Well I now that sometimes hanging on them does put undo pressure on them and they get twisted! This is a great thread Erin, I am just surprised that no one has divulged a little hidden Gem that I have not eaten at yet? There are over 2000 liquor licenses in Ottawa so there has got to be some cool spot that I have missed?

I think he is over worked, it is very very hard to find a GP in Ottawa, he did get my mother diagnosed and in the hospital from treatment for her cancer with in 10 days of her showing up at his office with stomach pains. I think he just worries about the stuff that kill his patients more than the stuff that is looked after routinely buy other specialties. He rarely spends much time with me it either not an issue or I am whisked off to a specialist. He has been my families Dr. for 27 years and seen an awful lot of us (brothers sisters nieces nephews) through an awful lot of situations (divorces, permiscuity, hi blood pressure, heart attacks and cancer) and has never fucked up. I think he just beleives that STD/STI testing is not his best use of time, if you got it it's either an easy fix or a big problem, but either way it is either a nurse simple fix (99.9999999999% of the time) or it's too late. And the reality is that he has freed a huge amount of time by not testing for all these years and sending me to the clinc were they have alwasy found me fit and fine. Even if after all these years it meant that only one person like my mom found out in time that they had cancer than he is right. I don't need him to order a blood test for Clap (and get the results three weeks later!), I do need him to spot early signs of Cancer.

I have been avoiding this thread because I am such a food snob! Cowboy gotta agree with you about Prime 360 place is pitiful compared to the real steak houses of NYC (they still have the sea green decor from when the place was Noah's in the 80's!!!) 18 in the market can be good but it is hit and miss. Empire grill is a classic Ottawa spot again probably over priced for what you get but it has history. Al's on Elgin has History!! The owners Daughter at the New May Fung or whatever Erin said is outstanding!! I think the food is good but I get so easily distracted. Gastro Pub on Wellington has some very good eats The Wine Bar in the market home of the $12 fries is always a great place for a date and not very expensive (you get a steak as a side with the fries) I find the beer and decor at Pub Italia is intoxicating the food sucks I do like the deep fried pickels at the Heart and Crown also on Preston Street It does not get much more honest than the Prescott! (mmmm Meat Balls!) And is it just me or are the sandwiches at Direnzios starting to slide? Oh and I have 2 insider tips of the week 1) Coconut Lagoon on St. Laurent looks like a dive however the Cheff owner is a highly awarded international cheff from India with awards and ackolads from all over the world check out the $10 lunch bufffet!!! 2) Peter the little Italina guy that owns Bonkers on Wellington is a decorated Italian cheff who put Giovanis on the Map in the 80's and 90's go in and see him for his daily specail ususally aroun $6 it is as good or better than anything you will get on Preston st.! I alos realy like dropping into Fetuccini's on Elgin for the Pasta of the day it is all made fresh on site and it is very good. Swiss Pasteris on Richmond rd. has a deli counter and it is fantastic, of course the local made desserts are not shabby either and try the presure brewed coffee. I should stop now or I will ruin my book sales!! Ottawa's Restaurant and food guide :D (just kidding about the book I know some of you beleive every word I say)

For a while I did see my family Dr. he blew me off because I wanted testing every 3 months. He believes that is ridiculous and a waist of his time, if I want the kind of frequency he insist I go to the clinic, they do ask the name of my family Dr. and I assume that if anything consequential was ever found they would report it. A few years ago they spotted early signs of a hernia and that saved me considerable pain and suffering! The first time my Dr. sent me to the clinic it was on Freil that was the early 90's.

It's funny in 2007, 2008 I was averaging about $4000 a month on SP's. Yes times were good! Since the fall my business took a nose dive (ya the whole recession thing) and I have been in the $400-500 a month range. However an interesting side effect to this has happened, as you can guess I had several ladies that I would visit per month in the years gone past, in fact I had the Dummpy Fav5 going for a while (thanks ladies those times were great). Now over the past 8 months of severe cut backs different people have shown different character! Some ladies have become nasty and felt I was "ignoring them" some ladies have been very supportive and still return my PM's are patiently wating for times to get better. And a few even kept in contact to the point of wanting to meet for Breakfast/Lunch/Coffee and even a few freebies! I guess the lesson learned out of all this is I know who my friends are and it is clear the diference between a paper chaser and a friend. So, A) thanks to all my freinds for hanging in there, and B) don't worry paper chasers the bank roll is starting to build again!

I can understand both sides to the story, the ladies have to screen people quickly and with very little to go on but gut instinct (some do it better than others). One thing that can make the emailing easier for an sp is to keep a few form letters in the draft folder of you email, when you get inquires you can simply copy and paste. You can have some for the popular questions 1. do you have any more pictures and/or any pictures 2. how much do you charge 3. what kind of service and/or restrictions 4. what part of town are you in etc.. etc.. Just a thought, if you refer them to your site provide a url, if you refer them to a review include a url etc...

Here is my public service announcement this should help Sherm, funny thing about this place I think they are all vampires cause they tie you down and insist on taking blood! They also have the new pin prick for Aids thingy (you know the one that kills you, far worse than the stuff no one heard of and is undetectable) if you prick negative you are fine but about half the time apparently you prick inconclusive and have to wait. http://www.ottawa.ca/residents/health/living/sexual/clinic_en.html It is a rather bizarre excursion and not the best circumstances or place to meet for a social event, but if you are planning on going trust me it is much easier with a buddy or 2 (I would rather go to traffic court!).

The rising tied raises all ships, the more we write the more ladies get praised the more they make the higher the profile for the board the more ladies will come on and promote and the more people who will turn to the board for information etc... etc.... etc... The opposite is also true if we try to discourage individuals from writing by punishing them for there admissions than the board will become useless cyberspace. It only takes one bad apple, if we join together to keep this a safe place by calling out the bad apples than the board can flourish and get better. These bad apples will not simple pick on one person and then decide that they have had there fun and never return, they will continue to peck and when they are gone more will come to peck we need to keep vigilant and make a stand to not put up with it, if someone sends you something fishy out of context or hurtful pass it on to the mod who can deal with it appropriately. Have a look at the sad state affairs we are in, reviews are far and few between, chat is basically imploded, people are afraid to say anything because of a few people, lets get it straightened out.

Hey all, Not sure how many of you faithfully or unfaithfully go to the STD clinic on Murray street. It is a funny place because everyone there is there because they likes sex, but no one talks to anyone and everyone stairs at the floor in a very somber mood. I always want to smile and yell out hey fellow sex addicts I guess we know who is getting laid now! Any way to help me pass the time I usually try to talk someone into coming with me, plus it takes a while to get through the process and company is about the only thing that keeps me from going insane. So here is the plan, I am going to eat breakfast at Dunn's on the corner of George and Dalhousie for 8:00am on this coming Friday May 15th and then head over to the clinic. Doors open at 9:00am clinic starts at 9:30am. We should be gone by 10:30am, message me if you are interested in joining me on the visit.

thanks Emma, Part of my dilemma is "a lot" of members that are regulars of the ladies are saying that if the SP's see me they will NOT visit them? I laughed at the idea at first but it has come up a few times. So if being associate with me is causing them a lose in business than the review is counter productive don't you think? Maybe the members that have issue with seeing a lady that I have seen can chime in here? I am not sure what it is about me that scares you away? Trust me if I am carrying a horrible disease than the entire SP population is already heavily infected! They will not love you less because they have seen me. And they probably have already seen me and the damage is done I will be creating the Dummpy Blog and it will be an expose of the ridiculous BS, I am gathering steam with my research and the A-H's will be exposed very soon, you will be surprised who among us is up to their necks in it. As time goes on this blog will be in a similar style to the CK blog but instead of exposing Bait and Switch and shifty operators it will be dedicated to exposing email BS'ers and smear campaigns right in our own back yard! Unless there is a compelling reason to keep subjecting the ladies to discrimination because they have seen me I will delete my posts in the recommendation area. I would not want to taint their honor anymore than it already has been.
