Time to fight fire with fire. Call the Winnipeg Sun. Explain that they are a legal business, licensed to operate by the city and that have not been found to be in any violation of any laws municiple or other (or atleast I assume they haven't, given they are still operating). Explain that they are being unfairly targetted by the police and continually harassed while crime in their neighborhood runs rampant. I'm sure if they put it in a way that given recent statistics indicate crime in the downtown has gone up dramatically and the cops should be doing more imporatant things, they would garner alot of support from most citizens.

You may not be far off. Maybe after the initial interest settled down business dropped. They may have been a victim of the Deal Find curse as well. I recently read an article in one of my business magazines that basically said as attractive as these Deal Find or Groupon deals may seem for businesses looking to increase their business they are not. The article was written after 5 years of studying the impact of such sites on over 300 businesses in the US and Canada. While the "deal" did increase traffic to the business, the idea of this building long term business/consumer relationships was negligible. Most consumers using these deals are referred to as "Butterfly consumers" who flitter from business to business looking for the best deal and have little or no loyalty to the business. The number of good client retained once the deal was over did not come close to allowing the business to recoup the lost revenue created by the vast discounts in their products or services offered during the promotion. It was especially disastrous for many small businesses with only a few employees who could not handle the increased business efficiently and continue to provide great service to their existing client base. In those cases the study found not only did the "deal" fail to significantly increase the business' long term client base and revenues but actually caused a decline. Perhaps that is what this place has found given they sold a boat load of Deal Find's and only have 2 ladies doing massages.

"I'm not 100% certain but I'm certain someone told me once, you can either set your phone or buy a service from the phone company where blocked/unknown numbers won't even ring on your phone. They quickley go to a message that says this phone will not allow blocked or unknown numbers. Sure for us pooners it can be a pain sometimes. I used to work in a building that has steel reinforced concrete walls. There was no way I could get a cellphone signal in or out of there. Thus my only option was a land line that I couldn't use to call an SP so I was often SOL." Cheers

Its funny you mention this because all of the sudden in the past week I've had 2 people, not SP's, tell me my number comes up "blocked/unknown". I've been using the same phone and # for 5 years now so why all of the sudden. Perhaps it has something to do with their service providers?

I personally don't think you ladies should be answering blocked calls at all. If a guy doesn't trust you enough to at least let you see what number they are calling from, then why the heck would you trust him enough to let him know where you live/do incalls or allow him entry to your incall location. This is basically an issue that goes both ways. All you should say is sorry but I don't speak with people calling from blocked #'s. The guys who are legit will get back to you and the losers playing games won't be able to. Hi, So I think we can assume you are new to this and thinking about seeing an SP for the first time. I remember my first time and the nervousness and uncertainty about many of the issues involved.
