I think I know what you mean. 'Owning' has a very bad slave connotation or saying that a woman is not independant but a possession. Perhaps you're thinking along the same lines as going to the spa for the day and having the staff there cater to your every whim? It's nice getting a regular massage from a friend, but to pay a pro to do what you want is luxurious. Same goes for a SP...she's there to provide to you and you are the boss. Even if you told her to be the boss, you're still getting what you are asking for. Even with varying limitations, it's still luxurious ;)

For me, I'm recently divorced and not looking for a relationship right now. If the right one came along that's different, but I'm being very discretionary with that. And it doesn't happen often since I'm by no means a player, but I have found that there have been a few instances where I could've elected for the 'free' booty call, and opted for the professional route instead. It's just simpler with minimal potential for mess. And the dating thing is a lot of work that I don't have the time to dedicate to. One thing for sure is that when I do hook up with someone for real, that will spell the end of this for me. I don't fuck around...unless she wants me to ;)

Depends...I think men are more logic driven and the heart is what blurs reality. For some, they will forego that logic to appease the heart. Even if the SP is being disingenuous, those lacking in life experience with love can get sucked in sometimes. Love for me exists outside the bedroom - most of these experiences are lust. And lust is ok if you've got everything in perspective. Actually, lust is really fun ;)

Jacko was a wacko and it was surprising to hear that he died but in hindsight, no doubt he did some fucked up shit to his body over the years. I was never a fan but his contribution to popular music is undeniable. I have to applaud anyone that comes out and announces to the world that they have chosen this line of work. Regardless of how you feel about the industry, to 'come out of the closet' takes a mountain of courage. I couldn't do it and I'm just a client, the consequences are greatly lessened. For the girls, it can be life affecting. I'm hoping for you Annessa that it goes in a positive direction. I'm sure it will ;) As for your 'friends', you never know who anyone is until they're put to the real test. Until then, you just have a few friends and many acquaintances. Unfortunately, I don't hold out a lot of hope for the industry as ever truly being accepted. I know many things have changed over the years and we like to think that we're moving to a new world order, but there will always be staunch opposition to this...at least in my lifetime. It's so tied into moral/religious stigma and that makes change so hard.

Me being a smoker, of course it doesn't bother me but I try to not reek myself if I know that she is a non-smoker. I'd say 95% of the girls I've been with have been smokers. However, a few times this winter I tried to quit and when I arranged for certain SP's to come over, I was anticipating bumming a cig almost as much as the rest of the date. One time I remember thinking distinctly that this is the best smoke I've ever had! And since I was so used to all the girls being smokers, I just expected that they all did. So one night I arranged to see I girl that I had really wanted to see for awhile and desperately needed a smoke on top of that. She was there about 10 mins when the jonseing got to be too much and I broke down to ask if she had any. And she didn't...argh! Fortnately she was like the coolest chick ever and I simply forgot about it while she was there instead of climbing the walls in agony. I think I woke up to sound of her voice this morning too...imagine that ;)

Live chat is not my thing, so I've only been in once or twice. I've been flagging that stuff, the guy is a moron. Might even be the same person who is posting the racist garbage about all the asian providers as well.
