From what I gather, the prosecution is pretty much complicit in allowing these guys to plea the way they did, so to me that's a tacit admission by the prosecution of errors in the state's case against these guys. The ugly question is who really did it and are they still walking around ... With any luck, they got hit by a bus.

I agree its not fair just because they are both called "dollars." They are two separate currencies, and customers should pay CN dollars. Best exchange rates are usually at ATM machines, but that's withdrawal only. Banks can vary as to their retail exchange rate. If, due to not having enough CN currency, I wanted to pay in US, I'd always give an exchange rate that is very generous to the lady (to the next nearest whole percent (if 1.02, then 1.05 or more) and then only if its OK with her in advance.

I would say some of the "Luv" sisters from a few years ago. I think they are mostly retired now or married.

Dont forget to come back and remind us when the rate goes back in the other direction! (smile) As of today, the rate appears to be about 1.02 to 1.03 US for $1 CN. Wholesale its about a 1.011 US to $1 CN, but its hard to get that.

You've actually gotten some really complete replies already. I have never had someone request where I work, but I had someone request a photo. That, too, would be a non-starter for me as would giving out my full name. No, by no means were you out of line, but the rule of thumb is that the ladies can ask whatever they want and the guys can decide whether they are willing to do that or not. Another way to view this is that you need to understand that the ladies need to feel secure, but you shouldn't do something you are uncomfortable with or feel you have to give up whatever anonymity you wish to have. As long as you are polite, you should never be called a jerk, nor would I consider a lady a jerk if she asked for a full medical and credit history. A callback number is an almost universal prerequisite and a request for references from other SPs is perfectly reasonable. One great way is to contribute to a forum like this over a period of time so the ladies get to know you a bit and see you're not nuts (smile).

mrnice -- If you do go ahead and decide to say something to them, I'm sure we would be interested to hear how it goes. Maybe your kids are really understanding, but I suspect you are going to end up on the defensive trying to justify your activities either directly or by virtue of them assuming some of the stereotypes that people tend to have. You have certainly earned the right at your age to do what you want, particularly given your situation. Or maybe you are just looking for someone to whom you are close to talk to face to face about your hobbying activities and your kids seem to be the right ones? I would just be very cautious not to assume the conversation is going to perfectly and happily. Best wishes in any case.

Duos seem really really tricky ... its always something I've wanted to try, but I'd probably want to already "know" (in the SP sense) one of the ladies. Sooo, you have to get to know one of the ladies, then you have to see whether they are interested, then you have to see if the other lady is interested (and preferably they already "know," or genuinely want to "know" each other), then you have to figure out a time that works for everyone and, last but by no means least, and lets be honest, a rate that doesn't send the guy to debtor's prison as a lot of these seem to be priced at a rate that is a premium to seeing both ladies. One way to do this is to keep an eye on the ads till I see someone I know that is offering these (of course, when I'd scheduled to be in Ottawa), and then try to work it out I guess. I will keep my eyes open!

I recall seeing Maude when I was last in Ottawa about two months ago. She was there earlier in the evening, about 7pm or so.

Not positive, but if is wafting around a lot it may have been tear gas, or at least a mixture. Not that it makes it any better. I remember hearing when some idiot brought a handgun in his pants pocket to Barbs. Didn't take long for the dancer to notice. I'm surprised no one has responded to this yet as it's an interesting topic (and certainly more "cerb-like" than the endless movie, song and random topics that are sucking up so much energy on cerb these days). For me, it's hard to pick out a best experience as there have been quite a few really, really good ones, including with some of our ladies here on cerb. However, the most memorable was probably the night I got engaged ... That sex was real, genuine, and very intense, and that was driven by sincere romantic desires and feelings.
