Parking is not an issue for me - just hitch my horsey up to the nearest post. You are right though Parking at the Arc is practicaly the same as getting a room! Another nicely appointed but often over looked option down town is the Albert at Bay apartment style suites, you can often find great deals with them when booking through expedia or priceline.They are also sp friednly to those who practice discretion. The arc is a great boutique hotel, although i will agree it is kind of dark, but that can be helpful if one is looking for discretion. They are great when it comes to customer service, I'm not sure why any one would be upset by delivery of complimentary water and fruit when your feeling under the weather. It's my opinion that they strive for an excellent level of customer service. Other great boutique hotels to concider, the Bostonian and Indigo is a cool modern spot with great design and decor. All of them sp friendly although with limited late night access.

Sometimes the courtesy payment of 20 bucks or so is more like insurance. You don't know who might be in the next room or in the car. At the very least the 20 bucks covers gas. Was I harsh... yes I probably was, but guaranteeing service and other factors and then revoking them later is just as bad as bait and switch. To be blunt when a provider advertises NO RESTRICTIONS, I would expect no restrictions, call me crazy. Now I wasn't looking for anything crazy involving swinging from the chandelier, power tools or peanut butter. But at the very least kissing, bbbj daty are expected for a NO RESTRICTIONS provider. Walking is the only way to deal with bait and switchers, liars and scammers if you stay, they've won and will continue to pull the same shit on others.

Interesting thread and some good interesting discussion. I partake in this hobby partialy to alleviate the anxiety I deal with in my "real life" My day job is a pressure cooker with constantly changing deadlines, shifting priorities and a lot of go go go, it's not a job I can easily leave at 5 O'clock and rarely do.
