kids were in bed I started thumbing through them. Each time I baby sat I had the same routine, after the kids were in bed I'd grab a half a dozen and would go through them. It was really neat to see how the centre folds changed over the years, body shape, age, stylle and nudity which at the begining was pretty tame. The monthly interviews were eargerly anticipated and featured the key politcial and enterntainment figures and writers of the day and certainly left of centre. This was pre internet and mags like Playboy, Rolling Stone and Interview were very influential and because of Playboy I sought them out. My Dad bought me a subscription when I was 18 and renewed it for me every year until he passed at 84 almost 40 years of subscriptions.
