  1. As to the original poster's point, I think you are feeling too guilty about an honest mistake and you took the trouble to apologize. The ultimately test is probably whetehre the lady will see you again and, based on what I have read above, I suspect she definitely would. Dont be so hard on yourself. I think this is a really easy issue to avoid by ALWAYS having the contribution in an unsealed envelope with the ladies name on it on the coffee table or other area where you sit to talk before she arrives. It is different when you have seen a lady many times because there's trust. Heck, I suspect some of the ladies here are close enough to their customers to have a line of credit, so to speak.
  2. Agreed. Simple and to the point. Sometimes its tough because you want to be friendly about things but its best just to talk it out with the guy.
  3. I like the Creed Millesime reference ... great stuff. I think it was originally created for Faisal of Saudi Arabia. I like Creed Green Irish Tweed (summer) and Creed Himalaya (winter). Other favorites are Hermes Terre d'Hermes, Guerlain Vetiver (In my opinion the definitive guys cologne). In the evening, I'll occasionally wear Hanae Mori at Barb's ... the ladies seem to like the Vanilla.
  4. I cant really speak to a comparison between 1 and 2 as my only experience with an iPod 1 is at the Apple Store. Still getting used to the typing on a flat plane of glass, but the sound feedback helps. I had received a gift card for an iPhone for Christmas which I really dont need because of my work-issued blackberry. Also have my work-issued laptop so cant justify a personal macbook. That leaves the iPad, and I'm absolutely delighted. Thanks for the suggestions as to apps. If others have favorites, feel free to add those as well.
  5. The problem with some of the more interesting conversations, especially political conversation, is that people tend to have very strong feelings and those need to be expressed carefully here to avoid offending others. Overall, the general civility of Cerb is wonderful as is the balance of topics.
  6. Dorinda -- that could be pretty tricky with long fingernails. I suggest you go to an Apple store or Best Buy and try one out. CK, agree completely about media in the future ... there is a revenue model in news if there's a value proposition like The Daily. Hopefully others will show less pride and follow that model. And as to games, I'm still learning and enjoying Angry Birds!
  7. I think there is going to be an app soon, if not already, to support flash (I think I read that on macrumors or somewhere). When I first heard about ipads last year, it just sounded like a big iPod touch, but I "get it" now and see that it really fills a void and may ultimately replace some notebooks. I have a PC laptop and blackberry from work, but the other members of my family all use MacBooks and iPhones. My favorite app so far is The Daily, a newsmagazine designed around the ipad's functionality and graphics ability. There's a two week trial followed by a $39 annual fee. Gorgeous photography and well written articles that is pushed on a daily basis. It was also a lot of fun to sit in line on Friday with a bunch of Apple fans. I got there about 3 hours in advance and there were about 65 people in line at the Apple Store. By the time they went on sale at 5pm, there were over 400 people in line.
  8. Trying not to turn this into a brag thread, but I scored a new iPad 2 at the rollout in the United States on Friday at 5pm. I love it! Gorgeous graphics and very easy to use. Anyone else get one? Or does anyone else have an iPad 1 and like it? BTW, this is written on my new iPad 2 -- tough to prove it, though!
  9. Lou -- sorry to hear about this. Can you set your e-mail to ignore e-ms from these anonymous addresses? If you can, great. If not, they will hopefully give up if you ignore them.
  10. I'm sure most of these will come as a surprise to no one, given my cerb name: Movies: Lolita Dr. Strangelove 2001: A Space Oddessy Patton TV: Star Trek Hill Street Blues Cosby Show
  11. There's very little possibility I would ever visit one as these encounters are all about a one-to-one experience with another human being. I just dont like the implication of some type of "shop" for such an intimate activity. Not my cup of tea.
  12. damnage -- One other point to keep in mind is that if you are not known to OPG they are going to be particularly careful as indicated in the above posts.
  13. This is something of a "nightmare" scenario to me if it was every first discovered by a spouse or significant other. Can probably explain away the tanning stuff as a food stain, but the glitter?? (smile)
  14. By the way Pete, I had the exact same enjoyable "problem" that you did ... The is a very sexy, sensuous lady!
  15. Coming late to this thread but the obvious answer is both!
  16. SA is right on the money here. 613 and Ottawa playgirls is the same outfit and Tracey has been around quite a while and is an honest person and doesn't want to promise a client something and not deliver. If she said the lady provides "standard escort services" she may mean to imply no kissing or something like that.
  17. Natural and clean down under is gooood. As to "up over," Spring Flower by Creed is wonderful!
  18. My first reaction was simply to reply "about $100/hour" (smile), but I realized that may go over not so good here. In fairness, the ladies here that use that term sincerely do mean to imply a higher level of perceived classiness and style in terms of the services they offer. That's probably as close as you can get to a working definition.
  19. Congrats WIT on a job well done; enjoy your posts tremendously!
  20. Maybe you should proceed more slowly and start with a strip club or something like that??
  21. I have the pleasure of posting my first ever dancer review of Bridgette Dances, a dancer at Barbs. I had the good fortune to get to know Bridgette online via cerb before actually meeting her at Barbs. She has a wonderful personality, she is very bright and she is a very, very good conversationalist. For Bridgette, her dancer work is very much a a part time job while she finishes up her University degree and moves on to graduate school. Physically, she is a younger lady and she is taller and thinner, and "spinner" would be an appropriate term. Bright eyes and a very nice smile. Without getting too explicit, her dances are slow, very close and very sensual. Nothing against the club rules, but she does a great job! I will definitely be seeing her again the next tiem I'm in town. A couple specifics: Bridgette only dances once or twice a week and you can find out when in her cerb profile which she keeps up to date. Also, she asked that I say that she does not provide private dancing or any other services. Thanks Bridgette ... look forward to seeing you again soon!
  22. Only thing missing is "chubby hubby." Belongs near the bottom of your list, I think. :icon_wink:
  23. Its best for both to smile and keep on walking ... you dont know what else might be going on.
