Wow, that is quick, but great news! I don't get back to Otown until Friday, so now have another reason to celebrate!

A bit late in answering, but Alesha is working another job. Usually in on Thursday or Fridays, but it is hit and miss with her lately.

Just have to second and third this thread. Jenny is a dream girl. Her only fault is she is too damn popular!! LOL Nevertheless, she always has time to come up and give me a hug. Always smiling, never complaining and yes, very playful in the CR. Gotta love her.

Coincidentally, I was there Friday over lunch too. Had a lovely time with Zoey and the very busty Gabriellia. Got my hug and kiss from Jenny, but could not meet her before heading back to work, hopefully next time. Gotta love Barbs!

Yep, saw Mia today. Jenny is out of town for another week or two. Dagny is in on an occasional basis, Monday to Thursday and some Saturdays. If we are thinking about the same Brooke, she has been gone awhile. -Alg

I got to jump into this too. McGuinty totally caved into a bunch of well meaning but overly zealous activists (and I am being kind) with the pesticide (read herbicide) ban. The doctor report that was used as a basis for the ban was biased in that it cherry picked the few studies that showed some indication of effects but left out the many others that didn't. Even then, the only studies that even showed a faint link, if any, were with heavy uses, such as farmers, and not with residential users. On top of this, guess who still can use these pesticides? Farmers!! Health Canada and many other national laboratories have tested common herbicides and said they were safe to use. On Ontario's part, it was a totally political action. Science bent for political gain is not science. Guess who I will not be voting for. Rant over -Alg

Well I finally recovered enough to turn my computer on and wish to send a big THANK YOU to Nicki and Angela and all the other helpers and participants at the social. My first OTTAWA SC, was a place on Montreal rd, just north of the Queensway at about 1984. I was on a business trip and asked the travel agent to get me a hotel near the NRC. I got a dive of room at a hotel that I cant remember the name of but the bonus was the SC. Had my first ever $5 table dance.
