I was under similar belief that an employer, volunteer organizations and even landlords can request if you have a criminal record. However, the details of the record still remains private.

My preference is for longer appointments usually 1-2 hours. I avoid 1/2 dates. An overnighter would be a ultimate experience which would provide opportunity for significant intimacy. As an alternative, I like to repeat with particular ladies often.

About a year ago --The Delta had a similar policy in effect. They refused to offer rooms to anyone with an Ottawa address even if you had a valid credit card. Most of the hotels no longer accept the pre-charged credit cards available from MoneyMart etc. However, I did hear that Victoria Park Suites still accept good old fashioned cash.

As been said by many -- Safety is a paramount consideration. Asking for references is not unreasonable. Additionally, it's good practice to have someone watch your back by making a call before and after the date. For the occasions where a potential client cannot provide references, use your discretion and trust your instinct.

With me its time. Because of other responsibilities lately, opportunities to schedule a date are few and far between.
