    To flat out ask for a review, e.g. Please write a review about me, is tacky. I've never asked, but I've often wondered why some guys write reviews about other girls they've seen, but not me, especially since they sent emails or PM's thanking me for a wonderful experience. Are they lying? Or have they been solicited to write reviews for the other SP? Do they feel she needs the review more than me? It's all very strange to me sometimes. It doesn't make a difference to me either way though. I feel that my presence on this board is more than enough to let gents get an idea of who I am. And the reviews I do have are wonderful (and I do love going back from time to time to read them, especially if I'm having a crappy day).

    I'm just curious as to why some of you might not be comfortable seeing married SP's or SP's in committed relationships, if the partner was aware and okay with the SP's chosen profession. I ask as someone who is in a committed (common-law) relationship with a man who is completely aware of my work and is also totally okay with it. Thoughts?

    My intent was not to start a fight or accuse anyone--RG's post was as good as anyone's to use as an example. The words you use are very important especially because they can be interpreted the wrong way by others.

    Well, the questioning of how many guys she was seeing around the same time seems to imply that it matters how many guys she was seeing. While no one in this thread has come out and specifically blamed her, the meaning behind the words is still the same. Maybe she didn't want to date the OP because he's gross or a jerk (I'm not saying you are OP!). But you're right, there are definitely two sides to every story. I just don't see the point in automatically assuming that she was using this guy (ED Man's words here, not yours roamingguy).

    I would say that most of us have all that information in our websites and if you can't be bothered to follow a link in an ad and take a few minutes to go over the site, then I'm not really that interested in seeing you. And professional photos are not required.

    Still not sure I see the issue. Was she cheating on said boyfriend with all these other men, or simply dating them? Cuz this sounds an awful lot like we're vilifying a woman who happens to be sexually active.

    I don't think segregating us into red-light districts is really the best idea if you want to lessen stigma. And the cops are one of the biggest problems in this profession. They certainly aren't going to change their feelings just because the law changed. Working with them is definitely something Ottawa needs to work towards, but it's a bit naive to assume that they're going to take the loss of some of their favourite punching bags lying down. And arresting someone for "problems with dress"? What might be the problem? They're wearing something too provocative? I don't think it's a good idea to start policing what women can wear. This is just going to lead to more distinctions being made between "regular" women and whores. If what you are wearing can label you a whore, then half the women in the Market on a Friday night are going to be in trouble. And no, NOT ALL cops are this way. But if you read the chapter on police harassment and violence in Challenges: Ottawa Area Speaks Out, it's pretty eye-opening.

    Well you can't fault the girl for leaving her boyfriend for another guy. I mean, are you saying you wouldn't have gone out with her if she'd left him for you? Probably not. But, take it from me, you're better off to cut her out of your life because keeping her around will only hurt because she doesn't feel the same way.

    Neither. I don't drink much pop these days except the occasional A&W root beer as a treat. When I first cut pop from my diet, I dropped about 15 lbs. I kid you not. And I will never drink diet-anything. Aspartame is DISGUSTING.

    I went to public school (except for a three year stint from gr. 4-6 in a Montessori). I'm not sure how I turned into the rebel that I am, but it didn't have anything to do with rebelling against religion :)

    I went to Barefax last night to try it out and having been at Barb's the night before, I have to say, I prefer Barbs to Barefax. The girls at Barefax just seemed really bored and disinterested (and not just with me, in general, maybe it was an off night). I did have a really great dance with a gorgeous older dancer named Caroline. She was a sweetheart. Also, just in terms of crazy flexibility, there was a dancer I tipped just because man, I have to give props where props are due. I think her name was Tabby? I'm not sure. She was an older blond with large fake breasts. She could do the splits and put her leg behind her head. It was kind of crazy.

    I LOVE THE STRIPCLUB. I went to Barb's last night for my birthday celebrations and I had a blast. The place was pretty busy, and it was hard getting girls attention sometimes (only three girls came to our table all night), but it was still fucking amazing. I got private dances from a really hot French girl named Jenna. I ran into the famous Cat and she treated me to a number of dances from Jenna. Then, I had dances with this REALLY REALLY HOT dirty blonde. I can't remember her name unfortunately. But she was amazing. And so sweet. I got private dances from her and then later my partner sprung for a couples dance from her and SHE WENT DOWN ON ME. It was nuts. I was in heaven. Boob heaven. God I love boobs.
