  1. I do like this idea for last minute bookings. It would be a great addition to CERB. As said by others previously, I also book in advance. But I have had the provider cancel or not be there, so a last minute availability site could be useful. But only if it is supported by our providers. I'm not sure there is a consensus there.
  2. Judging by other posts, yours is not an uncommon situation. It is great that you can let us know of the situation so we can avoid a B&S situation. You may want to post your finding in the Warnings section. It seems to be there for this purpose. I'm not sure of the rules, but I think you can be more specific there as to who the culprit is. Thanks again for bringing this to our attention.

  5. Sounds like a good idea. Are you maybe talking about a scheduling system that could show who is available say right now, or maybe in two hours from now or even to see who is available next Wednesday at 2:30. new challenge for you mod.

  7. MOD, you are correct, we must act with honour and with respect. I am sure there are a number who must be identified to protect our ladies. I am not against that. My question has more to do with, could a provider take a disliking or have a misunderstanding with an good client, then slam dunk that person without their knowledge or ability to respond. I know it would be a hornets nest to open the SP area and I do not honestly expect or request that it happen. I just believe this is an area where some open discussion will be interesting.

  9. CERB is really filling a great role for Ottawa. The MOD's attention to decorum and the support of the members makes this great. I certainly find that there is more activity on CERB now than other boards that are becoming less useful. Well done and thanks MOD and members.

  11. I must admit, the daddy thing would cause me to stop, but just a moment. Although honey is soooo much sweeter. As has been said it's all in a persons experience/back ground as to what will come out in a passionate moment.
  12. On one hand sites for SP's to check clients is great and should help the noshow problem. On the other, through CERB and other boards SP's are welcome to view, learn from, comment and occasionally correct a clients review. However on the SP board clients have no idea what is said about them, there is no opportunity to improve upon any concerns raised or to reply/respond to any bad "reviews". Or to pick up on what is enjoyed by a particular provider so that joy can be repeated. I guess this really is cause for an open question. Should hobbyists be provided limited acces to SP review boards or not? Should there be a way to contact a mod for access to information? :confused:

  14. I'd have to agree with the anonymous poll. I can't see the value an open poll would add, other than a bit of kidding back and forth. In fact, if it was an open poll, with voters names public, I am not sure I would trust the results as much. Just my 2 cents.

  16. I agree, if the provider is in the DNR list I will not review. Most of the time the provider has already been reviewed and maybe only a "me too" needs to be added. But if there hasn't been a recent review then it is helpful for both the provider and us cerbites to hear your experience. As to details, that is very much dependent on your comfort level.
  17. Congo: If you lurk for a bit you should get a good idea as to options. But for a consistent, no surprises, great experience you should really try out CMJ. You will find pictures on this board and if you PM CMJ you will be on your way. They are located in the Merivale/Hunt Club area which may be a concern for you. But don't let that stand in your way, it is a great place to spend some time.

  20. I can't disagree as to pretty paige's hotness, charm, beauty and sole, but I'm afraid that doesn't count in this nomination. Check the Mods requirements, particularly #3.
  21. The way it seems to work is that you can book an appointment without providing any names. Once there you will be provided the membership documentation required and at that time I would suggest you raise your concern about real names. If you are unhappy with the process, you can leave and still be anonymous. Try to keep in mind that many existing members would have had the same concern and have become members. I don't see that you have anything to lose, but everything to gain. Then again, Michelle is hard to beat.
  22. Actually, I saw that, but thought the question should be raised anyway. Why isn't that area or another being used to review clients. There must be a better way to minimize no shows, rather than to make it hard to see new clients. I have only once had to cancel a meeting, but I was able to provide about 12 hrs notice and it would have been more if I knew of the changing situation earlier. But I have been stood up on a number of occasions. I suspect a number of them have been visitors fed up with no shows and leaving early. But that said I have also not been able to setup appointments with some SP's because they don't know I can be relied upon. It's frustrating and you have to want to see that SP REAL bad to go through the hassle sometime caused. I'd like to see it come to an end. In talking to an SP recently I was surprised they get a significant number of dates from the SUN. I wonder if there is any breakdown of noshows by email bookings, SUN bookings or CERB PM booking? I suspect the SUN calls would be less reliable than CERB bookings. I suspect our concerned SP's could reduce noshow's with a little more shared information from their piers.
  23. Krusty, that is a question you need to answer for your self. But make an appointment and the crew at CMJ will be glad to answer your questions. If you are still concerned, leave. but you won't, that I would bet. go for it......
  24. dguy, thanks for helping others who were maybe holding back from joining CMJ. Hopefully those who were concerned about this different approach can relax a bit now, join up and enjoy the experience, again and again and again..........
