In the past couple of weeks I received a couple of pm's from male members requesting that hobbiest put in their top ten reasons for selecting a date with an SP. I personally do not have a top 10 list for selecting a SP, but I'm sure if others were to participate the top 10 reasons would assist others in their selection process. Currently/old Union contract, the Union schedules their drivers, so there is of course alot of down time being paid out, while they sit on their ass,not at work. Full timers top in the seniority list, get to work 3 or 4 days in a week get the best routes,best days off and the junior guys get the shaft, currently the senior F/T drivers can make up to 100k in overtime by simply taking overtime when the junior guys says- I'm sick. Of course the union loves the scheduling,they get the best of both worlds (except junior drivers) Since when does a Union dictate the scheduling of employee's? When I was working for a Company in the private sector I scheduled 200 employee's both Full-time and part-time total. When my shifts were completed they were handed over to the Union to better the shifts, or match the shifts getting the best possible coverage 24 hours 7 days a week. The Union would bid of the shifts based on seniority for F/T for a 6 month period,and then we change again depending on requirements after 6 months. Part timers had their schedule for a month at a time and bidded on. Not once did the Union ever better my scheduling. In management we were the ones dictating the bottom line- cost vs down time. I feel nothing for these bus drivers and feel pissed off for the city allowing for the mess in the 1st place! God I'm glad I now work for myself.

I would be sincerely pissed off, if it was going on. As Dummpy states above.."playing by the rules" Seriously just a freaking scam/sham... BS. I would feel for the SP if this ever came out, I'm know I would not put any thought into the (BS) recommendation.

Question 1- There is more SP's available in Ottawa, then 2 years ago when I started here on CERB. I first lurked for 6 months then joined only because the announcement/contacts were much better then the other resources..ie..Sun paper ..CL. because I got burnt through those ad's. Question 3- Yes CERB has attributed to my personal change, HOW?- I certainly have met alot of great ladies through here, and continue to share communication through pm or personal emails. In most circumstances it is a 1 hour visit,but have done the 2 hour visits as well. The shorter visits are due to employment, unfortunately have to go back to office..(but sometimes a hour visit turns into a 2 hour visit if I'm able too).:lol: Some of the local SP's are also excellent with the no-rush attitude where you stay a over your hour visit with no charge, so 95% of my time is booked for an hour visit.:mrgreen:
