The other great one is the forcing sex acts, that one is great too and let’s not forget the user name switch. At least there are not that many Dwarfs out there so the SP would be very suspicious!! The games are appalling; if you get an email or PM from an unknown ignore it. I used to trust everyone until the trust was betrayed, now I only trust after you have earned my trust, cerb has gotten to big to be a small village we are now a large town. Well I can tell you that if I did click on those emails promising to give me an inch I would have a dick bigger than my house by now! Like everything in life if it's to good to be true... I have made lots of purchases over the internet however you do need to be very careful, with drugs they need to clear customs and that can be tricky. If you can find a Canadian supplier or you order no prescription no regulated food items or natural supplements than sometimes they are allowed. It is buyer be ware for sure. I have done it in the past and been reasonably successful if anyone is interested in more info just PM me. You need to consider broker fees and shipping fees to determine if the price is actually lower than a local supplier, if you can actually get the stuff and it is not confiscated by customs.

I was looking back to the eighties and I never spent more than $140 and usually around $60-80, through the nineties I spent my first 200's. Now I consider it a lucky day at $200. So for my experience prices have gone up. I think that careers change over time as well, a lady in her 20's looking hot will be able to consistently ask for more than someone who is not. There are many ladies around asking $400 these days and they are the hot 20 somethings with great personalities and positive attitudes. Providers are free to ask what they want, and clients are able to choose what they believe is the best value for them. If a provider believes that their service should be $1000 than that is what they can ask. I know that in the 80's if I had met a lady that was asking $250 it would have been cost prohibitive for me for sure, the better ladies were $140-160. At least in Ottawa. In 91 I know for absolute certainty that the prices were 100 for a half and 160 for an hour, the better girls did not do halves.

Incomes have not kept pace with many expenses. Real estate is a prime example, housing prices have gone up 10X the average home in 1971 was 27,000 now in 2008 it was 281K (Ottawa prices of course). If most people look at the average compensation for there job in 1971 and compare it to today they will see that there income has not gone up 10x. Just have a look at minimum wage in Ontario, it was $1.65 in 1971 and today it is $8.75 I think this is a good indicator of the average wage increase over the past 40 years and this indicates an average increase of 5x. So while many expenses have increased 10x the incomes have increased 5x and left much less disposable income. Disposable income = luxuries and pampering. As we expand our boarders and increase our import and export we also create a more even playing field for wages. The global economy is not finished with us yet. I had a co-worker that I became friends with when I was in High-tech, we had come from eastern Europe to build a better life and to start a family with his wife also from eastern Europe. We was a network administrator and very talented. In Eastern Europe he was paid approximately $1000/month. For the same job he got $10,000/ month here. In the 2005 he was laid off and we lost touch, I recently met a mutual friend who told me that his wife and children are doing great and that he is now commuting to Hong Kong for work!!! For the same job he is now paid $50,000k/month, and after expenses of living and commuting is left with about $20k/month for savings. I do not think that is a collective of clients brain washing SP's to charge less, the way clients do that is by choosing not to take the service if they feel the rate is too high (the demand), they can only do that if they are given options (the supply). History is full examples of times when suppliers have tampered with prices and through collusion or monopolies have temporarily raised prices but ultimately it boils down to supply and demand. JC to simply say that is not right and not to propose another possibility is not right, if you feel we are missing a piece of the puzzle and that other factors at play say what?s on your mind.

In 1991 when I was involved on the other side of the business the advertising costs were several hundred per week for the news paper ads, the cell phone bill was always in or around $1000 a month. I had Office space and business phone lines etc... most of the girls referred to themselves as $100 girls, times have changed. Now all you need is an internet connection a pay as you go cellphone with a $50 card every week and bingo, you can even get a pay as you go credit card now!! The price for entry is much lower and the information is far easier to get look at cerb alons and multiply it by the 3-4 other good resources out there. Strangely enough many things have not gone up in price and many things have come down. A good suite is still $300, a loaf of bread is still .99 A decent pari of shoes is still $50 etc... Business lines are less than half price, cell phone minutes are 10% what they used to be. The internet has totaly changed the marketing dynamic and cost of advertsiing. I can still eat at McDonals (If I would ever want to) for $5.00.

Different markets require different strategies. The reality is that the market is in a down turn and also we are in Ottawa and have a very "Walmart" approach to value. In a larger urban center you can have a better response to premium service (NYC, LA, etc...). Also in better markets you can produce incredible statistics by raising prices. When Mercedes Benz first came to North America they had a global price strategy, the MB240 was basically the same price as a Volvo 240 or a little but more than a Chevy. Over the early 80's MB started to gather a cult status among the US rich and famous and every time they increased their price they increased their market share! This reached a critical mass in the late 80's. Now if we look at MB and their current marketing they are all about the B and C class being price leaders. Before you all jump on me about how I have not facts etc... I am just speculating based on other market research I have done on various products and services that I have considered and I do not think that High-end sales have ever done well in Ottawa, we have one Holt Renfrew and it is not stalked anywhere near as well as the ones in the larger centers around the country, our malls that have the third floor reserved for exclusive rodeo drive type business usually can't actually attract them and end up with far less than they aimed for. However Ottawa has a lot of dollar stores and Walmarts don't ya think? I have known SP's that charge extra because the first visit is a minimum 2 hours and if they click they make a special rate for return visits, I think this strategy also works, if someone has the extra to pay the first visit and things click they probably have the financial means to repeat often, if the value is clear and obvious. Sorry if I have gone off on a tangent and none of what said makes sense to you. I guess the bottom line is if Mercedes Benz can have sale you should not think any less of a lady that has a sale or makes a special offer.

Some people are more responsive in live chat than in online forums, the chat gives people who adapt better to real time a chance to get involved. This may be off topic but I think it fits in to what some of you are saying. In the past I have witnessed SP's do a few very good promotions. The first one that I like a lot and a few around here are doing is the lottery One client a week gets a free hour or some variation. The second one I like is the every 4th visit is free or some variation again (could be 5th etc...) and I also very much like the monthly service fee (kind of like the gym or tanning salon) weekly visits for a monthly fee! I have always found the pay what you want thing to be a little unnerving and I am sure that new people must be truly confused by it and the shy types probably down right intimidated. I too have been fascinated with the business side of the business for a long time, but I guess that is because I am not a lofty thinker just a run of the mill paper chaser.

I know 2 very successful ladies that do this, they don't advertise online and they don't have computers. They run adds in the paper and word of mouth and have a booming business, they have bee reviewed from time to time on the boards and with happy clients. The good thing about this business is unlike a coffee shop if someone comes along and low balls you you don't have to see them again, in the coffee shop you can't stop people at the door and say hay buddy you paid too little last time you can't come back in. When the lady looks in the eye and says "you pay what think is right", or "you pay what you think is fair" then you are going to pay a reasonable fee. It does have to be done in a spirit of giving and not as a negotiation. As soon as you start asking what they want it gets mucky. Also I think it easier to determine the value after the visit but this goes against conventional SP wisdom, although both the ladies I mentioned collect after the appointment. Personally this has always been my strategy anyway, I know the ladies say a price but if I feel it is too low I give them extra or top up with some cool gifts. If the lady is too expensive I just take a pass.

Grieving is a personal thing, and the relationship you had was very private and personal. I still from time to time visit my parents grave site and it is still there many many years after the funerals. This is very good advice there is nothing wrong with going and paying your respects any time.
