Someone showing me documents that say they've tested negative for STI/STDs is pretty much meaningless to me. They could have become infected shortly after being tested. The only practical reason to be tested regularly is so that if you are unfortunate enough to receive positive results, you can begin receiving the proper treatment right away and take all precautions possible to prevent spreading whatever you have to other people.

I think "then she finds out" is the key. If he's going to be going on paid dates, he better discuss it with her before he does so and if she doesn't like the idea, then he has a choice to make. If there's emotional fidelity, he'll make the right one. Relationships don't have to by symmetrical - they usually aren't. Just honest and complementary. I.E. & E.G. She does dates for money. That's a very cool and well-told story, Arlene. I've had a lot of sex with a lot of women, but only those who have been honest and smart have really touched me. I've been doing this for more than 25 years (started young - lol). Mostly because I'm a very sexually promiscuous kind of guy. And if you want to have NSA sex with a bunch of women - 5 to 6 a week in the 80's some weeks - this was the easiest way to handle the "overflow" as it were. Lol. Psychologically, you could ask questions about commitment and long-term intimacy. But I've done those as well, though probably, in retrospective, never long enough in most, if not all, cases. And always along with a lot of other things. Lol
