I agree, but the scam artists are good, and they can make it real appealing. The sad part is that some of our favs and fellow members here still use CL, so there ARE ligitimate SPs on there, it's just a very big gamble, and as you said, many of the good ones are already on EC and on here, so...

usually I would recommend turning it off unless you are running something long as already mentionned a torrent or something such. Two things of note, depending on your Internet plan, and some nice not always desired software, leaving your commupter on can result in bandwith charges (should you exceed your monthly bandwith allocation, if you have one), some ISPs actually have different levels for uploads and downloads, in some cases higher then 10:1 (download:upload), torrents being taken from your pc are usually considere "uploads", a friend of mine wound up with a 300.00 extra bandwith surcharge when his son sceduled several movie download off a torrent and left for the better part of the week... my friend was not too thrilled. A somewhat secondary consideration is power consumption obvioulsy. Some newer PCs have 1000 watt power supplies or more, and in some cases actually burn that amount, which is like having a hair dryer on all day (many hair dryers use up 1200 watts), about 0.05$ per hour, but it can add up, it also generated extra heat, which may not be cool on hot days (but nice on winter days ;) ) And as MOD already mentionned, the added dust/wear is also a very real issue depending on the environment you are in. And that type of extra attention get noticed Emma (and it is greatly appreciated) :) Seperate phones are a great idea, but they need to be "disposable", just FYI from past experience. So no expensive, would cry if I lost it, cells for hobbying, and of course, no true personal stuff on it... that should got without saying... I am somewhat concerned about the "listed" number mentionned, an unblocked number is no issue, but a listed number carries some risk as well, and for the record, most SPs I have dealt with have "unlisted" cells, albeit unblocked ones. Privacy concerns are very close on both side, if for slightly different reasons. So mutual comfort level is what allows a connection, otherwise, well, both go their seperate ways. Group emails also carry the risk of inadvertently including people who you did not want to include, I.E. real personal contacts of the sender, this in tern could cause issues...

You are quite correct Ariane, but I think as roles evolve, you will find that women will also run into the same issues many men have encountered (time constraints, spontenaiety, and others I am forgetting right now) and will turn to this type of arrangment. A quick look at some dateing sites will reveal that some women are already getting tired of "paying his debts" and clearly state so. As revenues increase, so to does the perception of entitlement from "spouses" be they men or women, and thus the higher earners feelings of "abuse" or the blank check syndrome. In the end those women and others will become more and more attracted to other arrangments, most of the hobbiests here have already hit the issue in one form or another and have chosen to make the selection as opposed to the long term "whoring" Erin was refering to.

Welcome to our nic of the woods my dear Susie. Anyone on here who has issues with what you do needs to take a good hard look in the mirror ;) However, as a man, it is always comforting to see that as women's roles change and they become closer to the roles traditionally held by men, they are also finding the same shortcommings or issues with relationships that men have been complaining about for eons (I don't have time for the drama, I don't want to be commited to a blank check without any "service guarantees", I DON'T WANT STRINGS attached to sex beyond the act itself (I.E. well if you don't do XYZ it will really spoil my mood for later...)) I think it's great to be able to contemplate the day when "anyone" can provide services of this nature, as at that point, groups like Erin's may have an easier time convincing "people" of the real issues affecting sex workers.

I think snackmospher is actually a technical term.... packaging marketing: the science of BSing consummers and getting away with it ! It's like McD... I had a few pics when I was very young (8-9) and I was eating a cheese burger, cuz I could NOT open my mouth enough for a big mac ! my fater was eating one... So that got me thinking, I used some measurments off the pic, and compared it to my Dad's fingers, which are about the same size as the pic... then went to McD and bought a BM !!! guess what it's 20-35% smaller !!! but costs like 2.5 times as much... now thats marketing !! same name, smaller format bigger price=BIGGER PROFITS and hungry folks who wonder why they are hungrier then they were before after a BM !!! You know SM, everyone has their ideals, while I love long hair, and it might make the initial connection, if I know you and you change, that would not affect me. This being said, there are folks who have to have the scene "just right" and if even one little thing is off, they are thrown off their fantasy, and back to reality I guess. So to actually answer you, like every SP, every client is different, so it appears that that client might only come back once you hair has grown.. others may not even notice...

To Me all is good, so long as it's clean. I don't fancy record lenght pubic hair with tresses, but other then that it's ok. But I must admit I am getting more and more in the mood for bare, it's got some nice feel to it, plus you get to see what you are doing ;)
