I feel for you! Customer service or lack of same is one of my pet peeves these days and it seems to have permiated virtually all industries and businesses and this one isn't immune to it either. Now a days adequate customer service is sort of a pleasant surprise. We as consumers have let this happen by chasing lower and lower costs and prices which has resulted in poor staff training and no real interest in staff retention because it doesn't seem to matter. Even if you have an issue and want to complain or get an explanation about it, voice mail allows people to hide and has pretty much killed that option. Frankly we as a society have allowed it to become the norm. I hope its just a cycle and someone offering great customer service even at a higher cost will be rewarded for it and their succes might encourage others follow suit. It's always about supply and demand...if I don't receive appropriate customer service....... I simply kill the demand. It may take longer but personally it's worth the wait. Peace MG

I always take a gift, my criteria is that it's something that won't require explaining like flowers. So often it's a bottle of wine. If I've chatted with some one a bit before meeting then I'd likely burn a cd of music. I've also gifted a scarf, tshirt and a book. Peace MG

I tend to decide to versus relove to: Three years ago I decided to not set an alarm clock ever again and get up when I wake up. Seems like 6.5-7.0 hours is my sleep number. Two years ago I decided I would focus more on personal responsibly. I would take responsibility for my day every day. I wouldn't look for some one or some circumstance to blame for a bad day. It was my responsibility and only I could decide the type of day I'd have. With no one to blame but myself, the bad days were very few and far between. One year ago I decided to focus on living a lot, laughing a lot and loving a lot..more. I had a great year! This coming year I've decided why not more of the same!! Peace MG

Been an Uncle 10 times and a Great Uncle four times now. The age range is from 8 months to 37 and I have no kids so it's great! I'm the wise still some what happening and a bit eccentric Uncle to the older ones and the goofy playing on the floor with blocks Uncle to the younger ones. It's a win win :) Peace MG

My 2010 highlights include: Soleil...a tonne of fun, the consummate professional Auralie...an unexpected delight..for me almost as much mental as physical..and the mental was pretty good..lol Spinderella/Vicky...enjoyed my time with her at eb/to and enjoyed her not at eb/to..too Leigh Labouche...glad we met, sexy and very nice, very good service..would highly recommend SexyLilCourtney...liked her a lot, very sexy and very interesting Trinity...clicked about sums it up :) Peace MG

I'm very fortunate and lucky to not only live in this great country but also have the resources to help those less fortunate than me. I give throughout the year because there's always a need but I feel it's more important to give now mostly because Xmas is all about kids to me. It doesn't take much to make a difference. Aside form the usual this year I took the money I normally spend on myself for fun and games ;) and donated it to a variety of charities. The adults in family will receive a card of thanks and a bottle of wine, the kids will get a gift and a card of thanks as it's never too young to learn about giving. Have a Happy and Healthy Holiday Season and if you can help those who are less fortunate. Peace MG

I had my credit card skimmed in Puerto Vallarta a fews back. Likely at a restuarant. A few weeks later I'm using it pay for lunch back home as the card was being used in 6 locations within Mexico, including Cancun, Mexico City, Acapulco and Ixtapa...all over. In about 10 minutes more than $ 10,000.00 was spent. Airlpane tickets, groceries, liquor and on and on. They know they have a very small window and hit quickly and my charge here raised the red flag. It didn't cost me a dime but I didn't have a card for a day or two. Peace MG

I'm a little older :) and was watching Monday Night Football when it came across the screen. First that he'd been shot and then that he died. Intially I didn't believe it.....then I did :( This was pre-internet so the information was really slow in coming. I have a friend who was using the same recording studio as Lennon during the making of Double Fantasy. Being low on the pecking order that had the day shift for recording and Lennon came in at night. Each morning they'd use up lots of their studio time listening to the tapes that Lennon had done the night before and when he was back in the Peg, he told me it would be a pretty good record. He made the pilgrimage to the Dakota and bought a pix from a street dude near the building a black and white of Lennon entering the Dakota. It's a very cool shot. Peace MG

I buy for my young nieces and nephews. All others get a bottle of wine and a thank you card from the xmas charities that I donate to on their and my behalf. I request no gifts for me and donations be made to xmas charities as well. I'm blessed and able to share my good fortune. Peace MG
