It's unfortunate that Gentlman 11 didn't live up to his name and keep a private matter private as a genlteman would do. There was no need to make the mod out to be the bad guy here. If someone wants to leave the instructions are quite clear on how to close your account as is the processes for posting a new recommendation. And as Nicolette points out there is always the community it's self here ready to help at a drop of the hat , my inbox is always full of these types of questions, and I'm happy to help because I know it's taking a load off the mod's full plate and I like to help out wherever and whenever i can. In the end the decision is yours Gentleman 11, clearly many of your fellow members don't want you to leave and the mod did not ask you to leave. If you choose to stay but have issues navigating the site you now know that you can turn to the membership or senior members here who would be more than happy to help!

Malika, I'm sorry to hear this happened to you , but glad that you chose to bring it forward here for feedback and advice. This situation has raised some interesting discussion and unique perspective, the varied backgrounds and beliefs of the diverse membership here at cerb has created a wonderful and thoughtful thread. We can all take away something form the thoughts shared here. While we don't necessarily agree with one another it's refreshing to see different viewpoints and beliefs discussed in a civil and respectful manner!

the Arc is a little to "boutiquie" and therefore less discrete for my liking. The albert at bay is the best bang for your buck. Basically you get a 1 or 2 bedroom apt for about 120 -160, keep your eye out for deals on expedia as Megan mentioned, last year I had one of the middle 1 bedroom with den suites and two bathrooms for 79 bucks a night, along with 30% discount on dinner at the restaurant and 4 free drinks! I couldn't believe it! Never had any issues hosting also used the room for photo shoot, I was bringing in equipment and stuff and the staff did not bat an eye. I know a number of ladies who've hosted from the Albert at Bay with no problems, cleaning staff is great and work hard I tip them nicely. If there's a down side to the Albert at Bay it's the hide a bed couches, not very comfortable to sit on and they are getting a little long in the tooth. Mind you the beds are very comfortable ;) and the glass stand up shower in most rooms is absolutely sexy

The lower lobby entrance will soon become the only entrance as the fromer crowne plaza/skyline hotel is about to undergo 25 million in renovations that are long overdue! The west facing elevations on slater, lyon and queen will see some major changes including the removal of the car ramp that brought guests to the second level lobby. The crowne/skyline was always a bit of dive in my opinion, more of a highrise motel, they had the attitude of the westin or marriot but could never deliver. Over priced, tiny rooms dated furnishings and so so food. The only redeeming factor as it relates to the hobby was that they accepted cash which works well for sp's or even clients that don't want to use credit cards for transactions. A potential issue as it relates to the hobby is the fact that the delta has and unwritten "rule" about renting rooms to local residents.

Toonie, WIT, Scott I don't think you guys fall in the GWC category, not in the least. GWCs usually try to finagle TFP or trade of service and hound the models in question. The scenarios you describe sound much more professional and honourable and with ladies whom you already have an established raport. If the lady approaches you or you offer to pay a sitting fee, then you could hardly be considered a GWC! GWCs usually just cast a wide net and wait for someone to bite. In the end it all comes down to trust, I always provide the lady with the camera raw photos, but a good percentage of my work involves photoshoping to correct lighting, create textures and fixing small blemishes and other final touches, nothing to deceive just to improve on an already great subject. This is always done with the understanding and trust of both parties. So while it's good advice to keep your hands on the masters, it's not unreasonable for an accomplished artist to want to touch up the photos. My whole point earlier was that the random GWCs who are persistant can be annoying and in no way meant a slight to the shutterbugs of CERB

These amateurs are refered to in modeling circles as GWC "guy with camera" and are a pain in the arse! They make it difficult for us legitimate guys. I've seen what some of these hacks pass of as their portfolio and it's laughable, most of them have no clue or skill. I'm certainly no expert, but also when presented with a request that is beyond my skill or ability as photographer I'm upfront with my client and refer them or suggest another photog whom I trust and know will deliver. As in everything there's always a few bad apples out there to spoil the bunch!

What do you mean by this ? I may be wrong about what you mean but if you're looking for a discounted rate for a movie or a "fun" date you should still expect to pay her normal fee. I think you might find yourself with few responses, the type of date you are looking for is most fun when you've got a connection on an emotional level with a provider. Once you've seen a lady you like a few times you'll enjoy social time much more when you connect on a whole different level with your clothes on. :)

Before everybody piles on to this thread I think it should be noted that the OP is actualy paying homage to the many beautiful ladies who charge fair, affordable and reasonable rates, compared to the prices he payed many years ago when he left the hobby. I wouldn't say that we're oversexed than any other major city, we just like to talk about it more than anywhere else it would seem ! It wasn't always this way, in the past Ottawan's wallowed in the shadows of montreal boards or Toronto boards, at one time on TERB we were bunched in with the Oshawa discussion. Going further back on the old Canada's Best site which was actually a video rental site there was a pretty active ottawa section. Other boards have come and gone, with little loss or hype. In fact just the other day there was an announcement for a new Ottawa based board, we'll have to see how that one does. As Etasman suggests the best way to get your region talking is to engage the hobbiests and providers in your area lead the way with some provocative and informative posts as the saying goes "if you build it they will come" or in this case "cum" :-)

Rocky it should have worked on the iphone, I've removed the feature as i was obviously overly confident in its ability. I will continue to work with the application and tinker in the background. Tablet type devices aren't going anywhere anytime soon and will continue to develop and become integral to our everyday tasks. The physical keyboard i'm typing this message on right now will very soon become an museum piece in no time ! Bait and switch is what the name implies and is not limited to false misleading photos. The bait can be anything, a photo, claims of service, claims of price, claims of age. If the actual differs in any way from the original claim then it is a bait and switch operation. The poster from the other thread contacted me the other day to make me aware of the situation, but has yet to reply to my questions. Not to discredit him, but as Megan points out the low post count is a factor to consider when taking in this type of statement. As many patrons of asian services are well aware, you need to be extra vigilant and take any claims or statements from the phone guy or printed ad with a grain of salt. Traditionally and typically the only accurate information in an asian service ad is the phone number.

Thanks OFF, the authentication thing is annoying but solved by clearing the cache, however many other issues exist. I've tried it out on my first gen Ipad and a bb playbook, and for the most part things worked, but the "app" engine is flawed. I think I'll be taking it offline for the time being as I read more about the problems with this plugin that other developers are experiencing. Technology, got to love it, right ?!
