Oh man - only yesterday I was thinking about how much I missed her. Being a fictional character, I can legally pole vault over the heap of guys piled outside her door.

Something about the Maritimes
Jabba replied to Jabba's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Oh yeah, Cape Breton is one of my favs! Loved your story too! I think I'm leaning toward the East coast. Not that I'm biased, but it's closer. I have a buddy who did the Cabot Trail on bicycle. Can you imagine what your legs would feel like after a full day of riding? -
Something about the Maritimes
Jabba replied to Jabba's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
I guess I was really asking an open-ended question on reflection. It's like I'm a kid in in a candy store with no clear idea what I want. Maybe I want to revisit my youth. I remember the Eastern Maritimes as adventure and unbelievable scenery. There are just so many incredible sights I remember in my mind's eye. In the East, the colourful homes by the ocean; the Annapolis Valley, Cavendish Beach... ooooh but, wait - there's The Rock. Never been there. Gotta go. I remember the Western coast in it's own right as a landscape where every curve is a completely different story - so full of dark mystery, of tall trees, discovery of waterfalls..then barren, flat, one-horse towns in the middle of no-where. I love them both and their beauty is unique. I'm torn. -
There is an allure to the Canadian coasts that has haunted me for many years. I was but a young lad when I first traveled to the Eastern Province locations (not in any particular order): Shediac, Baddeck, Peggy's Cove, New Glasgow, Cabot Trail, PEI, Flower Pot Rocks, Bay of Fundy, Sydney, Frederickton, Moncton, Halifax. Goodness knows how many other spots I've missed. In my older years, I've been to the West coast: Vancouver, Vancouver Island, Squamish. In my 2nd older years, I've been to Maine...including Kennebunkport, Portland, Wells Beach, Ogunquit, Cocoa Beach, Titusville, Cape Canaveral, Wrightsville Beach, etc.. Maybe it's my Canadian pride, but by far I prefer the Canadian landscape! Each coast has it's own flavour and own seafood specialties. I'm an Ottawa guy, but I need to do another visit. Any recommendations?

A meatloaf muffin with sprinkles?

Look you two - I can see where this is going...and I have two words: STOP IT! Despite it's shortcomings, meat loaf should not be sexualized. For God's sake - is nothing sacred??!!

Conspiracy theories you believe
Jabba replied to Cara Silver's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Personally, I believe that all conspiracies are the religion of fools. I know for a fact that Oswald shot JFK. And that's the truth - I was there! I know for a fact that Area 51 is now officially known as Area 32 I know for a fact that Elvis likes to shop at Walmart. -
Just what the hell is this hideous, drooling barf log called meatloaf?? Just what is this wet, nasty traditional delicacy supposed to accomplish exactly, except to provide gag fodder for poor, innocent little kids? Whenever my parents decided to inflict this decidedly horrid mess to the dinner table, I opted to fake sudden malaria or cancer. The subtefuge didn't work. Damn!...my parents knew all the tricks! Ha - I pulled out my classic moves. I filled my mouth with the disgusting mess to the point of exploding. My cheeks loaded like a chipmunk I then asked to be excused to go to the bathroom "Mai ay pleathed guh tuh thu bafrum?". Once there, I emptied the mouth baggage into the toilet & joyfully flushed the gick away. I wonder how many times my parents would fall for the same excuse - cuz there was more than a mouthful on my plate! Let's just say, I had the trots that evening. Is meatloaf like Fruitbread? Is meatloaf like Tortier? Is meatloaf like Mincemeat or Bread Pudding? Why oh why is there meatload? Does anyone actually like the stuff?

I've been thoroughly amused by some authors descriptions of Hell. By far, my favourite book was called "Inferno" (authored in 1976 - Larry Niven and Jerry Pournelle). Now there's a sequel by the same guys called "Escape from Hell". The original book was modeled after Dante's epic poem "Divine comedy". Hell apparently has 10 descending circles or levels. 3 guesses where the boss lives. It's a great read and should keep you awake at night. But, I digress. We've all seen the Bugs Bunny cartoon where Yosemity Sam goes to Hell. Silly, eh? Who thought-up the thing with the demons with the tail & pitchfork? Personally, I think of Hell as a bureaucratic nightmare filled with Lawyers (sorry, but it's true), politicians, CEOs and other sodomites. Have I insulted everyone yet? I just don't buy into the Heaven/Hell thing. It's got to be really boring for Angels to lying about on clouds and strumming harps or lutes or whatever. Just the same, demons (otherwise known as middle management) can't really be motivated for all eternity by jabbing souls with pitchforks. I know I'm probably going to get hate mail for challenging religious icons. I think they have a special spot reserved for me. After all, I am a gangster. They'll probably start me off in the mailroom like all newbies. It will only take me an eternity to climb the corporate ladder. It's a good thing I'm a "People Person", otherwise, I'd be stuck with assholes like Hitler. Does Hell have a fond personal space in your heart?

Porn during session YAY or NAY?
Jabba replied to Victoria Banks's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
I've had a few sessions where it was actually a blessing. But under normal circumstances, I prefer to focus on the occasion and not the acting. -
She told me (shortly before Christmas) she was going back to Japan for a month.

I was thinking on installing some security cams & lighting around the house. Had some vandalism this past Autumn which is just plain annoying. I would like to capture image of the drunk-ass little F#cker just so his parents will be so embarrassed they would disown him. 1st time in 14 years this happened to me. I've heard of other crap that regularly happens to my neighbours, so I guess I should consider myself lucky. Saw an advert for a security system that can be activated/monitored from anywhere on the internet. Sometimes I think this security thing can be a little too overboard - I think the commercials like to play on paranoia. I was thinking on installing cameras for the front door, over the garage, side yards & backyard. I like the front door camera and intercom thing in combination with a sprinkler system for Salesmen/Mormons. I have vivid fantasies that involve permanent & lurid orange coloured dyes. Does anyone have any experience or useful advice to offer?

Super Heros Who Wear Capes
Jabba replied to Jabba's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
It looks like she's getting poked in the back of the head with something!:dncdick: -
A fashion statement? Who the hell wears a cape these days without attracting attention. A cape is handy for anyone who needs to cover a major boner or camel toe. Personally, I think a cape is a hold-over from Victorian values. Back in the early day - a cape represents a flourish of class & mistery without much of a costume change For both super guys and super chicks! Super Man Super Girl (why not Super Woman?) BatMan Wonder Woman Martian Manhunter Rocket Robin Hood Who did I miss?

Have you ever met a person where the warmth of the encounter continues to glow long after? I think that's called Chemistry. Well, I just met that person and her name is Aaliya! Aaliya's first day (yesterday) at Paradise was prime opportunity for me to make my move to be customer numero uno. It was a slightly shaky start due to travel issues, but my confidence was restored when I saw the young lady (right on time I might add) walk into the reception area. Aaliya is a genuinely nice young lady who despite not feeling her best, dove right in to make me feel special. She's a very attractive woman with a model's smile. Legs up to her neck! She's very attentive and wants to ensure you have a great experience. For her first day and her first customer and under challenging circumstances - I think she did a great job. I'll be back for sure. I highly recommend Aaliya. Go see her!

How do you feel about bdsm?
Jabba replied to Malika Fantasy's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
I thought I knew BDSM. I have an interest. Therefore, after some study, I know the subtext. I thought I knew the traditional roles: Master/Slave/Dom/Sub/Bottom/Top/Switch, etc I thought I knew the tools: Whips, Restraints, Gags, Toys, etc. I thought I knew the games: Power Play, Breath Control, Role Reversal, Pain & gratification, Denial, etc. What do I really know? Even though I know the techniques, I know nothing of the triggers. Just the same as a person imitates behaviours without knowing the reasons. I've shared some sessions ...with mixed results. I've always assumed a Dom position because I have trust issues. The person I was interacting with was very intuitive and decided I was ok to play with. I took care of her & did not treat her badly or objectify her as just meat that needs a good tenderizing. I have a lot to learn despite my experiences. An open mind have I, but true understanding takes a willingness to relearn trust, openess & relationships. I'm not even sure BDSM is a form for sexual release - although I'm certain it happens. But what happens for example, in pure FemDom or MaleDom situations where there is no sexual contact whatsoever?...This is where I get lost. -
With all due respect to the main players: Mashed potatoes Stuffing Yams Carrots Peas Turkey Chocolate (some consider this to be a food staple) None of the above would serve any useful purpose if it wasn't for the holy grail of necessity; the god-particle of christian holidays; the silky saviour of culinary delight. I speak of course of "gravy". Think of it - nothing melds together the flavours of the individual vegetables & burned roadkill like home brewed gravy. I speak not of the sugar laden, starchy glue made by the likes of St. Hubert, Swiss Chalet or the King of Coronaries - KFC. No, I mean the delicate balance of rendering the meat juices together with the appropriate choice of spice & herb. Gravy is it's own food group that can literally be poured over the main course and dessert alike. Gravy, my own private paradise.

This is precisely my point RG. If you are willing to let someone else determine your business model, then you get what you deserve. If you leave it up to the so-called "boss" who puts you on unpaid retainer, then backs-out without pay - you have just given him permission to screw you over. This is why a retainer or cancellation fee has such relevance here...but oddly, no SP/MP seems to want to take ownership over the concept. This is where I take exception to those who proudly demand compensation, but wimp-out over when asked "how much?" I'm coming to the conclusion that a cancellation fee is fine in concept, but in practice it is something that, for various reasons, cannot be applied equally among clientele. Thank you Megan for clarifying this. I do appreciate that Erin brought this discussion to light. I really do. In future, I will be much more careful in how I qualify SP/MPs for their suitability w.r.t my "business model". I will now ask about the cancellation policy.
-
Yes, I agree April. I do think they are a great idea. And in that spirit, I think it's an even better idea to promote the possible cancellation penalties because it means a little more security for SPs in the future. It qualifies your clientele. It seems that most ladies are up front about their service expectations and restrictions, I also think every lady should be up front about their business expectations (which incidently includes full disclosure about cancellation policies). As a business person myself, I also expect full disclosure on an SP's "business model". As a client, I too have a "business model" which includes my own understanding of exclusions & penalties. I expect an SP to be totally up front about what is being transacted...just as the SP expects to be compensated for an understanding of services with their client. My confusion now is that SPs seem to be backtracking on their own requirements. They seem to want to be free to charge a cancellation fee, but they are reluctant to be up front about declaring the ground rules for their own policy. I'm now confused about what is acceptable & what isn't. As a business person, I find this to be totally arbitrary and maybe a little deceptive. Maybe someone can lend some eloquent words to work around my perception?

What shall we talk about?
Jabba replied to Phaedrus's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Ummm - can you expand a little about the relevance your post has to do with this thread? -
In the interests of clearly stating their appointment policies, maybe MAs/SPs should also advertise that people who reschedule will be charged a cancellation fee?

Jabba replied to Phaedrus's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
I think the thread has gone slightly off-track from the OP's observations. It might be helpful if it was restated. Phaedrus, let me know if I've highjacked your intent. 1. Some Cerb individuals/cliques are trying to shut-down or unrighteously influence threads or subjects they don't like. 2. Individuals/cliques who try to shut-down a thread stunts the growth of the forum & nullifies the value of original posts. These types of characters give the site a nasty flavour. 3. Individuals/cliques who try to shut-down a thread use nasty comments as a form of intimidation or to get the thread discredited. 4. Threads that don't fit exactly into a category are getting trashed. 5. Openness to different opinions begets good business for Cerb & it's affiliates. Plain enough? -
