  1. I'm a big fan of the Wes Anderson soundtracks, especially Rushmore and the Royal Tenenbaums.
  2. I'm sorry that you had to go through this mistreatment yet again. Your words will make some people think a bit more, and hopefully make a difference. There are good people here and you are definitely one of them.
  3. I believe the question that they ask, or at least I was asked, is do you know the sexual history of the people you have had sex with for the last 6 months. Officially I think it is an HIV risk question, were if you have participated in any HIV risk activity you are temporary deferred. So one night stands, affairs, etc. fall in the same category. Paying for sex isn't the issue. Sex with strangers (however unstrange and lovely they may be) is the issue, and the reason that everyone should be careful, safe, and well read on the subject.
  4. Congratulations Amelia, well done and happy arts mastering
  5. Getting an erection while sleeping is what healthy men do, normally during the REM cycle. If you wake up during this period you've got "morning wood". It's natural, and you can't be faulted for it. I believe they do sleep monitoring to determine if erectile disfunction is psychological or physical. So I would have to say she's wrong to get ticked at him.
  6. there should be no harm in letting an SP know before hand that you are nervous and very reserved, because that is what you are. If the SP really doesn't like that situation, it is better to find out before hand and find one more suited to what you want. Communicating with the SP before hand you can also express your expectations before and again find out reactions. As long as you are respectful, clean and abide by the SP's etiquette, all should be fine.
  7. I don't know what was written, nor do I want to know. I think a lot of people don't understand the power of words and what they mean. Demeaning and hateful words are often thrown around in media and popular culture, which desensitizes people to them. A phrase from a comedy routine may be hilarious in one context, but using it in another is very hurtful. Thinking a little before a statement can often save a world of hurt later on. I just hope the ladies and gents on here will continue to treat each other with the respect that we all deserve.
  8. I think this may be the biggest reason why an SP may not reply to a request for a reference. Not only is it very impolite to use anyone for a reference with out asking them first, but the SP you saw once a while ago might not remember details about you unless you provide some gentle reminders. In my opinion, if you want to see a SP who requires references, then it is your job to find them, not hers.
  9. You should always do what you feel safe and comfortable doing. Don't let the "guys" tell you any different. Even if you normally provide a service that is considered safe, but don't fell safe providing it to that individual, they should understand with a gentle explanation. Just stick to your guns and do things your way. Just be up front about what you do and don't do and no one can complain. I always viewed GFE as just a more intimate experience, with no necessary expectation of services offered. Just because one lady offers a service doesn't mean all others do.
  10. GNC stores usually have stuff like this and they are around pretty much everywhere. The important thing to do is check out labels for all the ingredients.
  11. I agree with you Erin. One of the reasons I've always liked Cerb is it gives everyone (ladies and gents) the right to vent about things like this. The only problem is that the Cerb members that read a thread like this are generally not the people who behave this way. I think it's a rare occurance that some "asshat" (I'm quoting asshat because I like it and wanted to give you credit for using it.) reads a thread like this and thinks to themselves, " Wow, I've been an asshat all my life, but now I know better." Then poof they learn some manners. There is always another asshat because the asshats don't care and probbaly never will. Most people understand manners and respect and they use it when it suits them, but they don't apply them to everyone. In my opinion manners and respect are for everyone untill they have shown that they don't deserve them. I never understood why acting like a dick makes some people feel powerful or good about themselves. Well there's my Monday morning rant.
  12. many moons ago my grade 9 health class had a first aid component where we were tested at the end by first aid examining staff. The things about first aid is there is always updates so you have to keep up to date. An important skill now is to familiarize yourself with defibrillator machines, they are available all over the place now.
  13. I always looked for personality myself, age and looks etc. are a distant second.
  14. A Newfoundland friend of mine calls all women "my love" and all guys "my son", it doesn't matter who they are.
  15. Stole the title, but here is an amusing article http://www.cnn.com/2009/HEALTH/11/04/transient.global.amnesia/index.html and you only thought it happened to guys
  16. This section is the sub-forum for just these type of posts. If there is a post asking about a SP and you've seen them respond. If you recommend the SP, then post it. If you wouldn't recommend the Sp, post that you've seen the SP, and ask others to PM you for details. Cerb is a wonderful resource if the community contributes and uses the helpful information.
  17. If I said anything to take away from Erin'r justified rant I apologize. Somethings bother some people more than others. Even though I may tolerate ignorance (in the academic sense), it is never "okay" to be ignorant and/or disrespectful.
  18. I've done my fair share of university courses and I've seen my fair share of people who like to hear themselves talk. Some people have a comment about everything, no matter how idiotic or irrelevant I found the comment it never bothered me that they made it. To me university is an education experience, a place for people to open their minds and explore what is inside. These people paid the same tuition as me (in some cases a little less, who charges a lab fee anyway), and as such they have every right to spout on about what ever they feel is important to them. If they are continuously ignorant or just plain wrong most profs or other students in the class will put them in their place. If they are trying to contribute and/or enrich themselves, I say good for them. If they are ignorant dumb asses, who expect every thing done for them, then they will fail the course by the midterm exams/paper and drop out, leaving more parking spaces for the rest of us.
  19. Note to self .... become a sexy prof in what Amelia is studying ;-). Cosmetic surgery and more degrees can't be to much right?
  20. Good call, he put the time and effort into getting his doctorate, becoming a prof, establishing his academic carrier, and dating a student, would destroy all that. A horrible sacrifice, even for a beautiful student :-). Remove student from the equation and you are two consenting adults having a wonderful time (even if one has tenure). Then enjoy yourself, and rock his English lit loving brains out.
  21. As Cat noted, some people will try to make a deal in all cases, others won't. As a note, you'd be surprised what deals can be made even at your local stores. My brother is good at this, I am not, but I don't think he has paid full price for any big ticket items. He would just ask the salesman to take less, and if they went for it good, if not he went somewhere else. What is not acceptable is negotiating when you are asked nicely not to, or reneging on an agreed price. In my opinion, that practice is simply disrespect, and should not be tolerated. The world would be a better place if people respected each other a little more (ending this before it becomes an Antlermanesc rant). Also, the time that a SP puts into an appointment is not just the time of the appointment. There is the prep time that we can only fathom the extent of, especially if it is an incall appointment. All that being said, if you want a safe, wonderful experience with a lady of your choice, you have to be willing to pay the price.
  22. casey, In my opinion stay far away from CL and stay close to cerb. If you read some reviews and/or postings here and send some respectful private messages you will meet some truely wonderful ladies.
  23. arrested development was an amazing show, and like most intelligent comedies the US viewers didn't watch it. beware of loose seals!
  24. Before asking if anyone has seen some one please check the recommendations section. She has a recommendation as seen here, http://cerb.ca/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=11899 her cerb name is sweetplaymate.
