I have done it on a blanket by the beach at dusk a few times in my personal life.. but a hilarious one was when I was shooting a movie in LA. I've had a few trampling clients over the years and have never used a board in between myself and the client. I think it would interesting to try but since I've only done this as requested by the client obviously they've never brought it up. I have worked with disabled clients.. I don't think any special training is needed other than the ability to listen (they will tell you what they need and how) and compassion.
