    Chuck Norris doesn't make New Year's resolutions, the New Year resolves to make Chuck Norris' year!! Lol, seriously though, I prefer to just resolve to do something as soon as I think of it, not to wait for a certain day of the year, goal setting is always important, not just on Monday or the first day of the year! Currently my goals are to run a 10K in spring '12, make healthier choices (damn you AYCE sushi!) and other financial based goals. I will be looking to this thread for more ideas on goals I can add- constant growth and education is definitely key to a happy experience in our short time here! Bethany Xoxox

    Just curious who might be up for a night of playing pool with some sexy hobbiests and providers, very casual and low key environment... An idea I am playing with for a more casual February-ish social, I had a great time at the most recent Xmas social, but still remember fondly the summer social last year playing pool- great times! I am thinking perhaps in the late afternoon and/or early evening with a likely smaller than normal group, maybe 30 ppl tops... Maybe even structured as a charity tournament... Still in the brainstorming mode... Lots to figure out still- if this happens, but it could be really fun, and charitable! Thoughts, comments, ideas? Bethany Xoxox P.s.     Having been in this business for almost 4 years, I am amazed by how excited and a little nervous I still get when meeting a new client. I liken it to the way I feel going on a first-date, I have had many "first dates" as an MA, but I just can't shake the blend of butterflies and curious anticipation I get just before meeting with them-not that I want to- makes an already exciting job that much more so! When first meeting someone and feeling said butterflies, I might talk too quickly, feel a little shy and sometimes forget for a moment that they might be just as nervous and need me to break the ice, guiding the session towards a comfortable and sensual connection... Luckily once we've disrobed I get pretty distracted from my butterflies and am able to focus on the sexy new friend I've made! I have done a few outcalls while overseas, mostly to hotels, but I can only imagine it's night and day compared to what it must be like for you hobbiests during an in-call. Going to a new studio, home or hotel in addition to meeting a sexy lady for the first time must be quite an exciting and nerve-wracking experience! I am curious about how other ladies and hobbiests alike feel before these "first dates". How do you feel before meeting someone for the first time? Would love to hear some stories about memorable first date jitters and what made you forget them(or not, lol)!     Thanks to Angela of Ottawa and Old Dog for putting together such an amazing event! Was really great to meet so many new friends and to reacquaint myself with some of the usual suspects! I had a thought last night about how lucky you men are, being able to meet so many gorgeous women, and how if I were a man I would be hard-pressed not to see every woman on CERB! But right after saying it, and looking around/thinking about massage, I realized I kinda already have that! I get to meet so many sweet, sexy and sensual men that it is like being a hobbiest but better- no dealing with parking and traffic- because you gents come to me, lol...     I find that while gifts are really appreciated, that I have to agree with Pete, cash is always great! It is the easiest for you to carry, for her to enjoy and you never have to worry about the right size or if she'll regift it or not... If you know what she likes, or have asked her for a wish list then by all means get her something special- it will definitely be appreciated, but try not to go the generic flower/chocolate/etc. route unless she has specifically said this is her preference. I for one, don't like sweets much and my kitty eats flowers then gets sick, so I have to give flowers away immediately and normally just offer sweets and chocolates to my family and friends when they visit...     My location is "east-er" than most, not too far from St.Laurent and closer to where Montreal Rd starts downtown... Great question, I am guessing whenever I see a thread like this that for every post-er there are a hundred or two other gents who agree that an MP/MA in this location would be ideal... Jude Masso used to be(still is?) in the Beechwood area, slightly east, but not as far as you mentioned, again...

    I agree that some recos are a bit over the top in terms of how graphically detailed they get, but to say that writing a recommendation for a lady on a "RECOMMENDATION" board--that could potentially help her business grow, increasing her presence as potential advertising on said recommendation board, as well as sharing the beautiful experience you shared with her in a way that might set an example to the others on how to write recos--would cheapen the experience makes no sense to me. I don't mean to single you out, but I hear stuff like this often and it jars my mind to hear statements that are directly contradicted by the name of the site on which they are being posted... I have said it before and I will say it again, recos are the best compliment/tip a provider can get... That said, Cristy, I think your idea was a good one, but as the hobbyists are legally not allowed to be reviewed, let alone not very open to the idea of being reco'd, it simply won't fly... Comparing it to our reviews, it would be similar, we wouldn't be comparing string beans and bananas, just commenting on the nicer produce sampled. I am sure the gents wouldn't feel too bad about not being mentioned just as we ladies wouldn't be heartbroken to read that our clients think Ms. X has the "best rack", or the "most beautiful eyes", etc in their reviews...     I had a special request from a gent or two for these shorter appointments, in both cases from regulars and the rate was half of my regular hourly rate so I felt well-compensated, unfortunately both gents were always so rushed for time I never really enjoyed those sessions and in the end put an, um, end to them, lol. I think this type of session is great for those who are comfortable with them, and maybe with the right client they would be fun for me too, but the experiences I have had might have ruined it for others... If you are a regular client and you have a good rapport with your provider and would prefer a shorter session, politely asking for this special type of session shouldn't hurt, I might even consider it again if it were the right client. I doubt I would ever advertise this though, as for a first session this would not be ideal IMHO... Bethany Xoxox

    In a recent post I mentioned using the canned reply feature to get back to the PMs I get from the less than thoughtful newbies on this site http://www.cerb.ca/vbulletin/showthread.php?p=292978#post292978 Someone mentioned that this would be a great thing if only they knew how to use the canned replies. I would like to share the knowledge on how to use this very awesome yet simple little feature... _________________________________ How to Can a Message! Go to the User CP(Control Panel) Link in upper row at top of most (all?)pages In the left hand column you will see Your Control Panel, in that list in the "Settings & Options" section you will see "Edit your Canned Replies" Choose that, then "Add a New Canned Reply Here" title your canned reply" write a canned reply in the body and then save! That's it folks! When you reply to or create a message choose from the canned reply scrolldown menu (of canned replies you have created previously/separately) then add in the personalization or any other details that you may need to address to fit the situation. __________________________________ Hope this helps! Providers- now might be time to add a similar "canned reply" to your list, here is my latest one inspired today by a less than intriguing PM I received that simply said: "Daimmmm, you look delicious; do you offer anything extra beside massage? Thnx Namexxxx" _____________________ Canned Reply Title: Ummmm, hi. Ummm, hi. You may want to reconsider your approach to the ladies on this board... Perhaps consider doing a little research before sending your next message to a lady, your PM was not very respectful--remember, as in most facets of life, a little class is important!     I remember wondering one day if I could even self rate my thread so I tried it out and it worked. I was not very impressed by this flaw in the system and think that to rate your own thread is pnly slightly less offensive than to write a shill ad for yourself. I think having the raters names listed is a great idea, makes it more ridiculous-looking for the ladies who self-rate, and also for the ones who have legitimate fans of their threads it will look better on them. Knowing the ratings are not anonymous can only make people take them more seriously now, perhaps only upon further inspection- though...
