While I personally believe that escorting should be a legitimate business activity, I have read some valid counter arguments based on studies undertaken in countries where the industry is either regulated or at least decriminalized. The problems do not go away and in some cases are exacerbated. Now this could be a result of poor implementation or lacklustre monitoring, but it does raise an interesting question: if it were to be a legal activity, what really is the best way to go about it? That is, without a doubt, brutal. The one that bugs me the most, as it is slowly creeping in to the common lexicon and may just change the dictionary by sheer volume of erroneous use - YOUR. Like, "your the best" or, "let me show you what your missing". How's about, "your dumb"! My dumb what? For sure, no doubt about that - I'm a basket case myself. But unfortunately, there are many girls drawn into this profession for either the wrong reasons, or out of desperation. Sounded like he just wanted to make sure that there was good intentions all around - old fashioned parental concern. Some people get involved with their children's business more than others (helicopter parents). My biggest concern would be whether or not they could handle it. Even the most open minded people can get bent out of shape in the heat of the moment. But if it's true love, you can't ask for anything more than that and I would support it 100%.

It's them new fangled cell phones and that there textin' that doing it...I'd wager that these young folk wouldn't know whut to do with a pen and paper if you showed it to 'em... Doesn't have much to do with intelligence, just sloppy attention to detail. And like looking at a resume that contains poor grammar/spelling, you're just going to toss it aside without giving it another look. I'll just throw my ignorant layman's view out there and say that even if negotiation can be accepted in certain professions, my personal take is that it doesn't work for this one. It is meant to be an intimate experience, hopefully involving the mind as well as the body. The bottom line is in no doubt the physical aspect, but creating a mental connection exponentially enhances the date. To risk insult and try to barter will almost guarantee that you've ruined the whole thing for both parties. Those that don't care how the sp feels more often or not are borderline antisocial personalities. For me, I want the money thing to be as discreet and removed from the session as much as possible...want to maximize the illusion as well. Granted, there are those that do have the negotiating capability to read the situation, sense when/if there is an opening, and act on it with tact and class. Dummpy seems like the kind of guy to have that, but there's probably too many that try and don't.
