Essentially this is correct. We have a self-reporting tax system, and outside of getting tax slips CRA will accept what you report as self employed income. Now as someone on the previous page brought up it does need to be reasonable under the circumstances. If someone has been working as an SP for 20 years, they have a $400k home and are driving a new BMW it may make CRA ask where the money is coming from if you're only reporting $20k sales per year or not filing at all for that matter. How will they ever know what you drive or where you live? They likely never will unless someone tips them off (divorcing spouses and angry ex-business partners are notorious for dropping hints to CRA, but anyone with a chip on their shoulder would do). Shy of an extreme example like the above, it would be very difficult for CRA to prove anything beyond what you are depositing to your bank account. That is solid proof of cashflow. What you don't deposit is going to be near impossible to measure. But it would be awfully difficult to ever buy a house or build that self-directed retirement plan without creating the audit trail with deposits. And don't forget GST/HST either. Over $30k in sales and technically you need to register for GST and collect it from clients or it would come out of your pocket. As for registering a business, a lot of jurisdictions legally require anyone operating a business to register the business name unless it is just your real name. So you're ok if your business is just 'Jane Smith' but 'Jane Smith, Service Provider' would require registration. Basically that's a compliance thing to get you started down the road of reporting income. I can't say I've ever prepared a return for an SP. Neither have I heard of a CRA crackdown on this industry. As someone else mentioned it is largely 'off the grid' so to speak. And from CRA's perspective it would be exceedingly difficult and costly to find and audit because I suspect a lot of the cash won't ever see a bank statement. (They are considerably more interested in challenging claimed expenses on the returns people willingly file). In other words, I wouldn't lose much sleep over it.

You might want to be careful, lest you insult one of those CERB ladies you covet so highly. Some very well recommended ladies from CERB advertise or have advertised there in the past. More than half the current ads there are by ladies that have positive reviews or at least positive mention here. I have no experience with Candy, but she was at least discussed previously: http://www.cerb.ca/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=50806&highlight=candy I have not had a bad experience on that site, other than that the ladies tend to be outservice only and often have yet to accumulate positive reviews on CERB. Anyone without positive reviews here, whether a member here or not, is an unknown. They may well be a hidden gem, but proceed at your own risk.

Any comments on which of these ladies is worth taking a chance on? They all seem very cute. I don't know much about the Moncton scene...

As a general rule, if bbbj is even on the menu as an option then I will usually pass on visiting that SP. Everyone has their own risk tolerance and I respect that, but I just feel more comfortable with women who advertise safe-only appointments.

Just FYI, I'm pretty sure I've met that girl before. I recognized the other pic which I'm sure was a real one. I've seen her go by Carly, Nikki, Nicole, Bonnie. Rule violations aside, she is a real SP.

I had tried to contact her for information but she has not logged in since the 24th of July (around the same time her website went offline). She posted a message about being out of contact for personal reasons. I'm guessing she is either dealing with some heavy things right now, moved on to another town, or retired. Which Victoria? There has been one on CL for a while I wanted to try. Her ads have been around for a few months, about 20yrs old and 140lbs, south end. Recently another Victoria has been posting ads, sometimes on the same day. Same age but much slimmer and different pic. I'm a little weary of the young thin brunette ads on CL due to a certain former CERB member who had gone through a few names on CL.

As I recall, her CL ads used to be labled as willow, then for a time "Porscha - previously known as willow", now just Porscha. Rather than trying to hide, it seems like she made a deliberate attempt to provide continuity for her clients while making the change. I'd say Mikeyboy is right about the reasons for the change. I've thought about contacting her too, that brief inservice ad had me excited.

The only thing I do is make sure I have a shower just before going. I'd do at least as much before going on a date, and the average SP treats me better than an average date.

I had assumed that Destiny was not apart of that group because her number is different. I had booked an appointment with her tonight which resulted in a painful missed connection. She gave me her address and I had a funny feeling for some reason. I figure out why when I get there - it is the same apartment a friend lives in. I called and explained the situation, and she really tried to be accommodating, but it turns out she's on the same floor as my friend too. That was just too much, so I had to apologize and cancel at that point. :-(:oops: Anyway, all I can tell you is that she seemed very nice on the phone. She was very polite and professional with me even though I gave her every reason to be pissed off for wasting her time.

Exactly what I was going to say. I think some ladies perhaps find their way into the industry because they found themselves in minimum wage jobs. But if they quit their Tim's job later then where they heck are they getting all the cash for rent, car payments, feeding the baby, etc? I doubt many SP's tell all their friends and family about this side of their lives.

I think the new girl is Tori. Just met with her. Very sweet & slim, amazingly hot. She said she was 21, but myself I would have guessed a year or two younger. She was very quiet and shy, which suits me fine since I'm not the most talkative person either. Very gentle hands. I think she's very new to the industry, but I'd see her again. I had a similar experience to what was discussed above, but I didn't ask for full service, so I can't advise on whether she goes that far.

I just tried to book here and they said they are located on Joseph Howe Dr. 'Jenna' from above is no longer there.:-( Can anyone confirm that this place is still legit? Comments on the new location?
