Not to diminish the accomplishment, but it seems more like a technical thing where one person was likely refreshing the page every few seconds. I recall doing a sort by views in the announcements section a few months back, and many of Red's had like 10,000+ views. It was odd for the fact that there were no replies to the threads. Even the announcements that have long discussions going on don't break much more than 2 or 3 thousand views.

99% of the time, any populist media created with the intent on showing a specific slice of life gets it wrong. What makes it worse is when you have first hand knowledge and experience regarding the subject matter. Most TV and film is geared for a simple audience who are not concerned about the details being correct or stereotypical. My ex was big into equestrian. Every time some show or movie depicted scenes or stories revolving around horses, she had so many critiques about what they got wrong - how the rider wasn't sitting right or holding her hands properly while riding English, that the saddle wasn't the right type for the horse, etc. The actors could've been riding zebras for all I cared since I knew very little about that world, and those intricate nuances had no bearing on the crappy story going on anyways. But man, it drove her crazy seeing all that shit and would not shut the fuck up about it and...oh, I digress ;) For dramatic reasons, you won't see a lot of "everyday normal hooker" depictions. Sex sells and violence sells, but reality or well written character pieces do not. (Please, no comments about "reality" tv - it's not fucking real either) But the extremes make for better (and simpler) drama, and you will continue to see that with regularity until the end of time. Belladonna, I think your first mistake was watching Criminal Minds! Not escort related, but if you want to watch something that honestly depicts the reality of police work, check out The Wire instead. Best TV show ever, period.

Hate to sound arrogant, but my time and personality is worth something too. It is no different for me than doing business with anyone. The guy that fixes my car, the girl that cuts my hair, the RMT that gets the other kinks out - if there's a good, friendly connection there and a mutual desire to hang out and chat outside of a professional environment, it would be ridiculous for me to compensate them for their time. And I view this as the same situation. I have no desire to make friends with someone who does not want to reciprocate. And honestly, when those occasions do arise, the last thing I am thinking about - or hoping for - is a 'pleasant surprise'. No currency on the table...not money and not sex. Two people wanting to spend time with one another with no expectations other than casually enjoying themselves. But like I said before, this is my own personal way of thinking - what anyone else does is their business and that's cool too. And I rarely initiate going down that path, only if it seems obvious that it was wanted in the first place.

I've had a few sessions where there was technically no sex, but that was a result of my not being able to, ummm...perform. And some others where the sex got in the way of conversation, so it ended up being rushed and I wished there was more time. But for me personally - and this is my thought process only - I would not ever cough up money for strictly social time. If I meet someone where we get along real well, enjoy each other's company, and mutually wish to hang out socially, for me to pay for that would be unsavoury. I don't mind paying for sex, but paying for 'friends' is a different matter for my psyche.

I would imagine that this is the reason, as clients have their time and budgets stretched for xmas. The want is still there so instead of not dropping $220 for an hour with a regular, if there's a $100 half hour special happening, that could entice a client to make an appearance. So that's xmas economics - is there a drop in January with realization of CC bills and New Year's resolutions not to cheat on the wife or spend as much on escorts?? ;)

It is so true that people jump to those conclusions. Maybe it has something to do with society's fixation on weight, and the fact that it is very uncommon for someone of your age to still have that slight figure. But I have noticed that many people generally make those assumptions because quite often, the person in question does have some type of illness, so they learn to assume that it is likely the case for everyone to be like that. No doubt it is annoying, but you can take solace in the fact that it isn't true and that you don't have the reverse problem. Makes me angry when anyone makes the assumption that a big girl is probably the way she is because all she does is eat ice cream and buckets of fried chicken. Most often, you are what you are because that's your metabolism and you can't change it. I will admit to having these thoughts myself sometimes, but I don't jump to conclusions or ask invasive questions. To be honest, I recall seeing your pics here and then seeing your age and was exasperated because the 2 things did not seem to go together!
