etasman2000 is correct. Most SPs are willing to visit with couples as long as they know it's all kosher. Having your wife make contact privately will allow the ladies to talk and the SP will be able to hone in on if they are a good match. Not wanting to sound like a broken record, but always doing so....communication is key. Cat

This philosophy is ideal and as an SP I appreciate not being hustled. But there are always the occasional unusual set of circumstances where things can be worked out. A successful negotiation always has both parties walking away happy. It's the ones that simply want a discount with nothing in return that girls get frustrated with. Cat

I am a negotiator, no if, ands or buts. I grew up in the automotive industry and everything and anything was haggled. The one thing I learned from watching my parents eek out a living was that service costs were never argued but bartered. The $ value exchanged was always the hourly rate charged. If my dad needed legal advice, he serviced the lawyers cars until the bill was squared. I learned to negotiate for tangibles. I will argue price the Bay, you would be amazed at how often a discount comes into play in places no one expects. I never negotiate with what someone thinks their knowledge or skill is worth. What I do miss here in Canada is bartering. What does someone have that I need? I have bartered my talents for cars, furniture, jewelery, groceries, clothing, appliances, car repairs, vet services, legal services, spa and salon services, electronics, hotel accommodations, dental work, movers and house renos. The only thing I have failed at is finding a great plastic surgeon who was willing to work a trade. When it comes to negotiating the key is that both parties feel that they got their value out of the deal. I am not offended when someone asks me if I need something other than cash. It's in the approach. What do I need? What do you have? You don't ask an SP to discount her rate without putting something in the kitty to bring the value up to acceptable donation rates plus a bit more to make it worth her while. Common sense is all it takes... Cat P.S. I am currently in the market for a really nice, full size newer stacking washer and dryer!

Random Musings: What's Worse??

Disclaimer: The view expressed below is mine and is not shared with the majority of the female population... There isn't a clear line here. It depends on where you are in life, what your life path is and what you want out of the days you have been given. Sheer economics will dictate that it's cheaper to rent, but do you really want to be alone....until the end? I am an abolitionist, no one can belong to anyone else so the concepts of legal marriage to someone who believes in monogamy is ludicrous to me now. Does that mean never falling in love or being committed to someone? Not in my little corner of life, it simply means supporting someone in their decisions even if it means he is going to have a relationship with a 20 something intern on the hill, a brilliant but pretentious 30 something from work or never get the divorce I thought he already had. If one can juggle 4 balls at the same time and smile, then it's all good from my perspective. The funny thing is that people buy into the facade of "this is the one" and when the hormones change and things settle down they think something is wrong. There is nothing wrong, it's the way life rolls out. I believe that the day a man stops hunting is the day his spark has been put out. It shouldn't happen but it does and it's always sad to see. The zest for life is the foundation for appreciating the experience we get to have and men flourish as long as their virility is intact. If that takes juggling multiple women, so be it, as long as he goes to sleep knowing he's happy. On our death beds it's never the things that we have done that concern us, it's the things we didn't have the courage to do that comes into focus. My philosophy is to do everything..... Cat -
The reality is law enforcement has a job to do, and in this industry I support their choice to try and protect the underage girls who are in these situations. From experience, I know teenagers are incredibly stubborn and naive. I am sure these girls think they are in a partnership of sorts, but they don't realize it is a pact that will leave them damaged and broken. Coercion and violence are a part of life when a girl has a pimp and they are usually estranged from their loved or less than loved ones. The police need to do what they can to protect these young girls. Quite often it takes a prison cell to keep these girls away from their pimps. The loyalty is so disturbing. The police are not looking for consenting adults who do not make a nuisance of themselves to the community, they are going after the one group that permeates this business and makes it dirty. I for one support this effort and I think we do not need to become paranoid and blow this out of perspective. Cat

What percentage of clients are you physically attracted?
cat replied to voltio8836's topic in Ottawa Discussion - Escorts
I refuse to live my life in-authentically. 95% of the time I know long before someone walks thru the door if we are in the same head space. There needs to be something there in his words that makes me think. I have had guests that look like Danny DeVito and Woody Allen rock my world and pretty boys that left me wishing I could have that time back. I find myself now imagining men I meet in social situations in bed and it's seldom the pretty ones that catch my attention. Sometimes I sit in a room full of men and spend a minute in my happy place with each one of them naked. It's a fun way to spend 30 minutes when I don't have to participate in the discussion at hand. I most certainly can be attracted emotionally to someone in 3 minutes, it can happen instantly. The twinkle in a eye, or that smile that comes from inside charm. I do not feign warmth with my guests and I do not fake enjoyment. The quality of my time and my existence is mine for the making. If I do not feel there is a connection worth nurturing, I do not book a second appointment, but it doesn't mean I didn't enjoy the initial meeting. The key piece of wisdom this industry has brought to my life is that I create my reality and I happen to love my world and the people in it for who they are. I have found it brings out the best of each moment. Would I put all of my clients in a Playgirl centerfold? No, because the thing that makes them sexy to me may elude the camera. It doesn't mean they don't float my boat! Cat -
I agree with the girls, just ask. I will never agree to anything before I meet a guest. Every game is fun if you a playing with the right playmate. It all depends on your attitude going in. Cat

Buying A Condo - Any Advice?
cat replied to drlove's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
My suggestion....PM Dummpy. He is a wealth of information and has never steered me wrong. He finds amazing properties that are off beat and great deals... Cat -
I think it's important to understand there could be a myriad of reasons why people don't "click". It may be the guests grooming, but it could also be the SP was having an off day. Maybe you reminded her of someone from the past or she just had some drama in her personal life. We are not suppose to have bad days, but it happens. I have had days where I knew I had too much going on, but the appointments were booked and I couldn't let my visitors down. An SP being able to get her head in the right space comes with experience which takes time to accrue. Many of the SP's are young and still learning. Don't automatically assume it was you, and don't take it personally. I'm sorry you had experiences that didn't live up to your expectations. Give yourself a chance to find the right provider and it will be well worth it. Cat

Are SP's prepared for Swine Flu Epidemic?

I shall take you to bed and have my way with you I will make you ache, shake and sweat until you moan and groan I will make you beg for mercy, beg for me to stop I will exhaust you to the point where you will be relieved when I'm finished with you And when I am finished with you, you will be weak for days All my love...The Flu For the last two weeks in our home the H1N1 has been a guest. I had my visit to Ottawa and everything was fine, but when I returned it had taken up residence and everyone was dancing to it tune. Last Sunday I started the fever and the symptoms hit fast. It was unlike anything I've ever had. I don't get virus' but this showed up and took hold of me. What I wasn't expecting was the body pain. If any of you have ever donated bone marrow, the process is painful but the recovery is a pain that sits in the area of the extraction and takes a month to subside. My entire body feels like the marrow has been drained. The other symptoms are manageable but I can't believe I'm so sore. The good thing is it is out of the way and I am well on the road to recovery. I feel so sorry for the children with it. Wash your hands, keep things clean and take care of yourself. Everyone knows their body best, if you want a vaccination then get one. It's your body, your health, your decision... Smiles....Cat -
Darling Mr. Dumpy, May your year be filled with delicious joy and happiness. You'll have to come for your birthday present when I'm home in November! Sweet Kisses....c

Darling Meathead, I agree that sometimes it's easy to forget that the ladies read this too and I'm sure there was no harm intended. Very good suggestions... Cat

I find phrases like saggy tits, average, overweight, chubby and limited sexiness are very subjective terms and should used with great caution. Saggy to some are pendulous to others and very sought after. What is average? Overweight and chubby are hurtful at best. Limited sexiness? WTF? Maybe there simply was no chemistry. Sexy takes two to happen. These girls have access to this material and I for one would be deeply offended if I were to read this about myself. Women already struggle with body image, this kind of description is unnecessary. It is why we have PM's. There is something to be said for tact and good taste. Cat

His beloved family has decided he's too old to live on his own. He's being moved to a nursing home next week. His take on the move....at least it has a double bed! (He has a single) There is a silver lining if you look for it... Cat

I arrived to the building with the most delicious black lingerie I own, it is the most unusual building I have seen here in Ottawa. A good sign! I buzzed in and walked down a long red hall, wondering who designed this building and who would be on the other side of the door. I knocked, and the door opened. There stood the poet in a bathrobe with the biggest smile I have seen in days, which is saying a lot because there have been amazing smiles this week here in Ottawa. He hugged me and gently nuzzled my neck, while slipping my coat off. He took me on a tour of his place, and then we ended up on the couch. The rest of the evening will remain as I always prefer - DNRD. It was two of the most amazing hours and guess what.... HE'S 90!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The point I am trying to make, is that you are never too old to appreciate quality time and to take the time to appreciate the littlest details. If we could all share this mans intense will to live every moment of every day it would make this world a much more enjoyable place for all. If you are sitting having a drink, raise a toast and drink to one day being this much fun... Cat

Saturday evening.... As I lie down to sleep on my bed I have fantasies deep in my head Of erotic desire And exotic attire Which is sheer and jet black or bright red. When I meet you at nine at the door Do I greet you by bowing or MORE 'Cause I want you to know I'm a friend not a foe And that you are the one I'll adore.
-
it is late, I screwed up the subject line! ahhhh...it's suppose to be Saturday afternoon! c To a girl that I hope soon to see (I'm as thrilled as it's possible to be) I say "When you are bare At your beauty I'll stare And caress your sweet round mammary." The kisses you sent me by e mail Were samples of what is to come When tomorrow is here And dear Catherine is near And she lets me massage her sweet bum.

Dear Cath'rin, as I write this, The writing helps me cope With all the pent up longings That I define as hope. When I awoke this morning, T'was to a fantasy That had you lying on my bed Attired quite scantily

Tonight I had the most wonderful evening. It was incredibly sensual and has left me sitting in wonder. There was no fast and furious, but the slow sweetness that sucks me in every time. The entire visit was brilliant in its simplicity. I've posted it here in the GDA because there is a lesson in it for everyone of us. First, I am going to be posting some poetry, and I will put each as it was sent to me in an individual post so you can follow the writing for the last 2 days. It is a taste of days gone by, written by a brilliant mind with a sense of humor from an era that I think we have much to learn from. Read it thru and you will understand. Cat

Are SP's prepared for Swine Flu Epidemic?
cat replied to rockstar1's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Everyone has to be on guard regardless of the latest flu strain. I believe that each one of us has a unique immune system and what is important is that we know our bodies. I side with Christine that flu shots are not a magic bullet and sometimes cause more damage than we can imagine. I am not susceptible to virus strains but bacterial just about flattens me. If we listen to our bodies we know when something is up. When that happens...stay home. Cat
