i'm liking Fragile Bird at the moment...great band.

I would agree with everything you wrote. I have the first version of ICS (4.0.1) and not the lastest versions. However, it not Google's fault and more the carriers for not releasing the last versions and not too sure why they don't...so not happy with that. But i do disagree with your statement on Apple. I had a 3G and when the 4 came out with the latest software (IOS 4, i think) it would hardly run on my phone, actually i never upgraded past 3.1.3 i think, as anything above it would slow it down. And it got to the point where most of my apps wouldn't run anymore on the phone...so Apple pretty much forced me to buy a new phone to keep current (figuratively and literally)...hence not going back to Apple. Apple wants you to remain their customers by buying the latest iphones, to keep current. anyways, that's my take and experience.

I've had an iphone and like it for what it was, it is easy to use for people who are not very tech savy. I now have an Android phone with ICS on it and i haven't looked back, it rarely crashes on me and the UI is easy to use. I do like the customization features and like the ability to change the home screen and alter it the way i want and Android utilizes Widgets. I'm not a big app guy and could careless how many Apple has, really if you think about it how many apps do you really use?...for me not that many. So the apps on Android are more than suffice for me. On my phone i have a larger screen to view webpages, which is important. Also i can treat my device like a mass storage and just drop files into the phone and be able to play or view them...even from my Mac Air...i can still use itunes if i wish or drop mp3s onto the phone and all will play...can't do that on the iphone. Both have their particular features, Apple's ease of use and Android for customization and personal preferences. At the moment i prefer Android.

I think a lot of posters are forgetting that you felt you were treated just as money and nothing more from this respected SP and i think this is wrong. And i don't think YMMV plays into this, the SP wasn't into the session and more into her friends. You as a client should receive 100% attention because that's what you are there for is to see her and for her to at least "show" or be "interested" in the session. I think most clients just ask for that and that's what i expect myself, that the attention is on you (client) for the 1hr or whatever the length is. And, ya, you really just have to chalk it up and probably just not see that SP again...that's all you can do. Maybe explain to her how you felt and get an apology from her? Best of luck in your next session.

It's good to be prepared but these guys take it to the next level and some for wacked out reasons, to each their own i guess. watch the natgeo series of doomsday preppers and somethings that people prep for are 1-in-a-million chance of something happening, crazy...and some spend their whole life doing this and worried about the future of what could happen. live today and not tomorrow.

well i think a 5min rule is a tad harsh, lots of guys would be late i think...but these are your rules. I try to be on time and mostly am because i make a point of it. In this situation, he texted you at the confirmed time and texted you a few mins before the time saying he was coming, so sounds like he was committed. Who knows what happened to him be late, things happen and ya he was pretty close, under 10mins on a perfect day, ie. no traffic. And like someone said, if he's late he loses on the time with you. i just think 5mins is harsh on the guy especially when he was in constant contact with you...maybe 10 is better?

what's the CDN retail price and the size of the screen?...it looks small to me, like 21" or 24" I think personally i would like a bigger screen and just buy a regular LCD screen instead. And i think you are buying the name too.
