    With the boom construction in Ottawa, contractors (who I deal with daily/weekly) are actually so busy that "they bite off more than they can chew." They will book with you but only have you hanging on because they want the additional business, fully knowing they can't squeeze it in or they try too. Which in return pisses off people/customers like yourself Meg. I too, went through the same issue, but now have 1-3 very excellent handy men that are " jack of all trades", and their business has flourished by simple word of mouth. Yes, they are actually making good money that they figure they can treat customers like dirt or secondary. As far as the washing machine, well there again is unreliable service which personally I would give them a piece of my mind, by going to the top.

    Last night at 5 and 6 pm it was really slow, but that could be possibly due to the number of members active and online, now this morning it has been really quick.

    Thought I might cheer you up :) As for deposits it would not work in your favor, many gents would back away from that idea, it would affect your biz a lot more. Like you said, he pays up front in there is a next time. Chin up my Mistress ;) Additional Comments: I might agree to a point, I'm certain he probably has a cell, so there was reason not to call/text to give notice, even if it was exceptional circumstances. I have had to cancel(very seldom I might add ;) ) but I have had given enough notice by call or text before the appointment, it is just common courtesy.

    I never fish around, I look,seek and book with confirmation from both parties... end of discussion. There has been at times, where I would text/call a lady the "day of",that I know her very well to see if she is available, for a certain time that day, 95% we book. I may send a email or pm to that lady if I'm looking for that "day of",if she does not respond to myself I take it she is busy, and I would ask another. I always book in advance to ensure my time slot,and my scheduling, it always works out for the better. ;) Hope this makes sense ladies :)
