Amanda, let me just say a hard ass is good thing;). Lethargy has never an issue for me :) I wake up sharp as a tack, bright eyed and bushy tailed. Most days I lift and ski on a nordic trak and my ass isn't the only thing that takes more effort to get harder as I age...ifuknowwhatimean;) Might be an age thing but worth the effort...lol I find pot to have aphrodisiacal qualities as well. An interesting question that I've thought about on occasion. I'm 56 and am always upfront about it when contacting someone I'm interested in. I figure it's only fair. Vitrually each time I'll get a response that age isn't an issue. Saying that I'm unlikely going to contact someone 18-22, not really sure why but it seems to be the case. I like smart women who will enage with me a bit prior to meeting. Some are wiling to do that others aren't. As much as I get that this a pay for play game, I feel I have a responsibility to put my best foot foward and am gratefull to be naked with someone much younger. I work out regularly not just for the hobby but for my personal health. I'm very young at heart (some might say immature :)) and stay current and have a clue of about what's going on in the world. I don't bring it like a youngster anymore but have learned the odd thing over the years that helps ;). I arrive impecably groomed, on time and am a gentleman combined with a positive and fun attitude. So I feel it's a fair trade off. Peace MG

At about 8:30 am nine years ago today I walked into my office and said to my staff that I'd just heard on the radio that a small plane had flown into one of the WTC towers. We moved into the board room turned on the TV and saw the next plane, and it looked huge, slam into the other tower. It seemed so surreal and so hard to believe. Our office faced north and was on a flight path and within minutes we noticed plane after plane after plane most with names and colours we'd never seen before coming in to land as air space over North America had been closed. I was to travel the next day to TO for a weeks vacation. The night before we were to leave we saw footage of all kinds of people virtually living in various airports. We weren't concerned about the safety of flying by this point but the guilt we would have felt wondering past stranded travellers would be too much. The TIFF was on and rooms were at a premium, we called the hotel and gave up ours. I recall watching a documentary after about a french film crew coincidently doing a film about a fire hall that got the call when the planes hit. Dudes just like us in the lobby of those buildings trying to figure what the fuck to do and about to climb more than 80 floors with 50 pounds or so of equipment even at 3 minutes a floor it would take those who could do it at least 4 hours to get there and help. They are interrupted by what sounds like rifle shots and some one comes in and says....we got jumpers and it was the sound of them slamming into the concrete...wow how bad must it have been to say fuck it and fly from 60-70 or more floors. It changed the world profoundly and I think it changed me profoundly as well! Revel in the good times, cause we have no idea whats around the bend. Peace MG

Empathy and simple kindness seem sadly lacking more and more these days. There was upside in the bartender being a dick and knocking the man who passed. Moreover you were upset and he showed no empathy toward you. It doesn't take much, just a kind word or a touch or a smile and it can mean the world to someone. Life is way way too short and lots of us have experienced sad and sudden losses. Some times is takes incidents like theses to remind us that life is beautiful and we should never ever take it for granted. Be good to each other Peace MG
