  1. The Department of Justice Act requires that the Minister of Justice examine every Bill and Regulation to ensure that it does not violate the Charter. I wonder if Rob Nicholson is at all concerned.
  2. I just want to be clear. I posted the link because I think that it is important the people have the ability to express their views, as they have here. It was not posted as a comment on a particular religion and should not be read that way. There are many in other religions who have similarly misguided views.
  3. Apparently this has been started as a means to preserve marriage, the premise being that is wives are good "whores" to their men the men will not visit brothels. Here is the link http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2011/jul/06/outrage-at-obedient-wives-club-singapore
  4. Kracker, No problem with the questions. In my expereince if you are not interested in a dance at that time, most dancers would rather know, If they ask if they can sit with you you can say "I am just catching my breath maybe later" It is not easy for a young woman to come up to a total stranger and start a conversation - any more than it is for you. So polite and leave her room to save face. The row closest to the stage is sometimes referred to as "pervert row". That said, if all you want to do is look, it is a good vantage point. Touching - well leave that to the dancer to explain. If you tell her that it is your first time having a private dance she may be more inclined to open up about her rules. Remember it is her choice. If you are in doubt you can say, "your breasts are really beautiful I wish I could touch them" The worst that she can say is "This club (or I) do not allow that." Then you can stop at the end of that dance and see if another lady is more open to being touched. The one issue that I find really difficult is if the lady is not "fresh". Once I sense that I just want to get out asap. But I tent to wait until the dance is over and thank her settle up and head for the hills (or more accurately a shower). I know that I am probably doing her a disservice but I would rather not have to deal with her embarrassment. Others may have thoughts on that.
  5. The Mariott Hotel has a very good Japanese Restaurant (Dixon Rd and Carlingview).
  6. Malika, I am sorry that you were hurt. People who react the way that man did do not understand so many things. They are poorer for it. WR
  7. I have had short time experiences - mostly not in Canada I admit. Generally speaking anything under 40 minutes left me feeling unsatisfied. When I meet an SP I feel that we are sharing intimate time. Clock pressure is as much of a mood killer as an à la carte menu. In fact in my xp they ofter go together. Nothing kills the mood more than "Stop, if you want to touch my breasts that is extra", followed by "Stop, if you want multiple positions that is extra"... I would rather accept that I am paying for the lady's time and then subject to her personal restrictions (kissing, no bbbj etc.) there is no further discussion of money. Likewise for me a 15 minute rate is too much clock focus. I prefer to take my time, an hour or better two and enjoy. If I have only a short amount of time I would rather turn my attentions to other matters and call an SP when I have time to enjoy our time together. But that is just a personal opinion.
  8. The comment about being "gummed" had me laughing uncontrollably. I will definitely NOT stop there I my way from Montreal.
  9. No problem on the tag - we just have to make sure that we both keep our noses clean or the mod might suspend us both for good measure lol Additional Comments: I have not seen an issue about sweat pants here. In the GTA they are discouraged as a way to discourage easy "extras" that can get the club in trouble.
  10. Had an appointment set up for the afternoon. I spent the morning skiing on fresh groomed runs. It was a wonderful day - or so I had planned. I stopped for lunch and then back for a few more runs. Well my appointment turned out to be at the hospital - I broke my arm. Needless to say the nurses were nice but the ministrations were not nearly as nice as those that I had planned!
  11. There are significant gang issues in Ottawa. H.A. have a clubhouse near Wellington and Holland. The level of activity is kept below the radar screen for most because it suits everyone's purpose. By everyone I mean club owners, the gangs and police. The no colours signs in some clubs are there to give the rest of us some comfort. The owners make their own "arrangements".
  12. I was waiting for someone to come up with that variation!
  13. Advance Fee Frauds also known as West African 419 schemes have been around in different forms for over 20 years. They are perpetrated by mail, fax and email. In some instances when the victims have gone to collect their money in person they have been murdered. Phonebusters.ca has some good tips. Phishing - the "bank asking for personal information" fraud is more recent, and needs to be reported to the financial institution so that they can warn their customers. Another is the fake cheque scheme. Where you are asked to cash a cheque, and pay a % back to the person who gave you the cheque. The cheque is not a personal cheque - it is written on the account of a legitimate business, but with false account information. It bounces after you have paid a % to the fraudster. You can see videos on these at FakeChecks.org
  14. Summer is a genuine Ottawa girl. She has a great sense of humour, is comfortable with herself and within minutes makes her guest feel the same. Paradise is a very clean and modern facility in a small commercial mall. Upon entering you are greeted by a receptionist - much like going to a hair salon. The rooms are tastefully decorated in warm tones - I suppose they are slightly masculine - browns and coffee colours. The in room shower is clean (the ladies clean them after every use) and the towels are fresh and plush. There is always lots of body wash and shampoo (Old Spice body wash - so no nee to worry about smelling of a ladies perfume after). The lighting is not too dim, although I imagine that it can be dimmed. The massage tables are sturdy and covered with towels that are changed after each guest. There is a professional tanning bed in one of the rooms and it might be an option for "post massage" as it is not advised to take a shower right after a tanning session. I arrived without an appointment and was pleased to hear that I would be having a taste of Summer (winter has been too long). She offered me a shower to start and turned on the water so that it would be warm. A few minutes later she returned and started a deep tissue massage. She is very skilled at finding muscle knots and worked to relieve them. Throughout we had a great conversation and I was genuinely at ease. I left relaxed and refreshed. I will certainly repeat at Paradise (in fact I have been there several times before seeing Summer) but this time I will book in advance to make sure that I see Summer (enough of winter already)!
  15. Terrible accident. I have driven roads like that and the lack of protection (armco barriers) is amazing. It seems that they do not bother to put them on the most dangerous curves on the principle that they will only slow down the inevitable. F1 and pro rally drivers have amazing reflexes and superior safety equipment. A reminder to those of us who drive ordinary cars that we need to be careful on those roads.
  16. The Simpsons because it rekindled the thinking adult audience cartoon. As for a comic, Dilbert - it just rings true so many times for a generation of oppressed cubicle workers.
  17. Unionized Brothel ''' A dedicated shop steward was at a convention in Las Vegas and decided to check out the local brothels. When he got to the first one, he asked the Madame, "Is this a union house?" "No, I'm sorry, it isn't," said the Madame. "Well, if I pay you $100, what cut do the girls get?" he asked. "The house gets $80 and the girl gets $20." Mightily offended at such unfair dealings, the man stomped off down the street in search of a more equitable shop. At the second one, he asked the Madame, "Is this a union house?" "No, I'm sorry, it isn't," said the Madame. "If I pay you $100, what cut do the girls get?" he asked again. "The house gets $80 and the girl gets $20." Again offended, the man stomped off down the street in search of a more equitable shop. His search continued until he finally reached a brothel where the Madame said, "Why yes, this is a union house." "And if I pay you $100, what cut do the girls get?" he questioned. "The girls get $80 and the house gets $20." "That's more like it!" the man said. He looked around the room and pointed to a stunningly attractive redhead. "I'd like her for the night." "I'm sure you would, sir," said the Madame while gesturing to a grotesque woman in her seventies in the corner, "But Ethel here has seniority."
  18. Valentino's - wow - there was a "settling of accounts" in the parking lot there in 1991. Not long after there was a fire. The murder trial ended with a manslaughter plea.
  19. I vote for the Bonobo - make love not war! "Who said that violence is the only way to solve fights over food or territory? Instead of fighting, bonobos have sex! Actually, their whole societal structure seems to revolve around sex. Bonobos use sex as greetings, a mean of solving disputes, making up for fights, and as a favors in exchange for food. They tongue kiss, engage in oral sex, mutual masturbations, have face-to-face genital sex and even have a strange "penis fencing" ritual!"
  20. Happy Birthday Meg, try to stay warm on this frigid day. Although I am sure that you can think of some fun ways to stay warm!
  21. This is a CBC documentary on addiction. Hard to watch. Impossible not to empathize with the young woman who is an SP. Most SP's are not addicts. Some are, as in any walk of life. What this documentary does is to approach the topic in an open and sensitive manner. All Members of Parliament should watch it. So should police officers. It might encourage people to be more understanding and less judgmental. I apologize if this has already been commented upon. I did a search and did not see any thread on it.
  22. The fact that the accused may have been an escort is as relevant to the story as the fact that the victim was an engineer. There are fraudsters in every walk of life. Too bad that the Citizen chose to focus on that part of the story.
  23. Not to hijack this thread but a growing trend is that tips in restaurants are not just being shared (with the buss boy, bar tender and dishwasher) but the house is taking a cut of the tips to cover their costs. Credit card issuers may take the first 3 to 5%. I now ask in advance how it works and if the house takes a cut I pay the tip in cash.
  24. I have spent some time there. It is a constantly changing country. Keep your eyes open for cameras. They are everywhere in the hotels - lobby, elevator, hallways. I did not find any in my room - but they did go into my mini-safe, tried my computer (encrypted drive) and even the business cards that I had collected (came back from dinner and they had been alphabetized). I would expect no privacy and be concerned about blackmail.
  25. I am not concerned. On the upper floors of hotels (7 and up) I am not too worried, unless there is an office building or another hotel across the street looking right in my window. If the lights are off/low people outside are not going to see much. Even with the lights on they will need really good eyes to see the "naughty bits" lol.
