Jazz I understand your concern for discretion, everyone here does. I assure you the picture on that site is not of me,(i'm much better looking than that, right ladies :) ) it's a stolen frame of video from a European social networking site. Ironic i know that he would have to steal a photo. I'm not afraid of this guy and neither should any of you. while the blog has been dormant for 8 months now I'm sure the blogger is still lurking but don't let this one disgruntled customer/agency owner ruin the fun for you or anyone else. Social events are great and it's always nice to put a face to the screen name. I've met a number of members and providers in person and discretion was always key. It might be best to consider different invitation options to ensure privacy and discretion are kept, but don't let this looser spoil your potential for fun!

I have to chime in on this one, I've been watching this thread go on and on, it's dizzying! If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, and looks like a duck... IT'S A DUCK! I was alerted to the scam potential a short while ago when I was contacted directly from the scammers by way of txt message pretending to be a provider I had seen previously. I suspected something was up but it takes time to bait these scammers. As for buyin' me a drink and without sounding like a sell out and seein' as you asked... you can buy me a drink if you've got paypal, just click the "buy me a beer" link on my website. I'm not out to profit from this though, a portion of all drinks and advertising money is donated to CHEO, Nelson House Women's shelter, The United way and the Humane Society. As for the location comments, I'm of the belief that good people can live in bad neighborhoods and all to often bad people can live in good neighborhoods. I don't believe in judging people on their address, the way they dress, where they work, the music they listen too, etc. That being said there's always a bad apple in the bunch as this situation has shown us, but let's not jump to conclusions just because of the street address. Understand that some of the people who might work out of their homes in that area are probably not doing so by choice but for survival. It's also not fair to write off CL completely everybody's got to start somewhere and for some it does provide great exposure, many members here also advertise on CL, they wouldn't do it if it didn't work,now would they ?

Yeah I bought one as well and it's pretty neat for sure. I too have not been able to put it down, much more practical and functional than my net book. I even found a great wordpress app so I can edit the diary on the go as spend a lot of time at coffee houses and away from the ranch. Mod is right the photos tool is impressive and very intuitive. I recently upgraded my graphics system to an HP something or other and invested in a new graphics tablet the wacom bamboo pen and touch, so now I never use a mouse to navigate, multitouch navigation is very cool. Back to the IPAD the battery life is most impressive compared to that of my net book or my HP laptop. It's quite the conversation starter at the coffee shop too. It's much more practical and functional than I expected reading the newspaper on it is quite the experience. The lack of flash support has it's drawbacks for sure, I can't listen to my favorite radio station at the coffee house as their player is flash based but I can load up the ipod function full of my favorite tunes. The ibook function is neat but for now they are unable to sell titles in Canada I understand that will be changing shortly, no problem kobo books has great ibook reader app and a great online selection of books for about 10.00 each. If you have a net book you'll want one of these babies for both the cool factor and the practical applications it can serve. The best way to deal with clients like this is the trash bin. While yes there are pages and pages of women offering the same service, I doubt there are many that are willing to negotiate or be coerced into offering a discount to this ungrateful patron. And if he does find someone who will, he's bound to understand why the service was discounted. If he'd rather spend his time shopping around and getting rejected by other offended providers instead of spending some quality time with you then that's his choice, in the end he'll need to resolve his stress and relief at his own accord and likely with his own hands :) Don't waste your time worrying about Discount deadbeats.

As many of you may have noticed and noted by way of pm, I have been away and not participating with this board for quite sometime now, real life get's in the way sometime and will continue to take me away for some time now. A lot of TV's mute with no video signal going into them, bring your DVD player from home and hook it up to see if the various inputs work. If they don't work it's probably not worth getting fixed. It's sad to say but in today's disposable society the cost of getting it fixed would be the same or more than a new tv. You can get fairly decent refurbished lcd or plasma tv's at Xscargo or factory direct for around 500 bucks for 42"-50" screen size. This week best buy has a 50 samsung plasma for 850, brand new, I paid considerably more for my 50" lcd just 3 years ago. With the advent of LED tv and 3d LED tv on the way Plasma tvs are quickly on their way out and can be found for cheap.
