  1. I have the exact same response as Angela: the first things I notice are always teeth, eyes and hands. But, the biggest turn-on for me is intelligence. A man who is smarter than me can get me to do just about anything. I masturbate to my partner's academic papers. For real. Hahaha.
  2. POWER hosts lots of events, including a monthly sex-worker only social. I know how isolating it can be to move to a new city and work in an industry that doesn't exactly have a workplace for the most part--making it hard to meet colleagues and other like-minded folks. Sadly, I can't offer you any advice on how to manage your business while keeping it secret--I'm out to everyone I know and don't keep what I do for a living secret. Feel free to PM me if you want to grab coffe and chat sometime.
  3. I offer rimming, but I use a dental dam, always. It doesn't deter any sensation--I speak from personal experience.
  4. I don't see the point in punishing someone out of vengeance. It's not going to make the loss go away or make you feel better. You might think it will, but it won't. Three years in prison, plus the guilt and remorse for having killed a friend are enough.
  5. Ok, so wine is not usually my favourite, I much prefer sparkling wines! Martini and Rossi Asti Spumanti (I love this one because it makes me think of Thanksgiving with the folks--when I was a kid my parents always used to let my sister and I have a tiny glass at Thanksgiving as a special treat) Prosecco!
  6. I just add everyone. I'm lazy and if you want to be my "friend" so be it! So yeah, if you're checking out my friends list, it is not specific to only clients I've seen or only ladies I've met. If you asked to be added, I added you. I've wondered about perhaps only including ladies I've met and going the same route as you Charlotte, but again, lazy. I mean, come on, I'd have to go through and delete a whole bunch of people! That's too much effort! (sarcasm) (side note: does anyone know of any way to indicate that what you've written is sarcastic in tone without having to write in brackets afterwards, I mean this sarcastically?)
  7. Haha, you totally beat me to posting that shot of the 3-boobed chick from Total Recall (which they're remaking btw, with Colin Farrell--just kill me now :( )
  8. Don't you have any female friends who could play wingwoman?
  9. I really don't think this is such a bad idea. While I'm not a fan of segregating the sex workers into certain areas (this just says that sex workers are not part of the community and exaggerates the notion that we are problems for communities), I think the idea of having safe places to go with clients is much better than driving to some deserted area.
  10. Thanks everyone for your input! I've decided on anthropology. Woot.
  11. With classics, the courses are usually made up of a mid-term, a research paper and a final exam, with some portion of your grade going to participation. I took a few anthro courses as electives during my first degree, so I'm familiar with the anthro format. Plus, since it's a minor, most of the courses will be first year requirements and then choices from a list of anthro courses. I can pick and choose with some flexibility what I think is interesting. Whereas with classics, it's pretty much Greece and Rome all day, all the time. Art, archaeology, culture, religion, etc. It would appear I'm probably going to pick anthro. Hah. Sometimes you just gotta work through this with someone else looking at it.
  12. Truthfully, I'm thinking in terms of grades at this point. What can I take that will be both interesting and will yield good grades? The more interesting to me, the better the grades. That's just how I work. If I end up hating it, I just won't apply myself. I'm leaning towards anthro myself, mainly because having experienced classics for four years, unless you have a really great prof, the subject matter can be pretty dry. But then again, if I find out that my courses from my first BA transfer and I don't have to take anything new, I'll probably go that route.
  13. So I've decided to change my minor from Italian to something else. What that something else is, I haven't quite decided. I've narrowed it down to two choices: Anthropology Classical studies Keep in mind my first BA was in archaeology and classics, so I'm fairly well-versed in classics already, which would make doing a minor in it, pretty easy (also, and I'd have to ask because I'm really not sure, but it's possible that the courses from my first BA might cross-over and so I might not have to take anything new--but again, I have to double-check) Anthropology would also be fairly easy. I just really don't want to learn Italian anymore (I don't have the time needed to really dedicate myself to the language). So, which would you pick and why? HALP.
  14. I hope you have a happy birthday and that you have lots of fun with your "present"!
  15. Old Dog! What would CERB be without your jokes and sense of humour! I can only hope that you surive the impending zombie apocalypse to cheer us all up.
  16. When I was in Belgium, I got addicted to cherry beer. Does anyone know anywhere in Ottawa that serves cherry beer? If you do, I'm FREE THIS WEEKEND. Let's get drunk. Hahaha.
  17. Ok, two new places I feel the need to promote (not that they need any help!) HINTONBURGER!!! So fucking good. I have never inhaled a burger faster. It is totally worth $7. Whalesbone. Ok, so unless you like seafood and are a foodie and you have some cash to spend, this is not for you. BUT, if you feel the urge to splurge and you love seafod, you will love Whalesbone. The raw oysters are fresh and delicious and they make a red wine vinaigrette with shalots to go with them that is to die for! I followed that up with an appetizer of smoked mackerel and then scallops with creme fraiche, corn, and blue cheese. I was totally in heaven. But let me warn you, it's not cheap! For two people, we had a bottle of zinfandel, 9 raw oysters, appetizer of smoked mackerel, I had scallops, he had the sardine, then we had dessert (a sundae bar, yo!) and a grappa. Total + tip: $254. Was it worth it? FUCK YES. Plus, the staff is amazing and totally fun.
  18. I don't get to Starbucks very often for two reasons: 1. The only time I am ever near a Starbucks is when I'm on campus, 2. I'm usually poor. BUT, during the winter, I love to treat myself to the hot apple cider with caramel. YUM.
  19. When I first joined CERB, the first three members I met were ulixestrojan, igotaboner and dummpy! All three were prolific posters during their time here and I miss them all for various reasons.
  20. I don't care either way. Money is money. I wouldn't even care if you paid me entirely in change. Unless I missed something, stores still have to take your change ;)
  21. Me too! I did a Women and Religion course two years ago and last year I did Women in Early Christianity. It was pretty neat learning about all that stuff, even if I don't believe in any of it.
  22. DO IT! I love a man with piercings, wherever they may be :)
